*Kauai is open and welcoming visitors as our island continues to recover from Hurricane Lowell. Guests may see ongoing repairs, roadwork, and temporary closures around the island as our community continues to rebuild. Please come with Aloha, be patient, respect posted closures and give local crews and residents plenty of space. *

Sealodge E-5 is a lovely, oceanfront condominium surrounded by lush, tropical foliage and a well manicured landscape. Its location near the edge of a bluff above the coastline offers guests dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean.

Throughout the year, you may see playful dolphins having fun in the water and, during winter months, this is a perfect place to watch for awesome humpback whales playing off shore. This is a peaceful location with no condos below or above.

Relax on your private lanai amid gentle breezes and take in the panoramic vista of swaying palm trees against an expansive ocean backdrop. In the distance, you can see Kilauea Lighthouse and Mokuaeae Island to the south and Haena Point to the north.

You are truly in a tropical paradise. Relax poolside at the shared saltwater swimming pool.

There is a nice variety of restaurants and cafes right in Princeville and the neighboring town of Hanalei just a short drive away. Tempting menus offer fresh seafood, local produce and regional cuisine as well as more traditional choices.

Activities nearby include seasonal swimming, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, windsurfing, horseback riding, hiking, shopping and golf.

Please be advised, the trail to Sealodge Beach is steep and challenging. The trail gets muddy and slippery and can become dangerous. We recommend swimming at lifeguarded beaches.

Management was extremely helpful and responsive. Check in and out was well explained. If I had anything negative to say....and this is really minimal, I wish there had been some food storage containers. A few containers would have been really useful.

Beautiful ocean view location

First visit to Kauai to visit our son and his girlfriend and and this unit was the perfect size for family visits, cooking, and several sleepovers. Pleasant decor and well located for great hikes, beach visits, and village cafes.

Great place and the north shore is by far the most beautiful. Accommodation was perfect but would benefit from an update and refresh. Certainly nothing that affected our holiday.

Cozy condo with amazing views!

We loved every minute of our stay in Kauai at the Sealodge condo! The Princeville location was ideal for accessing excellent beaches, Hanalei shops, and the disc golf course. Waking up every morning to such a beautiful view was an added bonus. Communication with the rental company was great and even though we arrived late at night, check-in and finding the property was easy. We would definitely stay here again!

PARADISE!

Wow. The view/lanai and the apartment ended up being above our expectations. Stayed here for five days, and found ourselves having breakfast and dinner out on the lanai each day. Just the two of us this time, but kept saying how perfect this spot would be with 1-2 kids in the upstairs area! Absolutely enjoyed our stay!

The ocean view was spectacular as advertised. large screened sliding windows and door allowed for wonderful cooling breezes, combined with the ceiling fans in living room and bedroom providing perfect temperature. Was wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing just below us. The bed was very comfortable and lots of extra pillows were provided. Although the unit showed typical wear and tear of older oceanfront buildings ( sticky/rusty sliding door track and weathered lanai furniture), it was very clean and well maintained with impressive new appliances, and well stocked with cookware, glasses, plates and cups.Our interaction with the management company was 5 star from initial emails and follow up phone calls to a late night call to their emergency on call number on arrival when I was unable to work the keypad on the entry door. The call was answered immediately by an extremely pleasant woman who talked me through the process with good humor, seemingly unbothered by the fact that it was nearly midnight and clearly a case of operator error! Would definitely recommend this unit, and hope to stay there again.

Great stay in Princeville!

We loved the location and view, as well as the amazing management company, but. Felt it was a bit more dated than the photos led us to believe, and would benefit from replacing the carpets with either laminate or vinyl flooring. Overall very pleased with the experience!

Gorgeous view

apartment, could need a bit of maintenance and renovation, view and quietness is great, big kitchen but no basic food as salt and pepper, coffee and a water as a welcome provided. Curtains and Security poles at the Windows are mold.

Reviewer Comments: Great place in a nice location with stunning views, the property doesn’t have AC but it’s very well ventilated :)Place offers a lot of things to use on the beach like an umbrella, chairs, cooler, etc. There is a washing and drying machine, equipped kitchen and they provide mostly all the needed stuff, only missed shampoo :(Checking process was great, even though they didn’t answer my check out request, all the communication was clear. I defiently would recommend.

It is literally at the edge of the cliff! Wonderful ocean breezes kept us comfortable day and night. The unit is nicely appointed, kitchen well equipped for cooking at home, which we did each night. The rental agency staff were very helpful. Check in and out we’re super easy and efficient. We can’t wait to come back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is spectacular. We enjoyed listening to the surf below our window while falling asleep. It's nice to have a private beach. (Make sure you get directions to the beach, the path is misleading). The property management team was very supportive when we had concerns about the property. This condo was the least expensive oceanfront unit in Princeville, and we found out why. Hopefully the owner has acted on our suggestions before it's rented again.
