Waterfront one-bedroom studio ocean view suite in Point Pleasant Resort at the waters edge of Water Bay, St Thomas. Queen-size bed and queen-size sleeper sofa together sleep up to 4 persons, fully equipped kitchen down to the knives and forks, steps to one of three swimming pools at the Resort, and within walking distance to one of three beaches. A/C, flat-screen cable TV, CD player, and fiber-optic wi-fi internet in room. Near the Resorts' Sun and Sea Bar and Grill serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. The Resorts' Ocean 180 fine dining restaurant serves gorgeous views and dinner from 5 pm daily (except Monday), an easy walk to the Margaritaville Resort next door at its two restaurants, Coki Beach and Coral World. Hotel amenities include use of three pools, on-property shuttle service, and activities coordinator. A special weekly rate is available for occupancy 7 days or longer. Extra persons are $20 per night each. Tax 12.5% and cleaning is added to the rates. No resort fee/booking fee of 14% is added by the owner, as is typically charged by the hotel. This room rents for $200-350 per night plus taxes and resort fees through the Resort.

This suite is the perfect place for visitors on a budget who will be out exploring all the Virgin Islands has to offer. The combined living areas include a queen size bed, queen sleeper sofa, a flat screen TV, and a CD player with an iphone connector, small indoor dining table with seating for two, and a fully equipped kitchenette for preparing meals during your stay. The large sliding doors allow for natural light and lead to the private patio with a dining table and chairs as well a lounge chair for enjoying the fresh ocean breezes. This villa is steps away from the waterfront pool and the Shoreline Bar and Grill Restaurant. The Mirador fine dining restaurant is located up the hill; an on-property shuttle is available. It is also located a few uphill steps to the lobby and activity center. Parking is located near the entrance of the building and the suite is located two flights down once entering the building.

This hillside resort is nestled on the eastern end of beautiful St. Thomas and boasts amazing ocean views and values for your next Caribbean adventure. Point Pleasant Resort has been offering memorable experiences to guests for over 40 years and includes 3 pools, restaurant, exercise room, tennis, all while being conveniently located to the areas multiple water and land-based activities and attractions.

I am in Florida and will be glad to interact before you go and while you are there. We offer a contactless check in via a lockbox mounted on the villa. Getting Around

Renting a car is encouraged to really explore the island and to get to and from the airport to the Resort. On site parking at the Villa/Resort is free.

Host was extremely responsive. Great restaurant right down the steps from the place. Great pool too. Would recommend walking over to Margarittaville (2 min walk by the water) to call taxis since the apartment is further into the resort and the big taxis have a tough time turning around.

Communication with host was good. Amenities were what we expected. Oven needs a little attention. Restaurant on site was really good. St Thomas is a beautiful island. Scenery is great.

Right next to the water, great view. Steps away from the restaurant so it was very convenient. We loved the close proximity to Coki beach which has excellent snorkeling. The property is safe and close to other main attractions. There was a mix up about our check in, so we didn’t have a clean room until 7pm or so, which was very hard for us on a long travel day. The PM was responsive sporadically, but overall a good stay. He let us stay longer to make up for the bad check in experience. I would recommend this place for those who are going to be out the whole day and eating out (not cooking).I would stay here again because it’s close to Coki beach.

Good location

A small and quaint little apartment. That is everything you need. Good location. Walking distance from restaurants or a short drive to different beaches. Finding the unit might be a little challenging, but overall it's a great stay

Simple, but everything we needed!

This condo was perfect for myself and my husband! It was exactly what we needed! Right on the water, a restaurant on site, multiple pools, a short walk to Coki beach, and beautiful views! I would absolutely stay here again!! The location was excellent! Brook was very helpful and easy to contact!

Overall stay was good.

The maids didn’t clean the room in time for our check in but owner was prompt in contacting cleaner. Maid used same blanket as was on when arrived also.

Bi-fold closet door hanging off hinges. Small areas of blood noted in various places starting from stairs to patio balcony. Obviously someone drunk and staggered back to room. Shower not pictured but seemed in fair condition.

Perfect Place for Two

This is a studio so look at the pictures and understand what you are seeing. We get to St. Thomas every few years and know we are not going to spend alot of time in the room, so a studio is perfect for us. The location is the best spot at point pleasant! The water is RIGHT out the front door, there are no other units between you and the sea. The Sun and Sea Bar and Grill is also just a stones throw away, right on the water, and has the best breakfast on the island! Don't worry, the bar is open late, but it won't keep you up, they are respectful with the music. It's a nice walk on the beach to Margaritaville and just a few more minutes walking to Coki beach. It is also a very short walk down to Sugar beach. Brooke, the owner is great to deal with if there is anything you need or have questions about.

Awful

Walking into these accommodations was like walking into a run down trailer. Depressing, dated and not in good repair. One slider barely moved and we almost couldn’t get it shut (pull with your weight from the bottom) sloppy paint on sagging, dated cabinetry. Paint all over the upholstered seats. No attempt at attractive furnishings. The bathroom door didn’t shut and was beat up and dirty. Dirty light switches that I didn’t want to touch. Old and dated vanity with sloppy paint and cracked tiles. On a high note, they did leave a dirty plunger next to the toilet. It is close to coki beach and a short drive to Red Hook. It did have a decent patio with a nice view. If you’re unlucky enough to be the next renter I left you a nice rose. The room will look better after you drink it.

Sorry you were dissatisfied with the condition of the room, as we’ve never had complaints like this before. Your taste in furnishings is subjective. The room was entirely repainted two months ago. Glad you appreciated the proximity to the pool, restaurant, Coki Beach, and Red Hook.

Rundown smoking unit

We checked in to this unit from another at Point Pleasant. What a disappointment. I knew from the reviews it wasn’t going to be as nice but was not expecting to be hit with such a smoker and stale scent when we arrived. We had to open the slider and leave. The room is very run down and in need of updates. The patio is the best part. We needed to extend our stay at short notice so availability was slim. Know why this unit was still available. You are here for the beaches and sun and fun. So I guess if you’re just sleeping there and don’t mind the smell this might be your pick. Tv wouldn’t work. Tried reaching owner. Said he had wrong number. Could have responded via vrbo. We solved it ourselves( no batteries in remote) Asked if we could drop some food items in fridge early since we were moving from another condo. No response. Loved Point Pleasant resort just not this unit.

Proximity to bar, pool and walkable to Coki

We enjoyed our two nights with great proximity to the bar and pool. Great location very safe, getting on and off property is an adventure much like most of the island.

It was all we needed! The view was amazing! Loved that Coki Beach & Coral World was a short walk away. Didn't spend much time inside. Most evenings were spent on the balcony enjoying the view n sounds after a day of adventures. Cant wait to come back!

Love the view from the porch. Just love waking up seeing the veiw hearimg the water linquest and coki beach are my favorite beaches and are minutes away from The resort. I definitely will b renting and b back prob in 6 months

You get what you pay for

When I chose this property at Point Pleasant I knew it would not be as fancy as most of the other units. This is a basic clean room close to the bar/resturant and lower pool. Be prepared for stairs. More care could have been taken when this unit was painted but I wasn't planning on spending much time there. My main complaint is that the AC is on a 6 hour timer. If you plan on sleeping in, be prepared to get up at least once during the night to give the timer another turn or wake up to no AC. The dresser was broken and filled with linens. For the kind of money the owner is charging for this unit I would expect a bit more.

Excellent location

What a breathtaking view from the balcony! The place was very clean and the linens smelled fresh. Your just a flight of stairs away from the one restaurant and the beach. The restaurant/bar does play there music loud at night but we didn’t mind and if you shut the sliding doors you can’t hear it. The only glitch we had was no hot water in the shower. It was room temperature. The property manager responded and did send someone out. I would stay there again. We went over to margaritaville a lot but didn’t have to pay the high price to sleep there. Plus the restaurant/bar at our resort had better food and prices.

Beautiful resort. Gorgeous view of Smith Bay. Very Steep Location

Beautiful resort with a panoramic view of Smith Bay. Owner was very accommodating when we had to change our dates due to a family emergency. Prospective guests should be aware that the property is EXTREMELY STEEP and can be unsuitable for those with mobility issues. The units are not entirely handicapped accessible. Owner is very cordial and accommodating. Driving here (on the Island and at the Resort) is not for the faint of heart.

Great place and location!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! It was the perfect location from coki beach and red hook! Great view…..Good restaurants option from margaritaville and shoreline grill. Everything we needed was provided for us. Brooke was very helpful and kept great communication. Would definitely recommend!!
