Description: Located in the beautiful development of Echota on the Ridge, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom top floor (stair access only) with loft condo is perfect for your next vacation. This condo is fully furnished with everything you would need for a long retreat or a short weekend getaway. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and the living room is inviting with a gas log fireplace and amazing mountain views. Curl up, get cozy and read a book, watch TV or take a nap…. the choice is yours! Guests of this unit have access to the deck from the living room or primary bedroom where they can breathe in fresh mountain air while gazing at the mountains and listening to the sounds of nature. Enjoy a short mountain getaway to relax or an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. 

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Snow Weekend Retreat

Excellent

I didnt expect the community to be on a mountain so the drive to the property was pretty cool but keep in mind that its about 5 mins to get down to the main road. Checking in was a smooth process and the place had everything needed for a weekend stay. The community is so calm and quiet that it feels like you're the only one there, the view is amazing and most important for me was the location, It's literally in the middle of everything. I will definitely stay here again!

Great vacation destination

Our family spent a week at this property right after Christmas and had a great time. Plenty of room for family of 4. Clean and great views. Having in unit laundry was great post hiking in the mud and melting snow. We arrived after snow, but definitely recommend snow tires for four-wheel drive to get to the property should there be a recent snowfall.

Perfect 1 week getaway

All my children enjoyed the stay. The view of blue ridge mountains is so breath taking from the balcony. Its very quite and peaceful. Overall if the indoor pool is located with the outdoor pool will be more better easier with 4 children. Thanks for the experience. We will love to book again.

Snowstorm Izzy 2022

We went to see snow and it did disappoint. Had a blast being snowed it. Spent the day sledding down the hills and in the parking lot. Did not enjoy the crack above the porch door that sounded like a Banshee when the wind blew or the snow that came in with it. We had to use a towel to seal the crack. The gas fireplace stopped working during our stay and maintenance was not able to look at it due to the storm. We were able to extend our stay for a day, since leaving the property was out of our expertise, being from Florida. When they send you a list of what is provided please pay close attention to it and bring your own supplies. The garbage can in the kitchen is just a little bigger than the one in the bathroom and they give you one bag for each full day of your stay. So check in on Friday and original day of leaving was Monday we were give 2 bags. Not enough if you plan on cooking. All soaps are trial size. My mom is a season VRBO traveler and always packs extra, so we were prepared. Condo was nice and management did reply to our emails. Neighbors who lived there were nice and helpful. Would stay again if in the area.

Just lovely

This is the second time my little family has stayed in this unit and we just love it here. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. Our only issue is that we don't own our ourselves!

No response to tub drain issue

The drain in master bath doesn’t drain. It was almost three inches deep of water as we showered. Dishes in dish washer were not clean. Over all it’s a lovely place.

Great Views, Great Location

Loved our stay. Amazing mountaintop views. Beautiful condo and amenities. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Perfectly located for nearby skiing and Grandfather mountain hiking. We will definitely come back.

Excellent location and accommodations

Great location. Very centric to all there is to do in the area. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. Beds are comfy. Unit is clean and well kept. You can't beat the views.

4 Days on the Mountain!

Very nice! 10 inches of snow fell the day we got there. We wanted to see snow while we were here. The roads were well maintained and despite a winter storm warning travel on the roads was safe. Local residents living in adjacent condos were very friendly. Will definitely go back.

Great snowcation!!!

Condo was in very good condition, everything worked. Great view of mountains. Pool and hot tub area was really nice with the workout equipment and the locker rooms. We skied Appalachian ski resort and beech mountain, both were a short scenic drive away. Banner Elk Cafe is a great little find, we ate there three times, everything was great, you need to try the cafe mocha, best I ever had. Check in and check out with echota was really simple and went flawlessly.
