Ocean front beach home! Private beach/volleyball court, hot tub, beautiful views

Family owned since 1992, our 2 story 2,100 square foot home is designed to maximize the expansive ocean views from both the upper and lower floors, with the main bedroom upstairs and 2 additional bedrooms on the lower level. Each level has a full bathroom.
This cottage style home has wood accents throughout with a wood burning fireplace upstairs and LCD TV. The extended dining area contains a wet bar, stereo/CD player, and two tables for dining. All with a view and access to the upper deck.
The lower level is furnished with comfortable seating, TV/VCR, game table, full size futon, second full bathroom, laundry room, and extra refrigerator/freezer. There is direct access to the large lower deck and ocean view hot tub. Perfect for vacation!

Our private volleyball court is perfect for sheltered relaxation, a spirited game of volleyball, or there's room for both just off the lower deck. An easy stroll about 50 yards further down a dedicated sandy path gets you to the main beach. We love not only our "little beach" for small children to play and volleyball, but also the close proximity to Clark's creek for family fun in shallow water. You can't beat our view of Twin Rocks, the ocean waves, and the sunset!
This home is located in Rockaway Beach in the 7 mile sandy beach between Tillamook Bay and Nehalem Bay.
The home is managed by the owners.

Location and view were amazing, house was clean and spacious and kitchen was well stocked. We felt pressure with the rules and check out to do list. We are well traveled with rentals, we clean up and start dishes and or laundry. But we were instructed to do laundry the night before and the morning of check out and there were many items listed that could incur extra fees. It led us to not feeling entirely comfortable or relaxed. We are not messy people and I knew we would NOT incur extra charges but I felt on edge about it. We agree it takes all parties to make rental homes work, of course we would load the dishwasher and start it and not leave a huge mess and strip the beds but in addition to cleaning fees we felt we were required to still do a lot.

House is at a convenient location right next to beach and close to other towns so you can base here. We enjoyed going to Netarts, Tillamook, Garibaldi (salmon fishing), hiked at Oswald State Park, and went to Astoria (Lewis & Clark State Park) We preferred Rockaway beach to Cannon beach. Less people & a lot of beach to walk on. The back deck was spacious. Sunsets amazing. House had adequate space for our family of four. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had what we needed and we used it quite a bit b/c restaurant hours weren't always convenient earlier in the week. Enjoyed getting fresh fish and salmon dip at Captain's Corner. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

The property is excellent, offering a stunning view that we would highly recommend. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to streamline the checkout requirements, as the extensive list of tasks was quite time-consuming and impacted our planned itinerary. Nevertheless, we ensured that all cleaning instructions were carefully followed to leave the property in good condition.

This home was amazing!!! The kitchen was fully stocked which was a huge plus! It was easy to get to, easy access to the beach and easy access to all the coastal cities. We couldn't find any marshmallow forks for the beach fire which was a bummer. So if you plan to have a beach fire and want to do smores, bring your own from home. That part was soooo minimal compared to everything the owner provides. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in that area. Kudos and bravo for keeping such a beautiful home for families to rent.

The house was located closer to a busy street then I expected, but turned out fine. The front of the house was AMAZING with a great view and easy access to the beach. The hot tub was nice (a little over chlorinated) and the kitchen was very well stocked. Very comfortable home with two living areas and lots of great oceanfront decking. We had a wonderful stay.

It was a great location right on the beach. Our family enjoyed playing on the sand volleyball court and also having direct access to the beach only a few steps away. The home was also very close to everything in town. The home was spacious enough to accommodate 9 of us.

Fantastic property, right on the beach exactly as described. Perfect for a mixed family including grand parents, parents, and grand kids. Just the right amount of space and separation for the grand parents to get a little peace and quiet! Well equipped kitchen, comfortable home, and very responsive and helpful hosts. Highly recommend!

Very nice property but not too nice to where I have to hover over the kids constantly! Beach is right there. Equipped kitchen plus some . Awesome for the kids 8-14 younger would have been great as well. Property owner is very nice and thorough. Wonderful hosts! I will be back next year

It was pretty okay

The good:You can’t beat the location—just steps from the beach with stunning views and a peaceful, scenic setting. The living room was cozy and inviting, and the shared spaces were perfect for relaxing or spending time with family. Everything was spotless, with plenty of towels.The not-so-great:Be prepared for consistent road noise, day and night—it made both sleeping in and daytime naps tough. The hot tub unfortunately never got hot, and the access road is so rough it might test your suspension. The house rules require guests to do laundry before checking out, which feels a bit much considering there’s already a cleaning fee. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were paper-thin, and the water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired.

Cozy Family Reunion

Great place for family to gather and relax. Well stocked kitchen, very clean, hot tub was wonderful, and great beach access with private path. An extension cord or two might be needed to assist with east bedside access for cpap machines if you travel with all adults.

Gorgeous beachfront home made our family reunion special.

The house was very clean & well stocked. The beds were comfortable and had nice quality linens. You can't beat the location on the beach near town amenities. We loved the upper and large lower deck for the kids to play on with a view of the ocean. The private volleyball beach was also a favorite of the kids. We stay at the Oregon Coast a few times each year and this home will be on our repeat visit list.

This place was perfect for us. We love how well stocked the kitchen was for cooking and the beds were really comfortable - both very important things! It was still chilly weather but the private beach was protected and great to sit in the sun and read. We went for long walks in the beach, did a couple hikes, played games, read books. We loved it and hope to return.

Great location!

Great location and size of the space! They had lots of towels, beach toys, beach chairs, soaps, laundry detergent and sunscreen- which was nice since we forgot ours. The TVs have been updated since the pictures, so they’re larger now. Overall, great stay!

Great location and good times!

We loved this house! Everything was as it stated. We loved being able to walk right down to the beach whenever or letting the kids play in the back with sand toys. The hot tub was great! Loved how it’s blocked off from the wind so it doesn’t get too bad. However our weather turned out perfect for a spring break getaway with all sunshine every day! The kitchen was well stocked with utinsels and cookware. The bbq was brand new I think. The only issue we had was the remote for the tv downstairs was missing and the tv in the master bedroom didn’t seem to be connected either. Not a big deal though. We weren’t there to watch tv. The hosts were super nice when we asked questions and apologized for the missing remote. Over all it was a great time and we would come back in the future for sure!

Fantastic Views, Clean and Comfortable

We spent spring break with the kids here...the views are unbeatable .. gorgeous sunsets, easy access to the beach. Private Volleyball court was amazing! The house was well stocked, clean And cozy. Everything was thoughtfully stocked. Highly recommend!
