MountainAir lies in the shadow of the Lionshead rock with beautiful views of Meadow Mountain. Minturn's historic downtown is located less than 100 yards from the Townhouse and provides year-round shopping, dining, bars, and activities. In winter, hop on the free bus to the Vail Village base area for easy skiing access without the hassle of parking. Adventurous, expert skiers can shred back to town via the Minturn Mile, a popular backcountry run accessed from Vail's Game Creek Bowl. Once the snow melts, the area truly comes alive with hiking, fishing, road and mountain biking, hunting, backpacking, whitewater rafting, and much more. MountainAir is less than 1/2 a mile from several trailheads and 5 miles from the Half Moon Trailhead of the iconic Mount of the Holy Cross 14er, making it an ideal launch pad for all of Eagle County’s outdoor adventures. For a fun day trip, drive an hour over the scenic Battle Mountain Pass to explore the historic mining town of Leadville, or travel to Glenwood Springs to bath in the local hotsprings.

Constructed in 2005 in one of Minturn’s newer developments, MountainAir is fully furnished with all the comforts of home. Generous kitchen appliances, dishware, and other amenities mean you can arrive worry-free. Bedrooms and Bathrooms are well stocked with intentional accessories and ample consumbales. Enjoy full cable, high-speed internet, and a large flatscreen TV equipped with a GuestMode Roku so you can log in to your favorite streaming platforms with peace of mind that all credentials are reset upon leaving the unit.

Public transportation serves Minturn, however, it is recommended that guest bring or rent a car for their visit. MountainAir has a one-car garage that can fit a medium SUV (max dimensions, 189" L x 76" W x 68" H) and parking for any size car behind the garage. The garage also has ample storage for your summer camping gear or winter sports equipment..

Enter on the bottom floor to find a thoughtfully designed entryway with large overhead cubbies for wet or dirty gear, shoe racks (please remove shoes indoors), and plenty of coat hooks. This level also houses the first of three well-furnished bedrooms—complete with a full bathroom (tub included) and two comfortable double bunk beds. It’s a great space for kids or extra guests.

Up one flight of stairs, you’ll discover a modern kitchen, a dining area with a large table (seats up to ten), and a cozy living room featuring two couches centered around a gas fireplace. Step onto the adjacent deck for a beautiful view of Meadow Mountain. This floor also has a half bathroom and a closet with a washer and dryer for added convenience.

On the top floor, there are two bedrooms, including the spacious master. Both offer comfortable king-size beds and full bathrooms (the master bath includes a tub), along with vaulted ceilings and skylights. From the master’s desk/workspace, you can see Lionshead Rock, while the neighboring bedroom overlooks Minturn and Meadow Mountain.
