It doesn't get any better than sitting on a porch swing in the heart of Edgartown?

Welcome to our classic Vineyard home where you can relax and see the world go by. Stroll to the restaurants, ice cream parlors, boutiques, gift shops, grocery store, museums, library, beach, playground, tennis and so much more. Or, enjoy a bike ride to the beach, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, Chappaquiddick or just cruise the many island bike paths. The possibilities are endless.

Our home has central air, is bright, spacious, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. It includes a separate guest house, perfect for in-laws or extra friends. Both the main house and guest house have been completely renovated with new bathrooms and kitchens.

The Main house first floor features a family room, living room, dining room, spacious and totally equipped large kitchen, which is great for entertaining, breakfast room and full bath. On the second level there is an over sized master bedroom suite, 2 additional large bedrooms, a full bath and laundry. On the lower lever there is a ping-pong table for those rainy days.

The newly renovated guest house comes complete with a bedroom, sitting room, full bath and kitchenette. Have breakfast and coffee while waiting for the main house to wake up. Perfect for grandparents (no stairs) or extra friends.

Enjoy our wonderful outdoor space, which includes a large yard with perennial gardens, patio and front porch as well as an outdoor shower. After swimming, biking, and exploring everything the island has to offer, relax with family and friends and grill dinner on our spacious patio or enjoy a good book with some hors d’oeuvres while relaxing in our rocking chairs on the front porch.

Our home comes fully equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, beach toys, bikes, games, puzzles and DVD's. Wireless Internet access is also included as well as off-street parking for 3 and a shed for storage. After your vacation here, you will head home renewed and refreshed, dreaming of your next visit. You will not be disappointed in your stay in our home.

Saturday to Saturday rentals only during July and August. Ferry tickets are available.

Perfect location.

Love our time at this beautiful home. It was walking distance to everywhere we needed to go and there were plenty of chairs and towels to take to the beach. We’d love to use it again.

Fantastic! Beautiful, clean, comfortable house. Loved the yard, front porch and outdoor shower. Kitchen had everything we needed. Close to adorable Edgartown. Wonderful all around.

Perfect home with great location.

Wonderful in-town home with all the amenities. Very spacious and nicely renovated with a great kitchen for gathering plus a family room and living room for large families with a nice outdoor space. The front porch is a great spot to hang out and the guest house was perfect for the grandparents. This was my second time staying at Sheila's homes. She is great to deal with. Highly recommend this home.

We loved this beautiful & spacious Edgartown home

We absolutely loved this gorgeous Edgartown home. It has many of the traditional features in a classic Edgartown house with the desired updates of modern kitchen, central air, large front porch, beautifully landscaped gardens and lawn. The outdoor shower is marvelous!! We were a group of 8 and had more than enough room for relaxing in or outside. Easy walking distance to charming downtown. We contacted the owner just once for a minor problem (trash pick-up) and she took care of it right away. We appreciated that!

The Perfect House for The Perfect Vaction

Our family had a fantastic vacation and the home we stayed in made the experience even more enjoyable. We had everything we needed and the accommodations were outstanding. The location of the property makes access to the beaches and shops very convenient. Once in the home, we found it to be thoroughly cleaned and very organized. We had plenty of kitchen supplies, linens and space to accommodate our large family. Our kids had their own place to hang out and spent plenty of time playing ping pong in the basement. The owner was so prepared, we even found jumper cables in the shed that came in handy when one of cars had a battery drain! I can't enough about this home, the meticulous way it's cared for and the responsiveness of the owner. We have plans to come back next year and for years to come!

Great house in a great location

We were three couples that recanted this very lovely house on a weekend to attend a wedding. We each had our own bedroom and bath. Enjoyed time in the big eat in kitchen and family room. We were able to walk to town and go all over on foot. To go to the beaches we needed a car but it's a great house near everything.

Lovely Home Close to the Heart of Edgartown

My husband, sister, niece and I enjoyed staying in this charming home during our first visit to Martha's Vineyard. Located on Main Street, it is a short walk to downtown Edgartown for dinner, ice cream, catching the ferry to Chappaquidick, or just strolling the streets to look at the historic homes and churches. Both the home and nicely landscaped yard are impeccably maintained and served as a comfortable and welcome retreat after a day's adventures. On the last night of our visit we had lobsters boiled at the seafood store right across the street and then walked along South Beach until sunset.

Great Home, Great Location, Great Owner!!!

We stayed at Sheila's home in Edgartown for three nights with our extended family from Germany. Pre and post trip communication was clear and concise. The home is conveniently located on the Main Street into Edgartown. Clean, well cared for and well equipped, the home comfortably accommodates 8-10 people, with extra space and privacy provided in the guest house. Groceries and several restaurants are within walking distance. Several beaches and Edgartown are 5-15 mins. by bike. I would recommend the home for any large family or group who wants to relax on the porch or patio, grill some fresh fish, and enjoy a bottle of wine while the kids entertain themselves with the toys in the shed or run down to the DQ for a soft serve. Island living at its best!

Great family home in great location!!

I went to MV for a wedding that was in edgartown and the location was PERFECT! Walking distance to everything with fish market across street and several grocery stores nearby. The house itself was also very large and comfortable to accommodate our whole family. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a nice meal. There were also great things in the shed to help with downtime (bike, bags, toys for kids). Homeowner was very responsive to any queries we had. Would definitely rent the house again in a second!

Excellent home and weekend getaway!

This house is in the perfect location, right in Main Street in Edgartown. We went for a girls' weekend and the house had plenty of space for all of us to stay with the multiple bedrooms and additional fully furnished cottage with beds and a pull out couch. The house was perfect walking distance from downtown Edgartown. We were able to walk down for breakfast, lunch, dinner and shopping, and it was a nice stroll. The house also has a great yard in which we had a clam bake one night. It was the perfect space for an outdoor cookout. The house was perfectly clean and equipped with all the amenities we were told to expect, including cookware, bathroom essentials, etc. we had a terrific stay and would love to return next year!

Memorable Experience on Martha's Vineyard

Our stay at Martha's Vineyard was too short! We loved the historical look and feel of the home and the location was fantastic. Several of the family members took advantage of the bikes and rode to town and across the little ferry to Chippaquiddick island while others of us walked to town for shopping and dining. Several specialty food shops are within walking distance... actually across the street. So convenience for cooking at home. The kitchen is well stocked for serving a large group. The commercial businesses are in charming homes so you have to look for the signs. All of us in our group agree that we would definitely come back again.

Great Girls Weekend Get-a-Way

This house was perfect for a girls weekend! The house is beautiful and very well kept! It is within walking distance to Edgartown shops and restaurants as well as the grocery store and bike rental. The kitchen is well stocked with everything that is needed. The beds are comfortable and we appreciated all the ammenities in the bathroom! I would highly recommend this property even for an off season retreat if you want to get away from the summer crowds!

Fun for the family

Great home for a get away with large group. Plenty of room for everyone. All kinds of amenities. Close to town, restaurants, grocery store, bike rental. Short ride to the beaches. It was like staying at your friends cute house but they weren't there.

Summer 2014 Great Vacation Spot (2nd year in row)

Wow! What a great place and twice the fun. Three families with four kids (age 7-11) have vacationed at this house for two years in a row and have had a great time. The house is very spacious and centrally located to all the dining, retail and entertainment venues in Edgartown. We never had to drive into town. Moreover, its unique location by the bike trails allowed us to cycle to Oak Bluffs and to Vineyard Haven with relative ease. The owner is very responsive and there are a lot of "extras" such as bicycles, beach boards, beach chairs, ping pong table etc. that make the trip enjoyable. It is as if the owner anticipated our needs and provided a lot of amenities. The house also has a "carriage" house that is a bonus room separate from the main house. Many of the adults found the "carriage" house to be a nice break from all the kid activity in the house and it is well appointed. The yard is spacious enough for kids and adults to enjoy separate play zones. And, we very much enjoyed sitting on the front porch. After the first trip in 2013, we liked the property so much that the same three families rented the house again in 2014 August. While I've never wrote reviews before, I can attest that the property is exactly what you see, is very well appointed, and in a great location where you can quickly walk to Edgartown, take a short drive to South Beach, walk to the grocery store and rent bikes from across the street. I wholeheartedly recommend this property and the next time we come back to Martha's Vineyard, we hope to rent this house a third time. I hope all the owners of properties on this site are as responsive and helpful as this owner. We had no complaints.

Great Home

My family of 5 stayed here this past July. We were walking distance to town. House was large enough to have guests and the guest house is adorable. Kitchen was large with many amenities. I would recommend this home for a vacation!

Perfect Vineyard Getaway!

I rented this home with 6 girlfriends for my best friends bachelorette party. The house was just as described -- spacious, clean, comfortable, and equipped with all necessary amenities. Like the interior of the house, the yard was spacious and well-kept, with plenty of options for outdoor seating and/or entertaining. The house was a short walk from downtown Edgartown (and the local grocery store), which was really convenient as we didn't need to worry about parking in town. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this home to anyone!

Dream Vineyard Accommodation!

We booked this house for a long girls' weekend at the beginning of the summer. The owner was constantly in contact and beyond helpful before our arrival which made us very comfortable with renting this house. I've stayed at properties that look great in pictures and are less than desirable in person, but this house did not disappoint and was BEAUTIFUL in person! Immaculately clean, up to date and comfortable. The yard is perfect for grilling and sitting in the sun. The grocery store, ice cream shops and pizza are right around the corner. Less than a mile walk or short drive to Edgartown Center for restaurants and shopping, a 10/15 minute drive from the ferry and a quick few mile drive to South Beach. We couldn't have asked for a better location. I will recommend this house to anyone traveling to the Vineyard and am definitely keeping it in mind for my future trips!

A Perfect Vacation

This was the perfect home for our family vacation. We stayed here during Christmas with our 4 adult sons from all parts of the country. The house was exactly as it was described on the website with everything we needed to make our Christmas warm and wonderful. Christmas dinner was a breeze with a kitchen that was fully equipped and a dining room that was perfect. The house was well cared for, very clean and comfortable. It was a great location where our son's could go downtown in the evenings without worrying about driving. The weather was warm enough that we were able to enjoy the front porch and we had some wonderful walks on the beach and terrific bike rides This was our first time to the Island and we are already planning a trip back in the summer were we can enjoy the great outdoors of this house. You could see there were lots of gardens, a nice private patio and yard and as I said, the location was perfect. Our stay could not have been better.

Perfect House, Great Location

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! I rented the house for a week with some friends to attend a wedding at Atria in Edgartown and it worked out perfectly! The location of the house was steps from the center of town and renting the house was a great way to turn a wedding weekend into a vacation week, especially for some who had to travel across country. The house was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The perfect place to stay in Edgartown

This house was perfect. It is open and spacious, the yard is beautifully landscaped. The house was walking distance to everything! We walked to town, rode our bikes to the beach, caught the VTA across the street. I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in Martha's Vineyard.

This house was perfect for 7!

Our first visit to Martha's Vineyard and this house was in the perfect location: 1/2 mile to town and an easy 1.5 miles to the beach. Of course we explored many other beaches while there. Our house was so convenient that other family members would park in our driveway and walk to town. We were 2 families (there for a wedding) with three grown daughters and the bedrooms were perfect. The house is clean, well appointed and large enough for us all. My husband brought a router with him so we were wifi worthy within minutes. It was great hearing the kids playing ping pong in the basement. It was great having AC, beach toys, plenty of places in which to relax and 3 updated bathrooms. Upon our return I mentioned that the grill and coffeemaker needed updating, and the owner said that by next season, she would. A great house with a very responsive owner.

Vineyard getaway

We'll definitely rent this house again. The house was very clean, spacious and well appointed. I believe that anything you would need was available there (bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc.). The location is perfect for the bike path, walks to Edgartown and DQ, and shopping. We've been renting on the vineyard for more than 20 years and found this rental to be one of the best.

Perfect House in Edgartown

The house was perfect in everyway. The house immaculate, in great condition, no wear & tear. Wonderful decor, very comfortable, extremely roomy & airy. The kitchen was delightful. The TV room was a great place for the kids to hang out, in addition to the guest house which was a huge hit with the kids, along with the kiddy pool, toys & boogy boards. The patio was well used for nightly dinners on the grill. And of course, the front porch, a great place to relax & people watch. The location was absolutely perfect. A 10 minute walk to the middle of Edgartown, where the lighthous is a delight to see, the diner, the book store & of course Mad Marthas, though Dairy Queen, right across the street was a hit too!. and the Seaford market! and a block from Stop & Shop was convenient to stock the kitchen. We would definitely choose this house again!
