Amazing views of the ocean right in front of the Twin Rocks! Two separate cottages with a common porch are rented together with a combined 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 separate kitchen/living/dining rooms on a large ocean front lot with a hot tub and an Arcade!
Our oceanfront beach house is on a big, private lot in south Rockaway Beach located right in front of the Twin Rocks. The house consists of 2 units with separate entrances that are connected by a common porch. Each unit has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining and living rooms with amazing views of the ocean. The 5th bedroom, 3rd bath and laundry room are located downstairs and accessed through a separate outside entrance.
Sliding glass doors in the dining rooms lead to a large deck in the back of the house with a hot tub and panoramic views of the ocean and Twin Rocks. A private path leads through our yard directly to the beach right in front of the Rocks.
The house even has its own retro arcade downstairs in the garage to entertain the kids (and adults) when the weather is bad. The game selection will vary and may include foosball, ping pong and arcade games such as Asteroids Deluxe and Donkey Kong multicade (60 classic games in 1). All games are set for free play, so no need to bring quarters. Please note that some arcade games may not be operational during your stay, these are older games that sometimes break and we can`t always fix them right away.
The 5 bedrooms each have queen beds and there is one futon in the downstairs 5th bedroom, also two fold out thin foam mattresses for extra sleeping (located in two of the bedroom closets (10 people in Queen beds plus 4 people on foam mattress/sofas for 14 total).
PLEASE NOTE: The sofas are not sleeper sofas and we no longer have futons in the living rooms.
With 3 separate spaces (North Unit, South Unit and downstairs 5th bed/bath), this is a great place for an extended family gathering or a multi-family getaway or for any large group that wants to vacation together, but still have some private space.
There is enough parking in the front for about 6 cars.
About Rockaway Beach:
Rockaway Beach is a small coastal resort town located only about 1.5 hours from Portland. It has a beautiful 7 mile continuous beach anchored by Tillamook Bay to the south and Nehalem Bay to the north. It’s a great location with everything you need within a short drive.
Things to do:
Walk to town (about ½ mile) and visit the shops and restaurants
Walk or drive to the beach and enjoy the 7 miles of continuous sandy beach
Take the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad from Rockaway north to Wheeler and south to Garibaldi
Hike or mountain bike the logging roads in the forest behind the city. Enjoy a panoramic view of the ocean from the top of the hills
Visit The Original Pronto Pup to see the world’s largest corn dog and ride the mechanical corn dog (the Pronto Pup is the earliest known corn dog and was invented in Rockaway Beach in 1939)

Rent motor boats and go crabbing in Garabaldi and Nehalem Bay
Fishing in the many lakes right in town (Lake Lytle, Spring Lake, Nedonna Lake)

The houses are always rented together as one unit, so guests have exclusive access to the entire property including the large, private backyard with direct access to the beach... and the private arcade!
We communicate mostly through text messages or give us a call if you need anything.
Lots of privacy in our quiet residential neighborhood. Private yard with an amazing view and a path to the beautiful 7 mile stretch of beach in front of Twin Rocks.
Restaurants and shops are located one mile north of the house, a 2 minute drive or a 20 minute walk along the beach.
Tillamook Bay is 2 miles south and Nehalem bay is 5 miles north and there are several lakes right in town, so lots of fishing and crabbing opportunities close by.
No public transit, but we`re only about a mile south of the main street with lots of cute boutiques and restaurants.
Prices are subject to change and are not guaranteed until booking is confirmed.
Well behaved pets may be allowed with host`s permission and a small fee (2 pets max). Please check with us if you plan to bring pets.
3 or 4 nights minimum stay in Summer, 4 nights for Summer holidays, 3 or 4 nights for Winter holidays and 2 nights the rest of the year.
Maximum occupancy for the property is 15 people.
An additional cleaning fee may be required if excessive trash is left in the house or yard.
We try our best to keep the arcade games working, but they sometimes break. We don`t issue refunds for any arcade games that are not working.
Additional details and check-out procedures will be provided by the host in the house manual.

- All pets must be approved prior to check in.
- Max occupancy is 14.
- Feel free to use any boots or jackets in the common areas of the house. Please put them back before checking out. Please do not use clothing/tools/etc in the closets. Those are personal belongings.
- We know it’s cool but please do not touch the Crabalopes. They bite ;)
- Music and (other loud noises) should be kept down after 10pm. Local quiet time is from 10:00PM to 8:00 AM
- Some folks on our street live here year round, so please be courteous to them when it gets late. And remember, we do not allow parties without prior guest approval.
- No fires or fireworks on the property. Beach fires are permitted by the city of Rockaway, however.
- No smoking in the house. If you smoke in the yard, please properly dispose of all cigarette butts.
- Be nice to our home and arcade. We’ve spent a lot of time fixing up for your friends/family and ours to enjoy. Thank you!!
- Garbage pick-up is on Monday mornings in the off season and Monday/Friday mornings in the peak season. If you are staying over or departing on a pickup day, please take out any trash the night before.
When you’re departing the house, please make sure to do the following:
- Remove all food from the refrigerator.
- Clean the outdoor grill (if you used it)
- Load dishwasher and start or hand wash dishes remaining dishes.
- Strip linens from bed, place in washer and start. Please place additional linens and soiled towels in the laundry basket next to the washer.
- Turn off all games, heaters and lights
- Remove all trash from inside and outside of the house and place in the trash receptacles outside. Please close lid tightly and do not leave trash outside of receptacles as the critters will get into it.
- Haul your recyclables to the recycle center or take them home with you. Please do not throw them in the trash.

If the trash is full upon arrival please let us know so we can call for additional service. Please do not leave trash outside of the receptacles as it will end up all over the street. Thanks for understanding.
