"A Heavenly View"

West Jefferson, NC - Look no further for your next heavenly getaway, it's at "A Heavenly View"! This luxurious chalet style log cabin is situated only five minutes from West Jefferson in a private location that offers panoramic long-range views.
For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.

Inside you will find an open floor plan with a great room that includes vaulted ceilings, leather seating, a stone fireplace, central heat and air, satellite TV, dining area and modern kitchen. The cabin also offers 2 master suites each with king beds and private bathrooms. One located on the main floor with private access to the porch, picnic area and hot tub.

The other master suite is located on the second floor alongside an open loft that serves as another bedroom with a daybed and trundle with vaulted ceilings and windows that can be used to enjoy the heavenly views.

A Heavenly View, Absolute High, Bluff Mountain Retreat, Picture Perfect and Rest Assured are all located in the same neighborhood, offering lodging for family reunions, church gatherings and corporate retreats.

Note: Pets allowed with a $75 per stay per pet. Airbnb/VRBO will only automatically charge one pet. The host will add an additional $75 for each pet if you are bringing more than one pet.

The view was heavenly!!!! Not sure why I had to call property management before ck-in and couldn’t rely solely on emails or texts? I vow this as an unnecessary step. There were no soap bottles in the shower or soap bars. Only one washcloth in the upstairs bathroom and only two in the downstairs. Sorry to say, but there was a faint urine smell in the master bedroom on the right side of the bed facing the wall. Could not figure out where it was coming from. Would have loved to have had a cozy blanket and a working fireplace to enjoy our first night in.

In some cases, a quick call is required to ensure all arrival details are confirmed and to help prevent any issues accessing the property, but we appreciate your perspective and will review how we can make this more seamless. Regarding the amenities, we do provide small starter soaps, but we’re sorry if that wasn’t clear or didn’t meet your expectations. We also apologize for the limited number of washcloths—this is something we’re addressing with our team to ensure adequate supplies for every stay. The odor you mentioned in the bedroom is certainly not acceptable, and we are looking into this with our cleaning team to identify and resolve the source immediately. As for the fireplace and extra blankets, we’re sorry that impacted your first night. Had we heard from you during your stay, we would have gladly worked to address these concerns right away and make your stay more comfortable. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention so we can continue improving for future guests.

The house was perfect! Clean with everything we needed. The views magnificent! The weather was rainy and cold most of the week but that did not bother us at all. Sat in front of the fireplace and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Enjoyed the firepit when not raining. Would definitely recommend this home and will likely stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: Great cabin with an incredible view and very close to the town center of West Jefferson, which is a very nice NC mountain town that has a lot to offer. Although there are other houses close by, the location is very private. Just FYI, if you are in the downstairs bedroom, you can hear any and all movements from guests in the upstairs bedroom just above. Also, the paved road to the cabin becomes very steep, so bringing a 4 wheel drive car would be a good idea.

Beautiful winter stay

The property was just as expected. It was the perfect cozy winter getaway for my husband’s birthday. There were Christmas decorations up and on when we arrived. The property included everything we needed.

Didn’t disappoint

My husband and stayed here for our anniversary. Our experience was phenomenal. The cabin was private yet 5-10 minutes away from the grocery store and downtown west Jefferson. It rained the first 2 1/2 days of our trip and it didn’t matter it was still perfect. The hot tub gave a front row seat to the breathtaking views. This is definitely one of our favorite locations and will return.

Beautiful View and Cozy Cabin

We had a great stay at "A Heavenly View." The view was beautiful, especially from the side porch. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and the using the firepit. The host was very responsive and always helpful. We would stay here again.

School break vacation

Property was clean, easy to find, close to area restaurants, beautiful view, easy made reservations, great communications, all amenities in cabin were in excellent working order, and our stay was very pleasant. Would definitely do again.

Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our stay and loved the views from the house. We took our two small dogs for a hike at Mount Jefferson State Natural Area and on the Greenway in Boone and visited Blowing Rock. The foliage there was beautiful. We also enjoyed a couple of restaurants in West Jefferson during our stay. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant.
