Welcome to Paradise!!!! No street to cross to get to beach! We are 2nd tier. Walk out of house, directly on the sand!! Completely Renovated and updated, including new furniture & flooring, February 2020. 55ā€ TV in living room.
We are located approx. 120 yards from the waters edge! Dune Walk West is a raised, 1-story duplex. 1650 sq. ft. Sleeps 12. It has two master bedrooms with private baths, the 3rd bedroom shares a large bathroom with the 4th bedroom that has two bunk beds!! The perfect place for a family vacation or reunion!!!! Rent both sides for a total of 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms!!!! ( See our other listing VRBO # 739867)
You will love relaxing on the deck while the kids build sandcastles in the sugar, white sand below!!!
There are two swimming pools and a tennis court in this gulfront community of Morgantown.
There is plenty of shopping, golf, walking trails, mini-golf, go carts and restaurants nearby. Don't feel like going out to eat? No problem...the kitchen is well equipt with everything you need...or grill outside on the bbq pit and watch the beautiful sunset while relaxing your cares away!!
So, close your eyes and just imagine yourself on the balcony with the cool, gentle breeze blowing and the tranquil sounds of the ocean waves crashing. Besides...that's what BEACH stands for...Best Escape Anyone Can Have!!!

The duplex was clean.The community pool and tennis courts were not able to be used because the weather was extremely hot. It was great having 3 1/2 bathroom since there was 7 of us. The trek over the sand dunes was tiresome .

We loved the property and couldn't have asked for a more family friendly beach atmosphere. It was our first time in Fort Morgan and we are already planning our next trip! The whole family loved it, especially the two grandpups. Check-in and checkout was a breeze. The easiest on any property we've ever stayed in. Having a complete kitchen and a grill in the outdoor made it so simple for laid back evenings after a day at the beach. Plenty to do just down the road if you are ready for a break from the beach.Our youngest grandchildren were begging for more days.

Beautiful beach house!

My family had an excellent spring break stay in this home! It is roomy, comfortable and easily accommodates large families, especially if you are bringing pets. We found it very clean and inviting. The absolute BEST part is the location, just off the sandy shores of the Gulf. The neighborhood is nice and walkable, again very convenient if you are bringing pets. We will absolutely stay here again!

A friend and I took nine teenage boys for a beach trip. We had plenty of rooms and bathrooms. There is plenty of seating in the dining area and living area. Easy access to the beautiful beach. The unit had lots of privacy since it doesnā€™t share a wall with the other unit. The kitchen is well stocked except for Tupperware. The unit was not ready upon arrival and we had to wait about 30 minutes for it to be cleaned and inspected. One of the pools was closed due to a One of the pools was closed due to a leak. Overall, we were happy with the unit and location.

Great neighborhood in Fort Morgan

Loved this property for its space, location to the beach, and overall set up. Wish it was closer to neighborhood pool but thatā€™s the only drawbackā€”- if you have several younger kids recommend renting a golf cart to go back and forth to pool too. Beach is walkable with small kids.

Comfortable family spot with good water views!

DuneWalk West provided plenty of space for our family of 5 and we felt like the pictures did not do it justice. Our favorite spot was the porch and its view of the water. Great for soaking up some awesome Gulf breezes and sunshine! Itā€™s located in a more secluded part of Morgantown, which was nice for privacyā€™s sake. We enjoyed having access to the community pools as well. Would stay again if we returned to the area!

Great location! Had a great time. However the house needs some maintenance. Beds were confortable however the top of the bunk beds were dirty and full of tiny mosquitoes. There was some leaking from the ceiling, and some of the furniture was old. Over all we had a good time.

Nice Unit!

Easy access/walk to beach without crossing any roads. Unit is a duplex with no common wall with the other unit so nice separation/privacy. Property Manager was very available and responsive through VRBO messaging.

Family getaway

We love staying in the Fort Morgan area. We had a good view of the beach from the house. The house has some issues- Hall wall is plastered but not painted and the ceiling in that area leaks. Sofa is very lumpy and not comfortable to sit on. Dining table was broken but usable. The house was spacious and gave us plenty of room for the family. As I said, we love the area and were pleased with the beach access

Lots of positives- Owners quick communication- Layout suited our family well- 3 showers (2 new) 4 toilets a win hard to find in other listings- Good storage in bedroom nightstands, dressers, closets (hanging, storing luggage)- Hallway open shelving easy to access pantry items w/o crowd in kitchen; other for beach/misc items- 2 kitchen trash cans - Outdoor gas grill- Sturdy & large dining table (great for puzzles!) - Lots of barstools - Spacious porch with rocking & regular chairs lots of railing to drape towels- Loved detachment from neighbors for sound privacy- Outdoor showers & hose provided - Plenty of (used) beach equipment downstairs to borrow- Bench swing at bottom of stairs (multiple places to find your own spot to chill)- Covered parking - Washer/dryer provided Listed as New Renovation, nice photos but experience didn't match expectations- Couch was very old/used & uncomfortable- Dining chair woven construction so seats were worn/sunken too low for table- Fridge missing door storage - Mattress sagged, uncomfortable, hard to get out of- Sheets looked clean but were sandy- Strong wifi router but area seems to have spotty internet connection- Disappointed adult pool was closed & not communicated, no parking near kids pool- Cabinets cheap quality- Renovated floors and paint were done low quality - Some doors didnā€™t close, one installed backwards another off rails - Floors dirty/unswept underneath beds - No bars/hooks in bathroom for towels

Floor plans of the duplex worked for us; disappointed in poorly maintained property

PROS: 1. The duplex is located back from a section of the beach that is not heavily populated. 2. The layout of the two duplex units worked for our family of 22. CONS: Both sides were poorly maintained: water stains and mildew on ceilings in the main room; towel racks missing; broken down picnic table with exposed nails; exposed nails on dry-rotted deck railing; unpatched holes in wall; broken shelves in refrigerator that were still stuffed in top cabinet, despite a previous review with same complaint; seats of woven chairs broken or sagging; no round table in one side of duplex as advertised; replacement window trim still not painted; old windows and other items from "2020 renovations" still piled under the house. I have over 20 photos of the items I am describing, but there is not an option to attach photos. I called Dana after we got to the rental to ask her to remove the picnic table with the exposed nails. She said she couldn't remove it, but she would have someone come by and hammer the nails down. No-one ever came to to this, nor did we hear back from her about this concern. We will return to this area of Fort Morgan, but we do not recommend this rental due to false advertising, unacceptable maintenance condition, and poor response from owners.

Just not for us

The cottage was very nice but we only stayed less than 24hours of our 4 night stay. Upon arrival the home had a very pleasant fragrant smell as if recently sprayed. Our dog immediately started rolling on the carpet over and over but didn't think much about it. We left to go eat dinner and took our dog along with us. Upon returning she started the rolling again an I got down and tried to see or smell what was on the carpet as no pet stains were showing. I did find that strong urine was embedded in the carpet and our dog now had that smell as well. The next morning we got up, called trying to find a place to get dog washed and found a place in Pensacola. The next morning we fixed our coffee and went outside to enjoy morning coffee and ocean views. There was construction going on two doors down so very noisy with hammering and sawing. I know if is off season while we were there and that is when construction does have to take place. The duplex side across from us was having some renovations done as well and we could hear the sounds of the renovations from the deck. Could not hear them from inside but we came to spend a quiet time away from noise we had at home and spend it outside not inside.This was no fault of owners at all. But is was not what we had wanted for ourselves. We made the decision to look for something else when we took our dog to get washed. At that time we packed up and left. I notified the owner that we had left around 11:00 and decided that the cottage was not for us due to the urine smell and the distraction of construction. I did ask if they felt some sort of a refund /partial could be considered. That was not received very well at all.....a defensive attitude assured me we had made the right decision to just walk away. I was told the place had just been painted and new appliances added, and carpets cleaned. I did say the carpets looked clean but had embedded urine causing it to have odor and the construction was a distraction and her reply was, "well what would you have done if I had rented to children next to you." I felt that was an inappropriate response . i have not heard a word and won't I am sure. A great place for a family but not really for a "couple get-away place "to relax and just enjoy being out in the sun on the deck , sunning, reading, etc. The place is nice, the view is nice, and it was clean. It was Just Not For Us.

We have been married for 18 wonderful years! I am very blessed to have married my best friend!!! We enjoy lots of outdoor activities and staying active!! When Ron isn't golfing and I'm not playing tennis.....you will find us at the beach!!!! We have 3 rescue 'fur babies' that go everywhere we do! I wouldn't want to vacation without them and that's why we offer a pet friendly vacation home!

We fell in love with this house and everything it has to offer! It has the most beautiful, panoramic, unobstructed views of the sandy white beach and Gulf of Mexico!! It is very spacious and i love offering the option to rent both sides out as one house for large families and groups at an affordable rate!!
