Loved Our Stay

This was a great property. Our family frequents Champions Gate almost annually because we have such amazing experiences. This property was on par: clean, convenient location, and the property manager had great communication. We would stay here again.

Pool home close to the parks

If you are looking to be near the Disney parks and want to be able to have your family in the same home, then this would be a great home for you. We love that the family can all have a room and also we can enjoy the pool. This area is convenient and would highly recommend staying here.

Champions Gate

Property/home was very clean with all working amenities. Communication with property management was great and anything requested he made sure to make happen immediately. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

It’s was ok good for space but there few things that need to be fixed.1. Master bedroom the closet door don’t work and the bathroom towel rack is broken.2. The pool doors down stairs won’t stay lock.3.Kitchen really don’t have cups and plates 4.grill was rusty until if I did want to grill I would not.5. There was a snake in the pool that my husband got out with the net 6. All the beds are so hard 7. The pool table is very little kids friendly only not for adults 8.you will need to put everyone that’s visiting name on the list and in ur party for them to enter we had guest coming over to visit that could not enter and they was not staying.9. The ice maker only made ice 1 day 10.No wash cloth maybe 5 in the hold house we had to buy more. I think these small things getting taken care of would make this a great location.

Home needs attention

Communication with the booking agent was great. They responded quickly to all requests. The house is dirty. In need of a deep clean and paint. There was garbage left outside. Inside, I spent hours cleaning before guests arrived. Carpets had obvious dirt on them. Hair in shower stall. Stained mattresses. Stains on bed linens. Skimpy comforters and tiny pillows. Furniture in game room in terrible shape. Outdoor furniture falling apart. You are charged a cleaning fee to use the barbecue but it comes dirty. The barbecue starter does not work so you better bring a lighter.

The stay was ok

Too many things broken, did not feel safe knowing that someone can get hurt. Reaching out to the host would take hours to respond. Nothing got fixed. Host mentioned she will have maintenance come by and 18 hours later message me back saying she could not get maintenance to come out. Be careful with this property as each room has something broken. The pool was dirty so could not enjoy it. The host needs to take some time and go to her house and fix stuff before renting it out again. Chair leg is broken so if you sit on it you can fall, wall has missing wood due to it being broken if you’re trying to utilize the closet be careful you can cut your leg. Closet door is off track when you pull it open it falls. Tile in kitchen next to sink is cracked you will get cut if you touch it. Overall you will get hurt in this house if you’re not careful.

Poor Condition of house

The home needs a lot of repairs and did not meet the quality that we were expecting for the price. Here is a brief list of items the owner should address on the property 1- Patio furniture is in bad shape chairs not usable broken, Lounging chairs not usable 2- Fridge door by ice maker broken 3- Microwave operationally above stove defective 4- 2 of Light switch's for main room and kitchen lights not operational 5- Furniture in house broken chair in main living area leg falls off 6- We paid for heated pool but heat was not on from Feb 14th to 16 and then turned off on Feb 28th to March 2 7 - No broom or dust pan available to clean the house

Never again

Over priced. Furniture and appliances were falling apart. The pool heat we paid for went out the first day and took them 5 days to address the issue with 1 day remaining of our trip. Ants were coming in thru the kitchen heavily and the pool patio was covered in sharp rust particles that were not addressed we had to clean up ourselves as good as we could with a half of a broom that was provided, which I’m sure the piles of rust are still there. Also the grill we did not use was disgusting and was not cleaned prior to our arrival attracted cockroaches we had to get rid of. Very disappointed in this place and the management company. Had to call 4 different times and had to re explain issues because it was not being kept track of. They did replace most of the bad furniture the day before we departed but we notified them of the issues the day we got there but why they took so long. Never again with this property!

Watch for extra fees and things that don’t work

This house is beautiful. It was clean there is some mold in the shower and the backsplash of the kitchen. There is plenty of room and the management team communication was good. It was not quite. There were parties on both sides of us three nights in a row and the house behind us had dogs that barked all day and all night. If you want to heat the pool just know that they charge you for the day you arrive and leave and they don’t turn the heat on till the afternoon of your arrival which means it’s not hot until the next afternoon. So our first night and most of the next day it was cold and of course check out is 10 so we couldn’t use it the last day. It was not worth the money and there is an additional booking fee the VBRO will charge you which I have never been charged but is apparently because this house is a direct book with them. So anticipate an additional 300 in charges on top of the positing. We also had no internet the first night we were there. They did fix it quickly. The last is the kitchen. This house fits 15 people but you can only cook for 2. There is hardly any cooking items. Two small pans. No measuring items. Not pot holders no cooking sheets only four bowls and you get a single dish towel. Make sure you wash the dishes you use because every dish was dirty. We stay at more than 10 vbros a year and sadly this is not one we would book again. Again the house is beautiful and there is a ton of space but it was not worth the money or trouble or noise.

La casa estaba limpia y bien arreglada, pero la experiencia no fue 5 estrellas ya que faltaron detalles pequeños pero que marcan la diferencia y lo menciono principalmente porque nos hemos quedado en otras casa y nunca hemos tenido que preocuparnos por detalles como no había ningún tipo de sazonador como Sal, Azúcar o Pimienta, no habían filtros para la cafetera, no había bolsas de repuesto para la basura o papel toalla. A la hora que llegamos tuvimos que salir directamente a la tienda para poder comprar esas cosas en pequeñas porciones porque al final la estancia era corta.

Dirty and Run Down

At first glance, this place was an amazing find. You can tell that it was a nice place at one point. The owners/management company had put in nice furnishing and tried to make it comfortable but slacked on the upkeep The beat up walls, dirty comforters, and wobbly furniture were the least of our concerns. The kitchen had broken appliances, dead roaches, live roaches, and roach poop. The pool deck had a dead rat and the cleaner just picked it up (leaving smeared bits behind) without cleaning or sanitizing the spot. We stayed there between 12/24 and 12/31, the oven was eventually fixed on the 28th. The company was prompt to provide gate access passes during the stay but has been unresponsive since check-out. We reached out with concerns about our stay and they promised to send an email and call back within 48 hours but it's been nearly 2 weeks and we have yet to receive any contact.
