Get ready for a memorable oceanfront holiday on the North Coast when you stay in Rockaway on the Beach, a 2 level, 3,200 square foot launchpad for your next coastal stay.



With four bedrooms and two game rooms, this home is the perfect spot for a gathering of friends or a family reunion. Its light-filled great room will draw guests to the contemporary furnishings, large flat-screen TV; the wood-lined and beamed vaulted ceiling is supported by floor-to-ceiling windows and views of beach grass and ocean sky.



You can walk right out to an expansive deck with a new hot tub, dining tables, a gas barbecue, and a private entrance to a sandy path to miles of beach. When you aren’t dining on the deck, you can gather at the trestle table in the sunny dining room or the long breakfast bar overlooking the newly remodeled chef’s kitchen. It sports a large gas range, stainless-steel appliances, and plenty of skylit counters and an island—making a perfect spot for lots of helpers to cook for a crowd.



Two queen bedrooms give you space for extra guests, though you’ll want to reserve the elegant king master suite for yourself. The kids will delight in the bunk room, not to mention the two game rooms with both ping-pong and pool tables, sofa, TV, refrigerator and elevated table. They’ll also enjoy the delights of the beach and the town of Rockaway, with its shops, dining, fishing, and steam railroad trip to and from Garibaldi. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

★ Pet Friendly **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

★ Hot Tub *We strive to make sure hot tubs are working at all times. If they are not working due to circumstances outside of our control, unfortunately we cannot provide any type of refund for the inconvenience.

Beautiful Home and Beach, but Serious Safety and Maintenance IssuesWe chose this home for our 25th anniversary family vacation. The decor, furnishings, comfortable beds and linens were wonderful. We loved the hot tub, games, pool and ping pong tables, and well-stocked kitchen. The beach was spectacular, especially the walk to the South Jetty, with driftwood, seals and fishing boats.Unfortunately, the property fell short in important ways. Doors and windows were unlocked upon arrival. A bathroom outlet was hanging from the wall, kitchen hot water measured approximately 140F, and adding cold water reduced the flow to almost nothing. The nonstick pans were too deteriorated to use.Skylights and windows had spiderwebs that I had to clean, and three live spiders —concerning with a two-year-old. Hand towels were dirty, and a broken decorative plate was left on the counter. Several blinds wouldn't retract, requiring zip ties. A space shown in the listing and floor plan was locked off.Most disappointing, overgrown hedges almost completely blocked the advertised ocean view. The beach path was overgrown and the walk longer than advertised. Listing photos did not reflect reality.We reported the issues to iTrip but received a response only after following up two days later. A landscaper cleared the path but only partially trimmed the hedges and never returned.A lovely home in a gorgeous location, but safety, maintenance, listing accuracy and management need significant improvement!

This was a great spot for our family to spend enjoying the Oregon coast. The view is beautiful, though could be better if some of the trees and bushes were trimmed a little and if all of the blinds in the living room and dining room worked properly. It was great having our own path down to the beach, so convenient. The hot tub worked great, and we enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table. The kitchen is really well stocked, seems to have anything you could need. We will definitely be staying again.

Wonderful!

Once Upon a Tide exceeded our expectations! It's big, beautifully decorated, well-stocked, clean, very close to beach, and had a separate room for pool and another separate room for ping pong! We used the hot tub, the grill, the beach toys, the dining room, the outdoor table, and certainly the kitchen! Everyone loved it and we highly recommend!

This was an ideal home where we gathered with our adult daughters and son in law. There was enough space for everyone to gather and cook together, but also privacy because of the nicely furnished bedrooms and private baths. The beachfront location is downright heavenly, with a path through the sea grass to the large sandy shore. We would like to return next year! The only downside was a downstairs (extra) refrigerator that didn’t work. We made do with our coolers for wine, hop water and beer from our Portland craft brewers. We had two dogs with us and found the location perfect for short and long walks. The town of Rockaway Beach had everything we needed, as our son in law stocked the place with a prior trip to Costco in Portland. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen to whip up smoothies, air fry a snack, or prepare a multi course dinner. Beautiful experience.

The location was amazing just steps from the beach. The home was roomy and comfortable except there was a leak causing mold to grow on the ceiling on the main level. The home stunk of mold and when I mentioned it to the property managers, they didn’t offer a discount or a solution.

The host was very welcoming and provided all kinds of information. The house is incredibly comfortable, and that sleeps a large number of individuals. The beds are comfortable, plenty of towels are provided, and the kitchen is a chef’s dream. The hot tub is an added treat, and I would definitely return to this property.

Well equipped with plenty of space. We all enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table and hot tub. Location was ideal with ocean front access right from the deck. Nicely adjacent to Rockaway Beach, Tillamook, Manzanita, and Cannon Beach but without the crowds!

Wonderful vacation home

We stayed 2 nights in July with family ranging from age 75 to 9 months old and a dog. The home was clean. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Great location, easy access to beach, house located on quiet private street. Ping pong table and Billiard table, board games and puzzles were a plus. We enjoyed walks along the beach which was easily accessible via a private trail through the tall grass. The south jetty had great tide pool to explore during low tide. Kitchen was well stocked. We cooked and grilled and ate at the dining table large enough to seat all of us. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house and was able to make wonderful memories together! Couple things we would recommend looking into are below: 1. the back sliding door is hard to open and close 2. it would be nice to have some windows with screen (one above the sink and several facing the beach) to open and let cross breeze in to ventilate the house 3. mattresses in the downstairs bedrooms may need to be changed. One of our family members said the mattress was lumpy and too soft 4. Kitchen is well stocked with all sorts of utensils and plenty of plates/cups/silverware but it would be nice to have a lighter, couple more silicone tipped tongs and consider getting new frying pans/pots. 5. The hand towel hanger in the 1/2 bathroom upstairs was loose and the soap dispenser did not work. 6. Lastly, I would recommend putting a strip or sign downstairs where there is a step down between the bedrooms and the billiard room. Many of us almost tripped and fell. Thank you!

AMAZING place

This home is really just perfect. The overall location is five minutes from the main Rockaway Beach area (great food and activity), and then it is centrally located so that in 40 minutes you can go north to Cannon Beach, and in 40 minutes you can go south to Short Beach and Tillamook. It is literally right on the beach - you walk out the back sliding glass door and a magical walkway leads you to a pretty much private stretch of beach surrounded by mountains. There is also a large hot tub right on that back deck to enjoy. But that's not even the inside. The house is planned in such a way that a really large family - or two small families - could rent the home and have plenty of space to never feel cramped. The upstairs master is spacious, and the living area is full of natural light. Massive kitchen with everything you need, comfy sofa and chairs, and tons of games and books to help when the pacific northwest weather does what it does. Downstairs has a pool table, ping pong table, and three bedrooms - one of which is bunk style. The washer and dryer are great as well. All said, our family of six enjoyed five amazing nights there.

Beautiful and spacious home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beachfront home. Location was great right on the beach, incredible sunsets each night. Plenty of room for the adults and our kids. Well stocked and huge kitchen. The home has been completely renovated inside with beautiful floors, modern bathrooms and updated kitchen. We enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table and hot tub.

Quiet beachfront property

We enjoyed this home! The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. The beds were really comfortable and the hot tub was excellent! This house had plenty of room. The main living area is upstairs and the beach is a short trail walk away in case you have anyone with mobility issues, but for our group it worked out really well. Rochaway is just a short (5 minute) drive into town and we loved the private location of this home. We would rent again!
