Beautiful location with easy water access. We launched our paddle boards and it was a quick 30 min paddle to 3 Sisters. Clean home and excellent host response when we lost power in a storm. Will definitely return.

Everything was very clean and we liked the location. Disappointed in condition of kayaks. The seats were broken and one had a lot of duct tape on the front so we ended up having to rent kayaks.

From the owner: "Thank you for the great review and for appreciating the cleanliness and location! We’re sorry the kayaks caused any confusion. They’re just three years old and were used by us without any issues the day before your arrival. The seats have adjustable straps that can be customized for comfort, and we’ll leave better instructions going forward. The small duct tape patch covers a tiny hole where a drain plug is missing. It’s purely there to keep water out and actually helps with the stability of the kayak. Nothing is broken! We hope you and the family enjoyed the fishing poles and the dock, and we’d love to host you again. Thank you for staying with us!”

The host was great. There was a minor issue upon arrival and the host get it fixed immediately ! No other issues the rest of our visit. Loved the access to launch kayaks and the paddle to King Springs was minutes. We were able to experience the manatees in a less crowded spot The host proved kayaks were also appreciated.

As soon as you let us know that you needed the trundle bed in the office and noticed the sheets weren’t in place, we immediately contacted our cleaning team and Vanessa came right over to take care of it for you. Although I happened to be away on an anniversary trip at the time, your easy communication made it simple to have everything resolved while you were out enjoying dinner. We’re so glad you were able to experience the manatees at King Springs in such a peaceful setting, and that the kayaks added to your adventure! Your kind words about Vanessa mean a great deal — she truly goes above and beyond. We hope to welcome you back to Crystal River again soon!

Family Fun

We really enjoyed our stay. We took full advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks and were able to get on the water multiple times to see the manatees. The house was as described and was a great setup for our family including our 2 year old and grandma.

Blue Bungalow

A cute blue and yellow bungalow! We appreciated the cleanliness, separate bathrooms, and hostess treats. The access to kayaks and paddle boards was fun! A short roll to the bay finger and easy paddle to Kings Bay where we saw manatees! Overall great stay!

We had a great time! The house was perfect for our time here. Very clean and cute! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We used the boat ramp two streets over with no problems at all! We cooked dinners and they had everything we needed (pans/utensils etc. and even a few extras!) Beds were super comfy!! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Nice location

We stayed 2 nights, it is a very nice neighborhood, 3 min drive from where we went snorkeling with manatees, and from Hunter Spring Park. My only remark is that picture of the dock gives a wrong impression as if it is located at the back yard of the property, which isn't true. There is a walking distance to the dock and water, so we couldn't really enjoy the kayaks that the property offer.

We stayed at this lovely house for 7 days in March.The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. You walk into the house through a screened porch with lights and a portable fan. We had breakfast every morning here. As you walk into the house, the first bedroom is to the left (day bed with a trundle) The kitchen/family room is cozy and very inviting. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything I needed to prepare meals. The family room space had very comfy chairs and a couch with a TV. Next bedroom is to the left of the kitchen (queen bed) with a full bathroom in the hall. The final bedroom (queen bed) is behind the kitchen with an attached bathroom/shower. All rooms had air conditioning and wardrobes for clothing. There was a second screened porch that opened to the backyard/firepit area. This area was fitted with string lights. The kayaks/paddle boards were stored outside and paddles and life jackets were kept on the porch. We kayaked most mornings and saw a few manatee! The host provided a cart to transport the kayaks to the dock, which is a short walk away from the house. It was very easy to launch from the dock area and it took us middle agers about 50 minutes to get to the Pete's pier/Hunter Springs area from the house via kayak. House is central to everything in the area. There is close shopping for groceries and lots a lovely restaurants. The gulf is about 15-20 minutes away by car.Host was kind and responsive. Highly recommend!

Mornings on the screened porch with breakfast sounds like the perfect way to start a day, and we love hearing that the kayaks got put to good use! Spotting manatees is always such a special treat — that never gets old! 🐟 It’s great to know the kitchen had everything you needed and that the space felt cozy and inviting. We put a lot of care into making sure guests have everything they need to feel comfortable, so that means a lot. We hope Crystal River’s charm pulled you in as much as it does us — the springs, Pete’s Pier, and the Gulf are some of our favorite things about the area. We’d love to have you back anytime. Had so much fun here!

My family went down for three nights with the express purpose of kayaking and swimming with the manatees. This house checked all the boxes since the kayaks were included. Yes you do have to walk the kayaks down the street to put in at the dock but once in the water, it only took about 10 minutes of paddling to get to a manatee viewing area at an island. We had the most amazing experience there! It was only my family of four and a manatee we nicknamed Jeremiah. He popped up from the bottom about a foot away from my right flank! It scared me at first but after giving him some space, he hung out with us for about 20 minutes before Going back to the bottom. If you’re wanting to kayak to Three sisters springs, it’s about 30-40ish minutes of casual paddling. This area is beautiful and totally worth the trip. RENT WETSUITS! We found them for about 20 a day per person and they were worth it. 72 in the springs sounds nice but during manatee season, the air temps are cool. While we were there it was 45-70 every day. The house has everything you need to stay there comfortably for a few days- sample shampoo/conditioner, laundry pods, extra paper towels and TP, even some niceties such as popcorn and hot chocolate. It was nice being able to bring our dogs with us and not board them. No animals are allowed in the furniture so we brought our kennel with us . A determined dog could def escape the fence on some areas so we always supervised them outdoors. This house is still a great place!

This place is awesome!

We loved this charming home ! It is a supercool spot. The host was very accommodating and helpful. The location is fantastic and the setting is perfect. We especially enjoyed hanging on the screened in porch and using the kayaks. 4 stars - no complaints. We will happily come back in the future!

Scalloping Crystal River FL

We did enjoy the location and our stay in that area the only disappointment was, we are in Florida and there were only 2 window air conditioning units for the whole house that were not on upon arrival (90 out) so it took a long time to cool the house off

We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: Hi Christine, the cleaning crew had just finished cleaning the house just prior to your check-in and they must have turned the AC off. I always have it on and the house cool upon a guest's arrival. The house is 900sq ft and the AC's cover 1600 SQ ft so they are very efficient and cool the house very quickly. I'm sure you also found the brand new room fans we placed for extra comfort. I'm so glad you enjoyed your time in Crystal River at our cottage.

Weekend getaway

Place was cute, clean and great location. Only drawback was the ac, just 2 wall units. It was pretty hot when we first got there but cooled down so no one was miserable. Ceiling fans and regular fans helped keep the air cirxulating.

Great Place

We had a great vacation here with friends! Plenty of room, lots of unexpected amenities like soaps in bathrooms, spices in the kitchen and dog beds for our pets! We loved being able to use the boat dock, made getting on the water fast and easy. We would definitely stay again at this place!
