Your vacation home is extremely well located.  Walk to the adjacent Harbor at Keauhou Bay where you can organize sport fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, outrigger canoeing and sunset sails.
You might also go snorkeling at Kahalu'u beach (thought by many to have the best snorkeling on the island) or go boogie boarding at White Sands Beach - both beaches are close by and feature lifeguards.
Similarly, pampering can be found at the nearby Keauhou Sheraton's spa.  Restaurants and shops are conveniently located just up the hill at Keauhou shopping center.
These are also trips to Waipi'o Valley in the north for hiking and horseback riding; helicopter tours; hiking and viewing the active Kilauea Volcano in the south; and treks up Mauna Kea, a volcanic peak rising some 14,000 feet above sea level!
Kanaloa is a short drive from the Kailua-Kona International airport at Keahole (KOA) which offers nonstop commercial service from Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, San Jose, along with direct inter-island flights from Maui, Kauai, and Oahu.

Wonderful view from the lanai!

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in this beautiful Kanaloa Kona condo for about a week, waking up and having breakfast on the lanai was always the best start to the day. The views are wonderful. The condo was VERY clean and well stocked with all items we would need for a great stay. Plenty of towels, kitchen items, trash bags, laundry items etc. We were 5 adults(2 couples and a single) the condo has three sleeping spaces with a bathroom for each area which was perfect for us, there was plenty of seating while watching a movie one night as well. Each of the rooms has ceiling fans which were welcome during the warmer nights, the house also has A/C. The complex is very quiet and has a couple of pools for use, the owner is kind enough to provide a good stock of pool towels for use as well as beach chairs and other items you might want if you go to the beach. Check in and out was a breeze the staff on the property were very attentive. The grounds were very well kept and there is security at the gate and available on the property. There is a nice grocery store about a 2-3 minute drive (or a pretty good,10-15 min walk-up a bit of a hill) from the property as well as some good restaurants a drug store and our favorite... a shaved ice/ice cream/boba place! We snorkeled with Sea Paradise, highly recommend this catamaran style boat. We also rented Dune Buggy's with Big Island Buggy for the day to explore the island in the open air, perfect!

Kona Coast family vacation

Nice complex of condos, quiet, clean, good location. Condo itself was well set up for two couples, and a loft. Furnished nicely, well stocked kitchen and tons of beach/pool stuff. Owners were very accommodating to allow of late check out - nice bonus for us.

No need to look any further!

We had a wonderful stay! Fantastic location, clean and beautifully furnished. The lanai is spectacular, roomy, comfortable with a breathtaking view. Sunsets were one of a kind right from the golf course green. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Shopping right across the highway with plenty of restaurant options. We will definitely be staying here again!

Absolutely Perfect

This condo was so wonderful for our family group of 6 adults. The 3 bed, 3 bath and spacious deck where a perfect fit. The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of room for all of us to move about. There were spices etc for us to use. The view of the golf course and ocean was fantastic. The condo was within walking distance to a shopping mall (grocery store and fantastic book shop), farmers market and harbor for tours. My son loved the golf course and some of us walked there in the mornings. The pools and furniture were fantastic. We loved the pool on the ocean, and also the quiet pool was good for down time and napping. Some in our group played pickle ball also. The condo had beach towels, chairs, mats, coolers, snorkeling gear etc. We used it all. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay!

Week in paradise

Loved this place. Nicely located. Owner was more than accommodating and always made you feel he was there for you. And they were. Property management was excellent. Views were priceless. Pools were extraordinary. All in all you won’t be disappointed. Only reason it didn’t get five stars across the board would be the loft. A little warm and door on bathroom made privacy a bit awkward. Also the close by beach isn’t all that. I had my grown adult girls there so they require a little more privacy. To me, don’t let it stop you. Overall you will be amazed by the sunsets. Party of five will love it. Couples in downstair rooms. Single individual in loft. Master room and its bathroom is definitely five stars. Everything you can need was there. Overall I was impressed.

Myna Birds and Beauty

The property was easy to find, and easy to enter. We loved every part of it: the decor, the lanai, the bedrooms were wonderful. My dad and friend each had a room and my son, husband and I had the loft, so it gave us all a little space of our own, plus shared space in the kitchen and living room. We swam in all the pools and explored the rocky trail and beach. We also loved the location for the shopping mall nearby for groceries and dinners out as well as a short drive into Kona and to the Volcano!

Great views and location

Our family of 4 plus grandparents stayed for a week. We loved the location and the views! We even saw whales from the balcony and ocean pool. If you are looking for a great space with lots of room to spread out and amenities nearby, we highly recommend it.

The little things that make a VRBO wonderful...this place has them!

What a great spot for a vacation. We had a wonderful stay at this great location, facilitated by amenities within the condo...staple goods, condiments and seasonings in the fridg and pantry were such an unexpected delight since we chose to cook all of the time. Hawaii is expensive for groceries, so this was such a bonus for us. Water toys in good condition for guest use, books, games & puzzles for down time too. The pool was lovely. View of the 12th hole of the golf course from the deck was very entertaining. Spectacular sunsets as well from the deck, some with the added gift of the "green flash"! We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay! Beautiful view from the lanai, well stocked kitchen, lovely swimming pools and tennis courts with pickleball lines and paddles available for checkout. The owner is very responsive to questions. I will definitely stay here again!

Great location, great condo, perfect condo complex

On-site staff we're kind and helpful. Location of complex was perfect for all of our excursions. Pools were nice and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

A tropical getaway from the snowy midwestern tundra

Truly a comfortable condo in so many ways! We enjoyed the space the condo had to offer. Two king bedrooms and two baths on the main floor that have plenty of room and closet space. The loft has a bedroom minus the door and a smaller bathroom. The open area at the top of the stairs has two pull out single beds my son put together for a very comfortable sleep. The kitchen is stocked with spices and about every small appliance you may need, we added a coffee press to the items! Our weather was perfect so we spent lots of time on the lanai watching the waves come in and enjoying the 12th hole. When we cooked at the condo we ate at the lanai table. The last morning I saw a whale! At sunset people gathered along the edge of the golf course to enjoy the view. The closet in the lanai has snorkels, boogie boards, and other outdoor items. If you need some inside time due to weather there are books, puzzles, and games to play. We also love our football so we watched some games on TV. The ocean pool was our favorite. The views are spectacular. Another pool is attached to the condo office with indoor activities. We did not check that out because the weather was fabulous the entire time. We packed light because we knew there were plenty of towels and laundry facilities in the condo, such a luxury not having to check baggage. Thank you for the lovely condo, comfortable amenities, and attention to detail.
