San Carlos Unit 1807 on the Beach in Gorgeous Gulf Shores, AL. This beautiful 3 bedroom and 3 bath San Carlos unit has a king bed in master, queen bed in guest, and a queen in other guest room. The sofa is also a queen sleeper. All bedrooms have flat screen tvs and views are direct beach front. San Carlos offers a large beach side pool as well as a sauna. You don't have to miss any workouts because the fully equipped fitness center overlooks the beach! Rental of wave runners, beach chairs and umbrellas are available with service provided directly in front of the condo! San Carlos has 1800 square foot of meeting space for rent with a fully equipped kitchen overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and is perfect for a beach wedding or family reunion. Don't miss out on the many recreational opportunities, including an outdoor pool, a spa tub, and a sauna. Additional amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access, a picnic area, and barbecue grills.

*Important Parking Information: Please note that parking is not included with this rental. Parking is controlled by the condominiumā€™s HOA and is subject to a separate fee, payable directly to them. These parking fees are not part of the rental cost.*

Stays of 14 days or longer (including winter stays) must be paid in full 90 days prior to arrival. Payment by check is required to avoid a 3% credit/debit card processing fee. A 3% fee will apply to long-term stays paid by card.

Check in/out process was easy and convenient We were noticeably pleased with the fresh smell and clean out of the condo as well as the whole building. Elevators especially did not smell of wet and feet Our condo was as described and very neat and clean. It accommodated our group well. Already thinking of coming back

San Carlos Gulf Shores Stay

Overall, place is great location and right on the beach! After hours check-in procedures could have been explained upfront when we notified them. Couch is old and uncomfortable & one of the shower pressures was loud and vibrated when using. Otherwise, we were really happy with our stay!

We had a wonderful time. The kitchen was fully equipped, a huge plus. The beds were comfortable, the living room furniture & pull out was old, stained and uncomfortable. All and all a good trip.

We had a great vacation! The condo was nice, wish it was a bit cleaner. If you plan on cooking bring spices and coffee filters. Also in the 18th floor for those with littles it was a bit scary with my 2yr old. Other than that great location/vacation!

Excellent Value

Great views , not fancy but great value. Biggest issue was cleanliness. Floors need to be moped by housekeepers- very dirty. Had a plumbing issue but resolved while we were there. Again overall a great visit and a great value for a 3 BR. 3 full baths.

Great Vacation Stay

The property was very comfortable for the 6 of us. Location is amazing and the beach is terrific. Amenities are nice. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and drinking our coffee each morning. Make sure you are prepared to purchase the $50 parking pass per car. Also, the parking lot is a little small, but there is overflow parking across the street from the building. Bring extra toilet paper and garbage bags if you are staying more than 3 nights. All in all, a wonderful vacation.

Overall, it was very clean. A few spots were missed, but nothing to be upset about. The only thing for me not rating 5 stars was the state of the couch. It's seen better days. We just covered it with a blanket to sit down on it. It was otherwise comfortable to sit and lay down on, so ya know, you make the best of it lol. The VIEW is amazing over the beach, but it was also nice to enjoy the view the other way, over the city, as we would come and go. Something we had an issue with is not controllable through the condo, but someone on another balcony somewhere was smoking weed almost every day, to the point where we couldn't enjoy the balcony. No way to find out out where it was coming from to report them, so again, we just tried to make the best of it. Overall, though, we would stay again!

Overall, the condo suited our needs for 3BR, 3BA. However, compared to other condos we've stayed in at San Carlos, this one was somewhat lacking. There were minor, but noticeable, differences such as furnishings and general upkeep. Maybe it was the realty company. We were not told that we would have to pay for a parking pass when we got there. $50

Great location, dated property

We loved our stay here. Right on the beach, which is what I wanted. Within walking distance of some restaurants and shopping very close to The Hangout. Everything seems clean, however, it is dated. The property needs some attention. Some painting touch ups would be great, some newer furniture would be nice. The dining room table I donā€™t know if it was the painting of the dining room table or what but it was sticky and we just could not get the stickiness cleaned off. Ended up buying a tablecloth to put over it. Loved the kitchen and everything that was in it. I did not know the unit came with an ice machine that was fabulous!!! Made me super super happy and life much easier going to the beach every day. The washer and dryer seemed brand new. And worked perfectly. We had no trouble with the elevators, we had no trouble with the parking. It was very busy very crowded. But that was to be expected. Lots of jellyfish in the ocean just to let people know. We found some great shells while walking the beach and I even found an intact, perfect Sandollar. Absolutely made my day.

Location is great

Let me start with the good points. Beautiful view. The size of the unit was good. We had 5 adults and 3 children and we didnā€™t feel like we were on top of each other. 3 beds 3 bedrooms were great. Kitchen was stocked very well and it has a stand alone ice maker. My granddaughter loved it. Now for the not so good part. This all happened our first night there. The place was not very clean. Your feet turned black walking on the floor with no shoes. The floor was sticky and the garbage can lid was very nasty. We just over looked all of that and was trying to make the best of it. We thought we would clean it ourselves. They advertise that it has a sofa bed which we were counting on our granddaughters sleeping there. Well to our surprise when their parents let out the bed it was disgusting. It was so nasty that there was no way they could sleep on it. I called the rental company they told me to send an email with pictures. (It was after business hours) They called me the next morning and I told them our issues and they said they would take care of them. They brought over a brand new mattress for the sofa bed and the cleaning companyā€™s owner came and took care of the floor and trash lid and something that was on the balcony. Spill of some kind. I was very pleased with the way they handled everything. The rest of our time there was wonderful and it was a great vacation with our family before school started back.

Fall beach get away

This condo is a fantastic value! Itā€™s a little dated but the location is convenient and itā€™s beachside. I would definitely consider renting this unit again. If youā€™re on the fence about renting this unit, donā€™t be.
