Outstanding location, property, and beach area. The condo is very spacious and has a partial view.. it’s a short one minute walk to a very warm, hot tub and nice cat pool.. the beach is only in one minute walk away.. the beach area has very nice lounge chairs to view the water. It’s a one minute walk to the bus line.

Nice location. The unit could use some updating but otherwise nice. It was very noisy the first night but after that no issues. The storm damaged the elevator so fortunately being on the second floor was a blessing. Pool and beach were fun. Worth a second trip.

Excellent Location

Whales and turtles at the beach, along with amazing sunsets in the ocean. Quick trip to spectacular beach hikes nearby. Restaurant on site.

Don’t walk barefoot in unit

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is in need of updating and deep cleaning. The carpet felt crunchy when walking on it, the couch was old and dirty, and it looked like years of dirty hands touching light switches and doors. Our friends stayed in a unit that was newer and clean. I would not stay here again.

Spacious

Loved the location and amenities at this property. Pool, hot tub, bar and restaurant on site. Nice beach! Room was clean and spacious, loved having 2 bathrooms. Bed and sofa sleeper were comfortable.

Great Location

Everything was great with the unit. The location is perfect and we were glad it had the restaurant/bar downstairs. Great beach location and rental equipment. The unit was very clean and provided with good essentials. The only thing we would have to say is that it needs updating. It really needs a new couch and a new bed. Loved that it has two bathrooms and washer and dryer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Greet location and the one bedroom had 2 bathrooms which was a plus. The kitchen area was clean and came in handy. We were able to pick up groceries to make breakfast and late night snacks. Only downside was it was noisy at night and the couch was very outdated and scratchy. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms and abundant hot water.

Rainbow Paradise

Getting up every morning with a beautiful ocean view, only if you want to sleep in the bedroom had blinds but did not block light so up early-all supplies were all there even a closet of boogie boards, chairs , cooler , & even sand toys, was a pleasant surprise🌴☀️🐢 would stay there again when in Maui!

Great location!

Very clean room, easy check-in. Room 122 isn't ocean facing but the beach is just a minute away from the door of the room! Grounds were well maintained and pool/hot tub were very clean as well. Restaurant is located on the property and also plenty of grills if you want to cook out. Overall very happy with the accommodations. Would stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at SOK many times over decades of travel, this was my first time in a one bedroom. I found the layout and furnishings much less desirable than a 2 or 3 bedroom. This particular unit was very badly stocked with cookware and tablewear. All of the appliances were old and in poor repair. It came stocked with NOTHING...not even a salt shaker or coffee filter. No a single beach towel or piece of beach equipment. We left an unbrella and chair for the next guest, hope the owner doesn't remove them.This is the only time I have stayed at SOK and regretted it. This unit is not a good value.

Spacious One Bedroom

This unit was spacious, nice to have 2 bathroom & washer/dryer but the bed really needs to be replaced. It would squeaks every time we moved, the mattress is worn out. There is definitely some deferred maintenance needed. Sands of Kahana is a very nice resort, sunsets are fantastic. The pool is great, perfect water temperature, the Beach Club is very convenient, good food & service.
