This beach house is absolutely amazing! Right on the beach with a deck perfect for sunsets. Check in was easy and within minutes we were walking the beach.

The view is spectacular, no doubt about it.Everything else, not so much. I will begin by saying that it won't matter what I say, nothing will change. Nothing has changed in the last 10 years. Old, dirty, disgusting inside furniture.The outdoor furniture is rusty and old, not even something you want to sit on. How about purchasing some new furniture inside and outside? Pretty sure you can afford it with the prices you are charging. On their booking website it says "Absolutely No Smoking inside. No smoking on balconies or decks". We specifically booked this place because of the view but also because it was smoke free. I have asthma and that is extremely important. Apparently the no smoking doesn't pertain to the people in the bungalow right next door. He can smoke all day long outside on his deck and we had to smell it all day long.Why bother saying anything.He will do what he wants. They were like your nosey neighbors, constantly watching comfortably from their deck.We also weren't too happy when a large group of people who weren't even renting from this complex showed up and sat their butts in the sand within inches right in front of our bungalow for the whole afternoon of the first full day we arrived.They seemed to know the man who smokes in the bungalow right next door. I'm pretty sure they didn't pay thousands of dollars like we did for this place!We will look elsewhere next year.

The views from the deck are absolutely amazing and one of a kind! The other great thing about the property is the fact that there is not a lot of people on the beach, it is like your own private spot. Very clean and just what we needed to recharge and recalibrate the vibes.

Overall we were somewhat disappointed. First, not having a washer and dryer is hard with children, and definitely shouldn't have to pay extra when you are paying the price to stay already. Read the fine print in the details specifying coin operated laundry off site. The house has obviously been updated but has some uneven spots in the floor, the glass on the living room table was broken when we arrived and a window in the kitchen was cracked. Our biggest issue, however, was the bathroom. Located in the living room/kitchen area it is not very private. The door is a farm house style, sliding door with no lock and large cracks on each side. There are no blinds on the doors facing the beach, allowing anyone to see inside, especially at night. No closets in the bedrooms. Rooms small. First 2 days we had no internet or television, until the cable company came out to fix Monday morning. The views were amazing. Being right on the beach was great, super convenient. Disliked that there is a boardwalk directly beside the property as this made it more public than private as we imagined. Kitchen was well equipped. Amenities provided.Don't get me wrong. We had a wonderful time. Although, driving 12-13 hours and spending thousands of dollars you set certain expectations that aren't always met.

This is an excellent property and exactly what we wanted. The location is the best feature. Right on the sand. It is a well-maintained unit where everything works and just blocks from good restaurants. We spent everyday reading and swimming on the beach with the option of stepping inside for lunch and breaks.

Perfect beach house

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The property was exactly as described, and just steps from a quiet, peaceful beach. Everything was so convenient, from check-in to beach access. If you're looking for a relaxing and hassle-free beach escape, this is the place. We would definitely stay here again!

Being right on the beach was a highlight. Bathroom and kitchen were clean, some of the furniture (inside and out) could have been cleaner. Mattresses were comfortable and overall we had a relaxing visit and enjoyed our stay!

Great Beach House

This place was one to remember! The beach is literally a couple steps away from front door. If youā€™re looking for a beach getaway this is the place. Thanks for everything, we had a blast! Only criticism is we only wish we could have stayed longer.

Right on the beach!! Already planning to come back

Great place. Truly right on the beach. The sound of surf and the smell of the ocean are all around. Big kitchen and good-sized living area, bedrooms are small but have room for suitcases. Note that what you gain in location you sacrifice in privacy as there are people outside your front porch all day (blinds on the front windows would go a long way to mitigate this situation). Would have appreciated more towels. Lots of good dining options nearby, and we walked most places.

Peaceful Beach

We enjoyed our stay without a doubt. The beach is literally out the back door. I felt as if it were a private beach most of the time. Very respectful neighborhood & quiet. Lounge chairs available and plenty of space for the 4 of us. A bungalow beach feeling. We used little to no electronics & it was easy to disconnect from our busy lives. Resting & enjoying the sun!

Here is just a quick overview of my career along with a few of CVRā€™s strengths in the Vacation rental industry. .

I have been involved in the hospitality field most of my life. After graduating from Boston University back in 1986 I got my start working as a night auditor in a small hotel just outside of Boston. I soon became fascinated with this industry and wanted to know everything about it. I enjoyed finding ways to improve the overall experience for the guests and in doing so was promoted often. I learned all aspects of each department and through the years I was the General Manager of some well-known hotels. .

During my corporate career as a General Manager of a Hyatt Hotel in Tampa I had an opportunity to manage a small beach vacation rental along the shores of the Gulf. Simply putā€¦I was hooked. This became my new passion and career.

My wife and I had stayed in vacation rentals in the past with mixed feelings about our stays, I knew there was room for improvement in the Vacation Rental business and I was excited to get started.

I feel our success at Carter Coastal Vacation Rentals is from having a variety of vacation property options that suites each guests needs and budget. We also have chosen to keep CVR business relatively small in order to maintain a personable connection with each of our new arrivals. I, along with my team understand the importance of anticipating the guestā€™s needs as well as treating each guest with complete respect during their vacation getaway.
