The house was set up perfectly for a large group of old friends. Beautiful location, beautifully maintained property, and the logistics with Akers Ellis were pretty much flawless.

Beautiful place for large family

This place was perfect for our large family vacation. Beach access was very convenient and having a pool for afternoon entertainment was perfect. This was the most well stocked kitchen we have ever rented. We had an excellent stay and very much enjoyed all the conveniences of Akers Ellis rentals!

Very nice property with lots of room. The back pool patio was a little tight, but that was expected as it showed well on the photos

Super

We just had a wonderful weekend there with 14 adults. I was worried the living area would be tight but it was very spacious. Well equipped kitchen. Great management company which answered many of our questions. Highly recommend this house.

Lovely comfortable home

Very spacious, and clean home. We all enjoyed our stay and were happy to see extra chairs to fit several of us around the dining table. The little sun room was also nice for overflow. We all enjoyed all the bike paths in the area. If we had any issue, it would be not being able to park the cars near the board walks to access the beach.

Kiawah Island Rental Home

We enjoyed staying at the Kiawah Island rental home. It was lovely and perfect for our group. It was centrally located and was a lovely layout. Everyone had plenty of space & the kit h & dining area was large enough for our group. I did have a couple of issues. Is there someone who could reach out to me? Thank you!!

Spectacular Home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is beautifully built, decorated and maintained. There is plenty of room for everything and the layout works perfectly for large groups. The only criticism would be the cleaning company that services the house. We had to move the dining room table and clean up dirt, coins and beer tabs.

Beautiful house, cold pool

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about the house and location was amazing. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were soft and comfortable, everything was spotless. Unfortunately we did pay to heat the pool and that definitely didn’t seem to have happened. Outside of that no complaints.

Good house but disappointed by Akers Ellis

4 story house but elevator remained broken. They worked on it the first day but no more. We paid extra to have pool heated but some furniture at pool was unusable without cushions and it was taking up a lot of deck space. We asked that they get lounge cushions or move the wooden slatted unusable loungers. They lied and said it was the furniture that was pictured but it wasn’t. Claimed they couldn’t move them so we could have enough space for our family to sit so my 60 year old self moved them. For what we paid that was poor customer service. Lauren was helpful.

We are truly sorry to hear of your continued disappointment. After reviewing with our team and the property manager for the home. We can confirm that the elevator is now repaired. Unfortunately, we could not have predicted issues with it during your stay and from our understanding, you opted not to want to have it fixed for fear of someone getting stuck. While the furniture on the patio has indeed changed somewhat since photos were taken, the furniture now present also do not have or require cushions. These are items that we do not keep in stock and our team was unable to obtain for your stay. We are again sorry for the disappointment you experienced throughout your stay, but do feel that we our team did our best to assist throughout your five night stay. We are also pleased that the guests we have had in the home since your stay have not had similar experiences or disappointments to report.

I asked a few questions ahead of time & was given generic answers. I asked What kind of coffee pot does the house have & was told a drip pot. The house had both keurig & drip. I also asked If the house had a pack n play. They referred me to a rental agency. After arriving at the house there was a pack n play in the upstairs bedroom. A few minor issues.

Beautiful home!

Our only complaint was the A/C unit on 2nd floor didn’t cool below 76 degrees, though we had technician out twice. Glad this was not July! Otherwise the home was beautiful, spacious, clean and perfectly located.

Perfect for golf groups

I rented this property to accommodate a group of friends as my house on Kiawah is under renovation. None of them had visited the island before. They all enjoyed both the visit and the lodging. The house has plenty of room and great common spaces.

Wonderful Home

This home was actually more than we expected. It was clean and had plenty of room for our family. The kids Loved the pool. The checkin and checkout process was so easy. Definitely recommend.

Family Vacation

The house was beautiful and exactly as the listing and photos described. We had 4 adult couples, 7 kids and plenty of space. The number of bathrooms made showering up after the beach super convenient, each one with good water pressure and we never lacked for hot water. Two washing machines was a big bonus with lots of kids hitting the pool and beach daily. The location was lovely, less than a 10 minute bike ride to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house renovation and layout is great. We loved the colors, the way the bedrooms and bathrooms were renovated, and spaced out. We had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The house, for the most part, felt new and was well equipped with toiletries, hairdryers, etc.. The furniture is worn and some need replacing. We stayed for almost 2 months and did encounter a lot of issues. Given the pandemic and the situation, the management company was a bit inconsistent at addressing our concerns.
