Good: Large apartment. Nice location. Reasonably priced. Large dining table. Huge, party size balcony. Westward sunset view. Washer and dryer in the apartment. Easy check-in and check-out. Responsive property manager.Not so good:Bed linens weren't reassuring of their cleanliness. They weren't white and crisp. Had some off-white blotches. Pillow cases had hairs on them. Cover had lint balls. Posted photos of living and dining area do not reflect reality. Different furniture altogether. Same with the photos of the bedrooms - very different bed linens: lively in the photos, bland in reality.Shortage of plates and mugs. For claiming to sleep 8 it should have more. We were four, and had to borrow some plates from friends.Serious shortage of clothes hangers. Adding 6 more per closet should suffice.I guess it's not required, but I expected to have at least salt and pepper available. First rental without those. Usually there's oil, vinegar, and some other spices/herbs.The labels on the oven knobs have rubbed out completely. Took some time to figure which one turns what, and which position is high/low.TV remotes were missing batteries. Found spare AA-s, but remotes used AAA-s. Didn't need the TV anyway, but was a first as well.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time. The pools were great because of the abundant space. We had other family down here at the same time and they were able to come over for a game night because the livingroom/dining room area was so spacious. Had to call maintenance one time, but he called me right back and was in the unit within an hour! Great place to stay!!

Perfect!

There was a number to call to ncase of emergency or anything and they answered no problem. It was clean enough towels etc. was close to the outlets stores and attractions. Beach walking distance. It was an awesome smooth easy environment place to stay for vacation.

Condo was roomy and comfortable. Pools were huge and exceptionally clean. Just a short walk to the beach. Would recommend!!! Thanks for making our vacation so relaxing! Laura and the Gang.

Something that we liked was the back porch. It was spacious, comfy, and a great spot to sit at night. The apartment was fully equipped—working fans, working A/C, hot and cold water in the bathrooms and kitchen sink. It had good lighting and it came with a washer/dryer and a vacuum. Overall we had a great experience and would book again with the host. Something we thought they could improve was adding more cups in the kitchen for coffee or tea.

Our family of 7 was comfortable throughout our stay and it is in a very good location. Everything we needed was within 10 to 15 minutes in either direction. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The walk to the beach from this unit was very long and there was multiple areas with no ramps for our wagon. Wouldn’t stay here again for that reason.Also the unit sleep up to 8 people and there were only enough dishes for 3-4 people. The patio is way over sized. That space could have been used for the inside. We also requested 2 car passes up front but only received 1 upon arrival. We were then told we had to drive offsite and pay for another one. Very inconvenient!Also, no ice machine at our unit for our cooler.

Close to the Beach

The space was clean and well stocked. The large balcony was a big plus for us. My issue is that the email with check in information incorrectly gives instructions on how to obtain a second parking pass if traveling with more than one vehicle. The location given is incorrect and the actual office that issues extra passes closes at 5pm when check in is at 4. This information would have caused a much less stressful check in experience. Additionally, one of the pools pictured (and the one my family was looking forward to using) was not available for our building to use. It’s a pool for the neighboring condo.

The condo is so open and big! A small drive to get to the main area of destin like the harbor or water parks. it’s great for a family trip and to get away from the big party crowds. More relaxed area

Cute condo short drive to beach

The condo was a good size for our family of 5. We loved that we had a full kitchen with crockpot and griddle so we didn’t need to eat out every meal. Also had a washer and dryer in unit which was nice. We did have to make a store run for T.P., dish soap, tide pods and hand soap which was fine. The kids loved pool. Only 1 of 3 are heated. The beach is a quick 2 minute drive with private parking which extremely nice with 3 kids 5 and under! The condo could use a deep clean and really needs to be painted. You can’t tell in the photos listed but there are dust bunnies lining the kitchen cabinets and there are scuffs all over the walls in every room. Beware…the pretty bright blue furniture in the pictures on the listing is NOT what is actually in the condo. There is a small spinning chair and a very old dingy sea foam green sofa. The rugs throughout are also very worn and dirty and need to be replaced. Nothing that we couldn’t live with for the week but definitely not what was pictured! Also, there is quite a bit of black mold on the patio. I will say, the communication and email responses were very prompt and friendly when I contacted them with questions before our trip. They were quite helpful and checking in went smoothly.

Thanksgiving Trip 2021

We have stayed at Seascape four other times. This is the first tine in this Condo. We were very disappointed. If you are looking for an amazing view, skip this condo. No view at all of the ocean. You can see the pools and the huge building in front of you, blocking the ocean. We had planned on cooking for Thanksgiving but that was a no go. The owner did drop off some additional cooking supplies but not anything that would really assist in a large thanksgiving meal. We had to buy some disposable casserole pans, and a baking pan since they didn’t have any. Bowls are broken causing food to leak out, no pantry so all out snacks had to sit on the counter. The refrigerator has broken drawers and a piece missing on the inside, making it hard to place food in it. Stools to sit at the counter are broken. Condo has mold around the guest bath toilet and tub, more mold in the master bathroom in the ceiling. They have a halo that shuts the water off if it detects a leak. Well 5 times it was shut off and no leak was detected. They had us check and we couldn’t find one. Very frustrating. The air filter was so gross, it looked like it hadn’t been changed in years not months. The owner did come change it after it was brought to his attention. It sleeps 8 with the pull out sofa but only fits 3 comfortably to watch TV in the living room. Huge deck but no table to sit at and eat, did have a small patio set to sit at. The one thing I will say was nice was the king bed. It was very comfy. The unit needs to be deep cleaned, painted the walls were all marked on, damaged and dirty. Some bigger furniture in the living room, and a small TV in the bunk room. We would not be retuning to this unit, we have booked two weeks for Christmas at a different unit in Seascape. We took lots of pictures documenting the mold, and air filter.

Inexpensive and near the beach, but improvements could be made.

The apartment was nice and met most of our expectations. There was plenty of space for 6 people (all adults) to move about the apartment. The beds were all super comfortable and overall the interior of the condo was clean. The amenities offered were nice (Pools, gym, etc.) and the location was really great for spending time at the beach - Miramar Beach was only a 5-7 minute walk or just a 2 minute drive. The balcony was huge, which was great for drinking coffee early in the morning or relaxing in the evening. However, there were some simple things that could have been done to make the stay better, especially in an apartment designed for large families (it supposedly sleeps 8 people). Although there was a massive balcony, there was only seating for 4 people. It means the whole family could not be out there together unless people also were sitting on the not-so-comfortable dining table chairs. This was the same for the living room area, which only had one sofa and a chair (i.e. seating for 4 people). In an apartment designed to hold so many people, it could use a large sectional or more options for sitting together (besides at the dining room table). Additionally, the room with the two bunk beds really would benefit from a table or shelf or a small drawer. Having two adults in there, we had to use the closet space of other rooms and pile our things in other areas of the apartment or on the floor (not great given that you are tracking sand in from the beach) even though we had a separate (albeit small) room. Finally, small conveniences really would make a big difference. There were not enough dishes if you planned to actually use the kitchen for the 6 people. There were no oven mitts or baking sheets, and not enough bowls, glasses, etc. We ended up buying some of our own to make up for it. Also, there were no hooks or clothing racks for hanging bath towels or even beach towels and swimsuits, which seems like it should be a basic element of a beachside condo. In general, the condo was great, especially for the cost and location. However, the stay would have been much more enjoyable with just a few additions and basic items included and/or changes made.

The location was good, and we enjoyed the pool and close proximity to the beach and walking trail. The surfaces were cleaned well, but it looks like it had been awhile since the place has been painted or deep cleaned. We were pleased with the quick response when I contacted the management property, and our issue was resolved right away. Bigger families would need to bring extra bowls and plates if you planned to eat at this rental, as there were only 4 of each. The condo could use a piece or two of comfortable furniture, inside and out. Thankfully we didn’t spend too much time inside. Overall, this was a good place. Good price, good location, and plenty of space for our family.
