This home is absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous ocean views and lots of outdoor space to sit and enjoy it. Immaculately clean and pristine with everything we needed for our stay. Walking distance to town for coffee, dinner, etc. Kristin was very responsive for our questions too. We would highly recommend Kristin’s Summerland retreat!

We had such an incredible stay at this beautiful home. It was spotless when we arrived and even better than the pictures. Every detail of the house has been attended to, the furnishings and decor are perfect, the view is astounding. Truly one of the best vrbos we have ever experienced…

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. The property was exactly as pictured, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The outdoor sitting area with its beautiful ocean view was a real highlight for us and a perfect place to relax. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which made the stay especially enjoyable. Everything was easy and the home had everything we needed. An easy five stars.

Kristin, our host was very responsive and friendly. The property was beautifully designed and well-maintained. Our group of 5 adults had a wonderful time. Kristin also gave us many suggestions for places to go for shopping, food and other leisure activities.We would definitely go back on another vacation.If I were to give a grade, it would be A !!

My siblings and I do an annual trip to Santa Barbara with our kids to visit our Dad for his birthday. Over the years we have rented various houses for our family. Tesoro was by far the best house we have rented in the area. The host was incredible. Always available to answer questions. The house is immaculate and very well appointed. The bunk bed room was perfect for our kids to share. The ocean views from the house are spectacular. I cannot recommend this house highly enough!

As you have read in the reviews, the host Kristin was as good as they come - extremely accommodating in every way, immediately responsive, and helpful with anything you could possibly need.But I do not believe you have read how she has completely redone this entire home. I didn’t know I would be renting basically a brand new home. Every detail has been built, remodeled and decorated not as home for a rental but for the owner’s home. Top quality in everything imaginable and in beautiful taste. I stay in exclusive vacation rentals all over the world and this one is clearly a step above the others. We felt like we were at home the minute we walked in the door and kept finding new pieces of art and paintings all over the house - and outside also.There are 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths downstairs, large laundry room, amazing large brand new kitchen, brand new from top to bottom. The upstairs is for the owner’s use but there is so much space that you forget there even is an upstairs.It is in the charming town of Summerland next door to Montecito and Santa Barbara, both 5-15 minutes away. The freeway is 5 minutes to the house to get everywhere.The house is at the top of a hill. Walk down the hill and you are in town. Walking back up if you are in good shape but maybe a three minute drive.Barbq, seating, fire pit, fruit trees and very nice landscaping all around the house.Beautiful views of the ocean one way and the mountains the other.A home you will never forget.

Home away from Home!

We had a lovely stay and felt very at home! Kristin was easy to communicate with and very responsible. Will definitely stay again! The views and her succulent gardens are amazing!

Beautiful Summerland Property

Such a perfect place to get away from it all; the outdoor space is amazing (succulent envy). Kristin's itinerary tips were very helpful and she was such a responsive host.

Quintessential Weekend Getaway

Four sisters convened in Summerland for a reunion. This home has striking views and provides all the necessities for a spectacular stay. Great location with close access to wine tasting in Ojai, dining in Santa Barbara, and lovely shops in walkable Summerland.

Family trip to Santa Barbara

We couldn’t have picked a better location or home for our family stay from the Pacific NW. The shops in Summerland and beach were a short walk and downtown Santa Barbara a short drive. Loved the outdoor space. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Clean and Easy!

I stayed here on a girls trip and had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and Kristin was incredibly responsive throughout our entire stay, a answering all my questions and giving us great recommendations. I would definitely come back!

Beautiful Home

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kristin’s home. Our family of 5 had ample space and the amenities provided were perfect. The home is beautifully decorated and the outdoor space feels like a tranquil escape! Would definitely go back!

The house was a perfect addition to a girls weekend.

The views were amazing, the neighborhood was quiet and very safe. The Main Street was like a scene out of a movie. The house was cozy and spacious. It was just tge cherry on top of a great weekend get away with friends.

Summerland

The home served as a good location for us to have a family vacation around Santa Barbara. There is a nice playground for young kids at the bottom of the hill and across the freeway that really helped us get their wiggles out.

Great Beach Retreat

Lovely Summerland home with sweeping oceans views to the Channel Islands. We were there with family and loved the house, neighborhood and views. Easy access to Santa Barbara and the wine country. Kristin made the whole process seamless. We plan on returning next year.

Great Trip!

We had a great stay in Santa Barbara and Kristin’s house was perfect for our family of 6. The house was clean, had a great view, and her garden was absolutely beautiful. Downtown summerland was about a 5-10 minute walk from the house (we had coffee every morning downtown :) . Thanks for hosting us and we will be back!

Gorgeous hillside home with a spectacular view

Kristin is a great host. She provides an excellent information packet and is quick to answer any questions. Her home is exceptionally clean and the artwork and furnishings are top notch. Like staying at the Ritz, except better, with views of the mountains and ocean.

Beautiful, charming, immaculate, convenient!

Charming, beautifully decorated home with GORGEOUS view and tons of amenities! Lovely outdoor space with grassy area, beautiful flowers and trees, and loads of places to sit and enjoy the view. Excellent communication from host and very accommodating. Welcome letter and instructions were super clear. Super easy access to beach and restaurants. Highly recommended!

We push ourselves and our kids to excel in our work, so we cherish our vacation time together, when we can put obligations aside and just eat, sleep, and laugh.

We are a Northern California extended family with ties to the Santa Barbara area. We found this perfect spot in Summerland, so we jumped in. This property is unusually large for the area...1/3 of an acre, so we think we're pretty lucky to have it. We get down here quite often, and our family converges here for easy days and nights. Our mother grew up in Orange, where her father owned and ran the local grocery store, Thompson's Market. She's not here any more, but we know she loves that we have a place in her beloved SoCal. She would really LOVE just sitting on the patio with a cup of tea and the ocean...

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

As mentioned in the description, this place just feels good. It has a kind of serenity that is hard to find, and you can feel it when you walk in. I think the high ceilings combined with warm, comfortable furnishings give you an ensconced feeling: that you are safe and sound. It also feels very private, as there are really no spots where neighbors are nearby looking in. It's an oasis. With an ocean view. Can't beat that.
