5 STAR Mini Compound, New CHIC Shed - Walk to Town, Bike to Beach & Dogs OK!

Just a short stroll from Edgartown Village, 100 yards off the bike path & 2 miles from South Beach - our island home is ideally located! It has been freshly renovated and designed to combine modern amenities with relaxed island living.

Perfect for entertaining, the main level features a well equipped kitchen that opens up to a cozy breakfast bar (seats 2), and custom built dining banquette (seats 6).

Past the kitchen, the first floor master suite features raised 10' ceilings, spa quality bathroom fixtures and finishes, a large walk-in closet, and private office with a memory foam sleeper sofa. The master suite also has direct access to the backyard and outdoor shower.

Upstairs are two additional bedrooms - one Queen suite (1 bed) and one Twin suite (2 beds). Both bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms and window seats with custom built-in storage space below.

Throughout the house, there are three zones for central air and four zones for Sonos (WiFi sound system). Weatherproof Sonos speakers have also been installed on the back deck! Simply download the free Sonos app & connect to our WiFi to play your own music.

Family games, books, beach chairs & coolers provided. High end linens, bath towels and dog blankets are also provided. Just pack your bags and beach towels!

Outside, mature landscaping provides ample privacy and a fully fenced in backyard is perfect for guests traveling with pets.

We had some snafu with VRBO. George was patient while we worked it all out. The home is lovely, well maintained, good use of every space. Everything you needed was there. We are looking forward to coming back.

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. From check in, communication with George, the house cleanliness and location, everything was perfect. This was the first time my whole family could get together for an entire week in YEARS and this house was beyond perfect for all of us plus a dog and 18m old! It was very very clean, plenty of rooms and bathrooms, and we were able to walk to downtown Edgartown daily. I only wish we could come back sooner. Thank you George for our wonderful family ‘reunion’!

We just spent a great week at this beautiful home!! George was a pleasure to work with and very quick with his responses to any of our questions. We have been coming to MV for 20 years,and this is the best place by far that we have rented. Everything you could need was right there… home away from home.. including fenced in yard for our 2 pups!!! Hoping to spend many more years at this sweet spot!!!!

Edgartown retreat

We had a fantastic week long vacation at this beautiful home. We had two families with a total 4 adults and 4 children ranging in age from just under 2 to 4 years old. The house accommodated our group quite well. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom which made it quite easy for our group to get ready quickly and with privacy for everyone. The kitchen is very well set up for cooking and it included everything we needed. The house is very nicely decorated with high end finishes. It is brand new and very clean. The yard is beautifully landscaped and has a great patio. One of my favorite features is the Sonos stereo system with speakers throughout the house and outside. We can't wait to return next year!

We had a great time staying in this house. It was so clean when we arrived. This was our 8th summer in MV and this was by far the cleanest house we’ve stayed in. The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen had many amenities and was easy to cook in. The refrigerator in the basement was an added bonus that we loved! This house is in a great location. We walked into Edgartown almost every night to shop, eat dinner or get ice cream at Mad Martha’s. It is also a quick drive to South Beach, our favorite beach of all time! George, our host, was so easy to work with. He was quick to answer questions and easy to contact. We loved this house and can’t wait to return!

Great Home, close to Town

This home is well-appointed and even nicer than the pictures! Great location, about a 12 minute walk to the heart of Edgartown. Very clean, easy check-in and George was a great host! We had everything we needed for cooking, baking, and serving meals and all linens were provided. (Just not beach towels). In terms of set up, there are two bedrooms on the 2nd floor (one with a queen bed, one with 2 twins) with en suite baths; 1st floor main suite with full bathroom, office, and walk-in closet; and a 1/2 bath on main floor. Additional sleeping and hang out space in the basement with an adorable built-in dog house under the steps. There is a new upscale shed off the back patio with a TV and furniture that's a great hangout space for families with teens/college kids or for a quiet space to work...we used it for both! Well-manicured lawn and landscaping. The outdoor shower is a great to have after the beach and being able to bring our dog a big plus. We had a great family trip!

We loved our stay

George is a very responsive, accommodating and friendly host. He was so welcoming to our pups and family. His home is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. The house itself is set up so well for a family situation. The primary suite is downstairs with a study and en-suite behind a door closing off the entire suite. Incredibly quiet and private so my husband could easily work even with the kids in the house. There are separate areas for kids to hang in the basement or in the spacious bedrooms upstairs. We never felt on top of each other and the kids loved the house. The kitchen is well equipped with high end appliances and stocked with gorgeous crockery. The garden is so pretty, private and securely fenced. The location is perfect! An easy walk/bike ride to town and short drive to South beach. Not many properties are both high end with a great host who welcomes pups. A real stand out! We hope to be back - Thank you George!

Great Edgartown Location

We love going to the Vineyard in the offseason and this home is perfectly located within walking distance of downtown Edgartown. The home is beautifully decorated and extremely well maintained. Very very clean and appointed with every amenity you could ever need including games and puzzles! Our dog really loved playing in the fenced backyard. The owner was extremely nice and easy to get in touch with. We have stayed at many homes on the island over the years and this, by far, was the best experience we have had yet. We wish we could have stayed longer and can't wait to come back.

Perfect Home for a Martha's Vineyard Getaway

Our trip to Martha's Vineyard was certainly made perfect by this lovely home in Edgartown. The home is easy walking distance to downtown but far enough away to feel private and out of the "hustle and bustle." The home was wonderfully appointed with everything we needed (and we love to cook) and the backyard was great for relaxing and grilling and, since it was fully fenced, it was perfect for our dog. Working with George was a dream - he was incredibly responsive and helpful with tips for fun things to do on island as well as great restaurant recommendations. We would definitely stay again and we recommend the home highly!

Excellent owner

Due to COVID-19 our trip couldn't happen but we were able to work with the owner. We look forward to booking this house for our next family vacation when it is safe to do so.

Our family of four really enjoyed this beautiful house. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was completely up to date with pristine appliances, dishes, utensils, etc. The beds were comfortable and clothed in Italian linens, with a walk-in closet in the master (main floor, next to kitchen). The backyard was private, well maintained and furnished nicely. A quick walk to town! A perfect place to relax. Central air-conditioning was a bonus. So was the TV that offered every imaginable station. Loved it all! George, the owner, is friendly and very helpful.

Beautiful vacation

My family stayed here last summer for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. The proximity to the town was perfect for us as we have 2 little ones and just put them in the stroller to walk to town everyday. The house itself is immaculate, clean and stocked with everything we needed- linens and kitchenware and a lounge space outside. There are large well appointed rooms and a beautiful kitchen. We've rented in MV every year for the last 20 years and this is by far one of our favorites. The love and care the owners put into the property shows with every details.

A truly lovely rental.

I fully concur with the other glowing reviews. My husband and I rented this house for a month just after the summer season, a time of year I highly recommend because the weather is still glorious yet the island is less busy. I have stayed in many houses on Martha's Vineyard and this is a very different kind of rental. Everything is new, well thought out and upscale. The kitchen is large and well equipped....we entertained island friends a number of times and it lacked nothing. The bedrooms are spacious, the mattresses are high end (My back thanks you, George!) and the bathrooms are in perfect shape. There are flat screen televisions in the living room and bedrooms. Sliding doors from the kitchen take you out to a charming patio where you can have your morning coffee or entertain friends. The backyard is private and nicely landscaped. The house is a ten minute walk from downtown Edgartown and a short drive or bike ride to South Beach and Morning Glory Farm, a gem of a farm where I stop each day to purchase produce and baked goods. George, the owner, was communicative and and available. I will definitely come back to this rental and throughly enjoyed my stay there. One tip - if you want to watch Netflix, HBO or any programming that is not on basic cable bring an Amazon Firestick or equivalent. It worked beautifully on the living room flatscreen.

Home Away From Home

What an Amazing week long vacation we spent in this beautiful Edgartown home. The minute we arrived and stepped into the house we felt right at home. This was not your average vacation rental home! It was new, clean and furnished with all high end amenities. All the appliances, fixtures, furniture, TV's, bedroom and bathrooms were done beautifully with high end finishes and the décor made you feel like you definitely were in the vineyard. Everything you could possibly need on a vacation and then some was provided. Beach towels, soft linens, games, beach chairs, cookware, WIFI and 3 zone central AC just to name a few. The beds were comfortable and linens were soft and luxurious. The location was perfect! it was minutes from quaint downtown Edgartown and a short bike ride to South Beach. The garage was a nice amenity to have to put all the beach gear and bikes away after a day out at the beach. The private back yard was beautifully landscaped with a nice patio area to unwind and relax and listen to some music on the SONO's sound system which was separately zoned through out the house. Having a full bathroom in each of the 3 bedrooms was a great luxury on top of the bathroom off the kitchen and the beautifully enclosed outdoor shower just off the master bedroom. We all had our own privacy when getting ready. George the owner was a pleasure to deal with and was in constant communication before, through out and after our stay. He was very accommodating with our schedule, got right back to us if we had a question and even helped us out with the ferry scheduling and restaurant recommendations. He explained everything we needed to know about the house and left a detailed info sheet for us upon our arrival. You can tell he takes pride in his home and truly makes you feel at home. If your looking for a beautiful, modern, clean fully equipped and centrally located Edgartown home, look no further! This is the vacation home for you! It's truly turn key. Just bring the bathing suits! MV Summer 2015 was a week full of great memories and we look forward to next summer at this beautiful home. Thanks George!

We were very pleased with our stay in Edgartown! The bright,clean,and newly renovated home was everything that we were hoping for. The owner provided us with all the efficiencies necessary for a relaxing vacation. The beautiful landscaping provided an extension of the indoors. Its location was very convenient to the bike trails, beach and Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. The owner's consistent communication made our stay that much more enjoyable. We were really impressed with the great customer service that we received prior, during and after our stay on the island. We have great memories of our summer vacation in Edgartown and would return to the same location in the future!
