LBI Family Beach House, 4th from Ocean beach, Comfortable and Well-Maintained

Our vacation home is located just 4 houses from the beautiful and relaxing, sandy ocean beach on Long Beach Island.
The beach house is comfortably neat and clean, fully furnished and well-maintained. It is a duplex with each unit consisting of 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. This listing is for the FIRST FLOOR unit, though with sufficient advance planning, it's possible to rent both floors to sleep up to 16 people.
The house has central air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room. Our kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, mixer, plates, cups, utensils, pot & pans, wine and margarita glasses, etc. We have a washing machine, flat screen TV with DVD player, cable TV service with expanded channel selection, free wireless internet, and a nice selection of books, DVDs, puzzles and games for your enjoyment. The back yard includes a large Weber gas grill, picnic table with table umbrella, and outdoor furniture. The outdoor shower is great for rinsing off that beach sand. We provide 2 beach chairs and 5 beach badges. (Badges not required for children under 12 years of age.)
Bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and two sets of twin beds. There is also a queen sofa bed in the living room. Guests provide their own towels and bed linens. There is off-street parking for 2 cars.
We are located within easy walking distance of the Acme supermarket and Skipper Dipper ice cream parlor. It's only minutes to Fantasy Island amusement park, mini-golf, wonderful restaurants and interesting local shops.

We enjoyed ALL aspects of our stay in this (1st floor) property; the home, the location & communication w/owner was GREAT! However (and I'm sorry to say "however"), although the home has a washer, there is no dryer. I guess I missed that detail in the property description. We found a laundromat the morning after a storm to dry all of the towels on the line. A washer/dryer is important, especially with kids in the house. All in all, it was a fabulous week on LBI!

Perfect Beach House

House was absolutely perfect. My parents and siblings rented a house around the corner which was technically the same house (same model) but that’s where the comparison ended. This house was so much nicer, they only used their house to sleep, and we all just spent all our time together here. The owners anticipated and provided for every possible need. I did think the double bed was not the most comfortable, but I was so tired at the end of every day that I slept like a log anyway. The central A/C broke the week prior to our stay and the owner emailed me to let me know and to tell me she installed 3 window units. I was a little worried about this but it turned out fine. On the whole I loved the house and would definitely rent again if we return to LBI

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful beach house. Good weather great location

Overall thisnisbthe best house we have stayed in yet! So clean and proximity to the beach is ideal. We would love to rentbit again next year. The only downfall is no dryer...we hung out towels on the line but they were still damp from the humidity. I took the clothes I washed to my friends house and dried them there. Otherwise everything was perfect!

We stayed there for 7 days. The house was clean and neat. The pictures of the house on line were accurate. The bedrooms were tiny but I didn't expect anything more. The beach was so close... and the best part that the ice cream store and acne store were short walking distance! Overall I liked the house and wound recommend it to my friends. The bonus was the various games in the house that we played on the rainy day.

Great vacation rental home!

4 houses from the beach. Very clean and comfortable layout. Stock full of cleaning and paper supplies and spices. Outdoor garden area lovely. Even tomatoes! Drawback was 1 bath, however, there is nice layout in outside shower that we used. The central air is even in the 1 bath... places we stayed before never had that and kept things nice and dry. Owners are great to deal with. We were 8 people from ages 3 to 61! We will be back. Thank you so much. Close to market and Skipper Dipper! Beautiful beach! Highly recommend!

Clean & comfortable home! Central air worked beautifully. Beds comfortable.

A wonderful beach house for a family vacation! Only half block to an easily accessed beach-not too wide so the walk not bad. House has everything you could need. Fully stocked kitchen with nice quality pots & dishware. Central air works well. The backyard is large & has plenty of seating for large families. Gas BBQ clean & a nice outdoor shower. Lovely gardens as well. Close proximity to great restaurants & shops. This was our 9th year at LBI & this was our best rental yet. You can tell the family takes great care of their property. Looking forward to returning to this lovely home!

Best Beach House

We spent a week in August in this beautiful home. I can't stress how clean and well stocked it is. Everything you would want or need is provided. The owners really put a lot of thought into this vacation home.The house is spotless. We also enjoyed how close it is to the beach. We used the bbq in the backyard and tables provided. We walked to the ice cream shop and supermarket. The neighborhood is very clean and friendly. I would highly recommend this house. We are looking forward to staying here again next year!

First timers in LBI

What a great vacation we had in LBI! No reason to drive all-the-way-to Sunset Beach for a fun filled family vacation. Our kids loved it too! We'll be back! The house, Ruth so warmly decorated, we loved... so close to the beach, so welcoming. Our children loved the puzzle games, the domino, the books... We plan to come back. Thank you, Ruth

We have been coming to LBI for years. This house is in a perfect location, 4 houses form the beach and a block from the Acme and Skipper Dipper! The house is quiet and very comfortable with more than enough room for our family and our kids friends too. We enjoyed the backyard grill and picnic tables. This house was spotless and so clean you can tell the owners really care about it and their guests. The amenities were numerous. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful stay on LBI

We love beautiful Long Beach Island. The beach was perfect and, even though the ocean water temperature was cool, my 86 year old father was in the water almost every day. The house was very comfortable, clean and well furnished. We enjoyed several books and games from your collection. We noticed the attractive new railings and bathroom shelving, always interested to see the improvements you make to the house each year. The wireless internet worked great. Thanks for providing the paper products, plastic bags and wraps. We visited the shops in Beach Haven, played miniature golf, toured Barnegat Lighthouse and climbed to the top for great views. We also drove to Atlantic city one day for the boardwalk and casinos. We'll definitely come back again.

We chose to buy this property because we have always loved Long Beach Island, having vacationed here for many years. The beach is close and there are no streets to cross. The house is quiet, being far enough away from the busy Long Beach Island Boulevard and yet convenient to the Acme food store and Skipper Dipper ice cream parlor! With three bedrooms on each floor, there's plenty of room for family.
