Escape to a peaceful single-family home that sleeps eight in the Smoky Mountains of Maggie Valley, North Carolina. This home has it all: views, trees, a stream, a small waterfall, privacy, easy access, and conveniently located one and a half miles from the Cataloochee ski area. Awaken to the sounds of a rushing stream or sit in rocking chairs on the deck and enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the sounds of the waterfall and birds. This four-bedroom, three full-bathroom home has the following amenities: a fully equipped kitchen with premium stainless steel appliances. Side-by-side refrigerator with automatic ice maker, ice/water dispenser, glass top self-cleaning electric range, quiet dishwasher, microwave, programmable coffeemaker, Keurig K-cup coffee maker, gas barbecue grill, park-style charcoal grill, picnic table, covered outdoor deck-bar and barstools, all cookware and utensils supplied for the gourmet kitchen with upgraded cabinets and granite countertops. The kitchen is also supplied with several small appliances such as a blender, mixer, bread machine, popcorn maker, waffle maker, crockpot, margarita machine, rice cooker, griddle, air fryer and an electric skillet, to name a few. The upper level of this home features hardwood floors, kitchen, two bathrooms, laundry, and two bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a king-size bed, a 42" flat-screen TV, and an electric heater fireplace, bedroom #2 has a queen-size bed and electric heater fireplace. There are two full bathrooms on the upper level with the en suite bathroom having dual shower heads, one is a rain head. Upstairs there is a gas fireplace and a 55" flat-screen TV in the living room. Two sofas with built-in recliners. A dining table seats six-eight (extra 2 chairs in the Alpine room closet) with a kitchen high-top island bar, seating four people. The laundry room has a water-saving LG front-load washer and an energy-saving front-load dryer. The downstairs features 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom with bedroom #3 having a Queen bed and an electric heater fireplace. Bedroom #4 has a King-size bed and an electric heater fireplace The downstairs living area has 2 reclining sofas (4 recline seats) to sit back, relax, and watch your favorite show or DVD on a 55" flat-screen TV after a busy day in the mountains. The lower level includes a second refrigerator, a wine cooler, and a wet bar, with a coffeemaker, microwave, and fully tiled floors. There is an electric heater fireplace in the downstairs living room. For your evening enjoyment, sit by the fire pit on custom-made outdoor furniture or take in the view of the stars from the hot tub or porch swing. Enjoy a game of corn hole, foosball, or horseshoes. There is a second small fire pit next to the creek. Enjoy a seat next to the creek on 3 split-log bench seats. This home has a one-car garage. Starlink internet with WiFi is included. Central air/heat. Linens, towels, hot tub towels, dishes, cookware, and utensils are provided. A port-a-crib and high chair are available on site. Safety gates at the top and bottom of the staircase. We even have a pet bed and pet bowls! Our home is packed with amenities for a vacation to remember. In the winter, a four-wheel drive is suggested due to the unpredictability of the weather. The upper level of our home is wheelchair accessible. **Please note**: Guests are encouraged to preview the required Mountain Creek Cabin Rental Agreement prior to booking. By booking this property, you agree to its terms and conditions. If bringing a pet, there is a $100 non-refundable pet fee. We now have an EV charging port by to the front door (using your cord and adapters). This place is the best! It should be nominated for the best rental cabin in Maggie Valley! We had such a relaxing, rejuvinating stay. This cabin is so nice that it was hard to leave. The waterfall and creeks were amazing.

Absolutely amazing

This property and location was amazing. The cabin is very roomy and gorgeous. Loved the small waterfall right outside and the creek right next to the cabin. Will be staying here again. Definitely recommend!!!

Cabin is beautiful!

This cabin is so nice. It is roomy and has everything you will need. It’s close to Maggie Valley and close to the ski area. It was very clean with comfortable beds and a large kitchen. This was our second stay and we will definitely return.

A week in Maggie Valley

We had a great family vacation in the mountains. The temperature was wonderful compared to summer weather at home. The cabin is fantastic for families, and the covered porch was a favorite hangout spot for everyone.

This house was perfect for us. You can see the beautiful creek from the deck, the kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We'd go back for sure.

Excellent stay all around

Truely loved our stay. The house was impeccably clean, stocked with the proper utensils, and has a simply wonderful stream running through the property. The kids absolutely loved it. Bonus was the property owner communicated exceptionallly well regarding everything we needed to know. We will definitely be back!!!

Awesome in every way

Can't say enough...from the personal call from the owner the week before we went giving suggestions on restaurants to just how beautiful this cabin is...the pictures truly don't do justice to how nice this house is....the location was awesome, we truly enjoyed our stay...will definitely be back

Perfect inside and outside!

Our family stayed here for our spring break. The place is absolutely perfect. You cannot beat the outside with all the places to relax and listen to the creek and waterfall. The inside was clean, and so much more than we expected. Thank you for letting us stay and I would recommend this place to anyone. It’s private and quiet and I wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect Holiday Getaway

We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family to vacation! The kitchen was stocked with everything that you could ever ask for. The cabin was decorated so cute and made you feel like you were at home. The stream was one of our favorite parts. Our kids played out there for hours. We will definitely be going back next year!

Our family loved it! There was room for everyone and all of the games were great.

Absolutely lovely

The house and surroundings were beautiful! Loved hearing the waterfall while on the porch. Loved the creek. Just right for the little one to play in. Wonderful folks to deal with. They answered all our questions and were extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Nothing short of fabulous

This was a perfect home for eight of us, three generations. The creek and waterfalls mesmerized all of us. There is much to see in nearby towns, but you really are entertained enough by the creek if you just want to sit back and relax. The home was immaculately clean and very spacious.

My overall impression of the property is it was a home away from home for 5 days.

Whenever I come back to Maggie Valley, I will stay definitely stay here. Minutes away from the main road, skiing, restaurants and grocery. Asheville is a short drive to enjoy the Biltmore! A personal bucket list. It is nestled in the mountain, private and super cozy. The people are so nice. They are really doing a great job!!! Thank you so very much! Best vacation in a very long time :)

Amazing Mountain Cabin

We had the best time at Kevin's Mountain Creek Cabin. Plenty of room for our group of 7. All appliances, heating, AC, hot tub, etc. were all in perfect working order and we never felt like we were missing anything from home. My kids loved the foosball table as well as the creeks and fire pits. We really couldn't ask for a better location and better cabin for our vacation. Kevin and his wife are great property owners, and always replied immediately to any information request. If we are up in the area again, we will definitely see if this cabin is available.

Great place to stay in the mountains!

We enjoyed staying here for a friends trip of adventures. The grounds are beautiful and some of our group enjoyed listening to the sound of the creek and waterfall while sleeping. The cabin was very spacious and easily accommodated our six-person crew. We all thought the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well supplied. The porch as well as the hot tub was a lovely place to relax. The only criticism is having nowhere to take the trash when checking out on a Sunday and the internet speed was not good. We were able to watch tv without any issues. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Fantastic property in Maggie Valley. The beds were so very comfortable. Plenty of sheets and towels. Great views. Plenty of toiletries and dish soap and trash bags. Theres a blow dryer in the bathroom. Plenty of nightlights and great evening lighting to light your way. Plenty of hangers for clothes. TVs work off of Roku. Plenty of hot water and ac and heat work great. Felt safe. Felt at home. Recommend kleenex for bedrooms a grab bars for showers. Other than that very happy. Go to Maggie Valley Restaurant for fried chicken. Joeys for pancakes. Bogart for steak. Cataloochee Ranch on Wed for best BBQ ever. Bearwater Brewery for wlk/bison burger and pretzels w cheese. Yum. Best service and communication with management/owners.

Ironically, we have already purchased grab bars for the bathtubs and will install them when we go up in October. Good location, has all the facilities needed.

This is a big house with all the ammenities that you need. Location is great just, 1.6 miles from Catalochee Sky slopes. The owners are great people and answered in minutes every question/info needed. The house is clean comfortable and has two levels that make it seem like two properties in one. There is one non positive aspect, it is the quality of the internet, but It is pointed out in the description of the property and it is the result of being Satelite internet. Whould I go back, 100% YES.

Lovely cabin in the valley!

This house was wonderful, I just wish we had been able to stay longer. The beds were comfortable and there was tons of space. The hot tub felt amazing, especially with the sounds of the stream in the background. We would for sure stay here again. The property was absolutly beautiful and the house was stocked with lots of games. My kids loved the giant connect 4 and checkers games. My only complaint, which was very minor, was each bathroom only had one bath towel. There was a note to the house cleaner to leave two, so I do not fault the home owner for this. Luckily there were several more towels in a container next to the hot tub. We'd for sure stay here again!

The home is quite beautiful in a lovely, creek-side area

My parents, fiancé, 4 nieces/nephews and I thoroughly felt at "home away from home". My father called it beautiful (man of little words). The wraparound porch sits right next to the trees and you can see/hear the creek below, so nice to wake up to that. The hot tub, fire pit, loads of board games, dart board, bean bag toss, all these nice extras really sweetened our vacation, and some of us didn't want to change out of our pjs to venture out for the day. Kevin was extremely responsive, attentive and helpful with any questions we had (this is our first vrbo exp). Well-stocked kitchen (we cooked/grilled all weekend, even had a potato masher), with plenty of space for sleeping and lounging. There's a short, quick decline once you're on the cabin road but wasn't a big deal, even in our small Hyundai. So quite a wonderful experience, with family talk of heading back there/Maggie Valley next year -- and they rarely vacation (!)

Best Cabin in Maggie Valley

I’ve rented a lot of VRBO’s and this one was hands down one of the best! We went for Thanksgiving 6adults & 4kids. So much room kids were down stairs playing and adults upstairs. Kitchen was definitely fully-stocked with every gadget, pot, pan, griddle, etc especially to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. Plenty of towels, and hot tub specific towels. It was even decorated for Fall/Thanksgiving. They had fantastic instructions/decor & was very clean. WiFi was great. And the fire pit was amazing that also included firewood. And the sound of the creek was icing on the cake. Only hiccup we had was car trouble and the owner was gracious to allow us to extend our stay. It is recommended 4-wheel drive during winter months incase of snow as the drive-way is steep/gravel/and dark at night. We will be back!!!
