Large property with 2nd barn/game house and additional beds

Rent these 5 bed and 3 bath homes weekly or monthly for your vacation. Houses sits on top of a hill and has breath taking views on more than 100 acres of land, amazing sunrises from the master suite and sunsets from the great room. Home has octagon shape great room with open timber frame ceilings and a large open fireplace. Do your grilling indoors with the indoor grill. Large 7 person jacuzzi tub outside the master bedroom. Master bedroom has king size bed with open vaulted ceilings. Interior painting was done by an artist. Radiant heated floors. Parts of the home has central air, remember this is central New York and air conditioning is not really needed. These homes is truly a one of a kind vacation home due to its 50 mile plus mountain views in almost the 360 degree. There are great sledding hills for the kids. Leather sectional couch and swivel chairs with power recliners and USB plugs on side of couch in great room. Love seat, futon couch and chair in studio.

Note: 2nd HOME RED HOUSE NOW INCLUDED. House has a game room with beautiful open ceilings. Includes full kitchen, living room, laundry and bathroom. Has ping pong and 7 foot pool table. Red House has radiant floor heat and air condition on both floors. Contact owner for more information. The red house sits right next to the main house.

Visit Glimmerglass state park for hiking trails, snow tubing etc. Beach with a big lake make this an awesome place only 15 minutes from the house.

The property was very nice, large enough to accommodate a family gathering, and in a beautiful location. Well appointed kitchen was great for preparing family dinners for everyone.You may want to consider the weather when booking during the winter months. The driveway is long and steep, and if anyone in our party did not have 4WD then they would not have made it to the house (and walking up the hill would have been dangerous due to excessive ice). We requested more icemelt/salt from Amos while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive, and he sent someone out to treat the driveway near the house. Without this it would have been tricky to walk back and forth between the two buildings.

The massive living area was perfect for a large family get together. The rooms were laid out perfectly for privacy. The view, no matter what window one looked out, was stunning. Amos, the host, was quick to reply to questions. We had a wonderful stay

This was a wonderful place to stay, gorgeous location on a hilltop overlooking pastures with wild turkey and deer roaming by. Loved our stay. Only "complaint" was master bathroom never could get it to truly run anything approaching hot water, all my showers were below and approaching luke warm, I lived, but I would recommend a hot water pump if the hot water heaters are too far away. This would have bothered me far more if I had stayed in the winter than in the heat.One suggestion I would make to the owner. You have a wonderful movie projector room and DVD or blu-ray player. Stock a small collection of relatively recent films as an option to take advantage of it, or even reach out to renters and recommend they bring theirs. Would have loved to do a movie night but unless something was starting on the limited DirectTV channels it didn't work out. Alternatively, having almost any smart device there that a family could use to login in to their own netflix account would be a great, an apple TV or Roku etc. Other VRBOs I have stayed in have these options but none has had a better Movie room. Not a complaint, but could make the place even nicer.The place is HUGE by the way, I mean the pictures don't do it justice but it is definitely a place where a much larger group than ours would be plenty comfortable. Wonderful place to stay, would highly recommend... but bring your favorite DVDs.

Guys trip 2025

Hands down the best house/property we have stayed at for our trip. Overall great space where 6 people could spread out, having 2 separate living quarters was huge. Space was great, amenities were great and location was perfect. What a view!! Only concern would be the lack of AC in the main living room/kitchen and main bedroom. One part of the house was cool, the other was warm. All the windows in the living room were great, blinds would have helped keep the heat out. The main bedroom was in high 70’s, low 80’s temp wise, even a portable AC unit would have helped. Honestly though we had a great time, loved the place, already decided we are coming back next year! Thanks for everything!

Wonderful getaway! Great host!

This property was perfect for our 2-family vacation. Plenty of room and space for everyone and the views were magnificent! Amos was an outstanding host. We lost power one morning after some storms with the fridges full of groceries and Amos was there within minutes setting up a generator for us! We loved the spacious, well equipped kitchen and great room and really enjoyed the hot tub and firepit- made lasting memories!

Cooperstown Baseball 2025

We stayed here while our boys played in Cooperstown. Even with the 30/35 minute drive I would stay here again. The views are amazing.

Perfect setting for an outdoor wedding

My husband and I booked this property for our wedding weekend and wedding reception. There was an event fee, which was very reasonable.The host was very accommodating when we needed to set up and take down the tent due to rain. If we had any questions, the host was quick to respond. The houses had everything we needed and were very well-maintained and clean. The views on the property are amazing!! Everyone at the reception raved over how beautiful the setting was. We can’t wait to see the pictures! Also, having two separate houses was perfect for getting ready the morning of the wedding and the game room was great. We had an amazing weekend with all of our friends and family. Definitely recommend booking this property!

Perfect place to relax

The views and accommodations will have you coming back time and time again. It was so easy to check and speak to the host if we need to. You have everything you need here. The house was clean and secure. The hot water and water pressure were perfect for relaxing showers and the hot tub was also a great way to enjoy the incredible views. I can't wait to go back. Fantastic views and spaces!

The numerous windows allowed us to enjoy breathtaking views from nearly every room! There were plenty of bedrooms to spread out, and the great room was big enough we didnt feel crowded even when we were all together. The Barn House allowed night owls a space to hang out without disturbing/ delaying bedtime for the little ones. Great stay! ones.

Extraordinary Property and Stay

This VRBO exceeded our expectation! The home(s) had everything we needed. Comfy beds, beautiful and comfortable shared living spaces, well equipped kitchen, hot tub. But the view was the highlight for us - STUNNING!! We enjoyed daylight hours enjoying the unending view and beautiful fall colors. The nights had us around the firepit and under the stars. We even had a rare view of the Northern Lights! We definitely hope to return.

Amazing Property in the Cooperstown Area!!

We stayed here for 4 nights for a 15U baseball tournament in Cooperstown. The views from this property are unbelievable. One night we sat around the fire pit and watched fireworks from off in the distance down in the valleys below. The house had absolutely everything we needed for our stay and more than enough room to accommodate three families for the weekend. The kids loved the game house with the pool table and ping pong. Each night they would play flashlight tag while the parents enjoyed hanging out in the great room or the movie room. During our stay it was unusually hot for central Nee York, but there were plenty of fans and enough breeze in the rooms that were not air conditioned. I cannot recommend this property enough if you are looking for a well appointed, beautiful home in the Cherry Valley/Cooperstown area!! The views alone are worth the stay!!

Family vacation

This place is beautiful!! The views are incredible and the yard is huge with lots of room to play games and sit around the fire pit at night. The houses have everything you need. Just bring food and beverages! There are hay fields surrounding the property and we were able to watch the hay get cut, fluffed and then rolled. It was fascinating to watch. Hot tub was perfect! Amos is a great host and we will most definitely come back again!!

We purchased this home after family from the area called to let us know this beautiful amazing designed home was for sale. The house sits on the large 123 acre lot and is set up to view the amazing sunrises from the Master suite and then see the sunsets from the octagon shape great room.

Property sits back far off the road with long curved driveway. The views and the house are just one of a kind for a vacation getaway, or to have your wedding. Large screen 8 feet plus screen\projector tv with sound system. DVD and cd player. Master bedroom porch has 20 mile views with 7 person hot tub. All new furniture in studio and great room make it for a very comfortable place to relax and getaway.
