This 4 BR/3 1/2 BA two story home is nicely decorated with a beach theme and has a fenced in backyard with a private pool. Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and one has a twin with a twin pullout trundle. One of the queen rooms has a private full bath and the other two rooms share a full bath. The large master suite has a vaulted ceiling, a seating area and a private balcony. It has a king bed and a queen sofa sleeper. The master bath is equipped with a dual vanity, an oversized tub and a walk-in shower. You will surely enjoy gathering with your friends and family in the downstairs area. The large kitchen and dining area will easily accommodate a large group. The large farm table seats 10 people and 4 more can sit at the bar. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. The living area is a comfortable area to hang out after the beach! The leather couches pull out and provide a sleeping area for 2 additional people. A great time will be had by all in the backyard! Relax on the patio, BBQ on the gas grill and cool off in the private pool. In the cooler months, you can continue to enjoy the pool when you request to use the pool heater (for an additional fee).

Our family reunion was thoroughly enjoyed by all especially the Grandkids. The house was immaculately clean and had lots to offer. The kitchen was fully equipped and ended up being our hangout place. The only disappointment was the outside grill with faulty handle on the gas cylinder. However, the hamburgers were easily cooked inside the kitchen. Overall this is a nice home to rent. Close to everything including the beach.

Family Vacation

We love the property, very convenient location. The pool was AMAZING, house it beautiful the only complaint was the air conditioning it gets very warm at night however host does supply fans for 2 of 4 rooms! Great vacation

Great 50th Anniversary weekend with family

We loved everything about this house ( Texas Moon) we had everything we needed, it was very clean & organize,, the Pool & Patio was a great place to hang out at after a day at the beach,, we will be booking again!!

Texas Moon -- Our Second Stay

We've been going to Port Aransas for 15 years, and Texas Moon is by far our favorite rental. The private pool is about 5 feet deep and is plenty big for adults and older kids to play games. The adjacent covered patio is the perfect place for morning coffee, reading, conversation, etc. We've had friends say "Isn't a pool at a beach house a bit redundant?" Our answer is "Try it and see how much it expands your vacation fun!"

Mothers/Daughters Getaway

Shelly's house was amazing! Kitchen was very well stocked for our needs. Plenty of space for us all to spread out and we never felt cramped. There were 6 girls and 5 moms. The outdoor shower felt fantastic after a full day at the beach covered in sand and sweat and then a plunge into the pool was the icing on the cake at the end of our day. We did not take shampoo/conditioner/soap so that was only minor issue which was probably my fault for not reading what was provided. We would rent this property again and hope we can next summer! Thanks for the hospitality.

Family Vacay 2023

We were all very impressed with the accommodations, cleanliness and swimming pool. Only 1 tiny suggestion, needs a full body mirror. We loved it and plan on going back.

Great experience!

Very nice! Property owner went out of their way to leave my son a sweet card and treats for his birthday. What a fun surprise! Beds were comfortable, location was right by the beach, kitchen was well organized with plenty of dishes and utensils. Really enjoyed our stay! Afternoon sun on the pool, at this time of year (summer) is pretty intense, might suggest that an umbrella/s near the sun chairs would be a nice addition! ;) Highly recommend. 5 stars!

Fathers Day trip

The home was very comfortable and the A/C worked very good and we did as instructed to keep it set at the noted temp and it was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped and accommodated all our needs. All bedrooms were very comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. The whole house was very clean. Large dinning table and additional seating at the island. The pool was wonderful and the lounge area was nice as well. We will definitely stay again. Close to beach and to restaurants in town. Parking was a little tight but we managed. Would have been nice to have a little more shade for around the pool but hey it was hot and it is what it is. Host was very informative and nice. Thanks for having us and keep up the property we will use it again. Greg

Great stay

Relaxing convenient beach getaway- loved the pool!

My family had a great time at the beautifully decorated Beach home. Extremely clean with easy access to the beach via a short walk. The pool was the star attraction! We would rent again- but next we are renting a golf cart!

Worth every bit

Rocky start to the checkin with the code but after that everything was good all vacations have hiccups but the fact that they surpassed as host made them be irrelevant.

Great Family Vacation

Our family very much enjoyed this home. It is very spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. Not only easy to get to the beach, but we also enjoyed the pool. We will plan to stay again when we visit Port Aransas.

Plenty of room!

We had one set of grandparents, two married couples and 4 boys (ages 5-9) and had plenty of space! Trundle room was great, the living room was perfect, and the dining room had a large enough table next to the kitchen bar where we could all sit and enjoy a meal. Backyard was lovely as was having our own pool. Place was VERY clean. Shelly was great to text with about our arrival & departure. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely respite for families in Port A

My husband and I brought our three daughters ages 20, 17, and 14, plus one 20-year-old BF. The property is well maintained and equipped, and communication with the owner was flawless. The beach is only a 15 minute walk away and the property is equipped with a collapsible wagon to cart your stuff there - so no need for a beach parking permit or golf cart rental if you want to save some $. The private pool was wonderful - so relaxing - a little oasis. Be sure to bring your own beach towels! Bath towels are provided, but you'll need your own beach towels as well as any beach floats/toys that you would like to have.

Awesome vac in Port A!

We will stay here again! We had an awesome vac week in Port A! The house is perfect for a multi-generation family since the bedrooms are separate from the living areas. The pool was a huge hit with our grandkids and old "kids" as well! Shelly and Shawn are awesome hosts, we received immediate responses with a few questions we had, we really appreciated that!

He has grown to love Port Aransas as much as I do and we are so happy to have a home here that we can enjoy with our children and grandchildren.
