Stylish Row Home with Exposed Brick and Courtyard by Lucky Savannah

Just two blocks from Forsyth Park, our cityā€™s largest green space, and two blocks from Whitefield Square, one of the most popular squares for weddings, is Penance. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this townhouse is has everything youā€™ll need for a memorable stay!

This fully renovated home has plenty of historic charm, including exposed brick, a beautiful staircase, and hardwood floors. The open floor plan allows the living room to flow into the beautiful dining room and out into your private courtyard. Youā€™ll find plenty of comfortable seating and a centrally located flat screen TV for easy viewing. A half-bath is tucked away under the staircase for convenience. The kitchen is small but functional, and allows for a view of the courtyard so youā€™ll never miss a moment with your loved ones! Upstairs are both bedrooms, a full bath with a shower/tub combo, and separate laundry room. The first bedroom has a King bed, a large TV, and lots of space to stretch out. Down the hallway is the second bedroom, which has two twin beds perfect for kids or friends.

Youā€™ll be just down the street from Kroger, the only full grocery store in the Historic District, but close enough to all of Savannahā€™s dining options to never need to cook! Take a stroll to MatĆ© Factor Cafe and discover organic coffee, matĆ© teas, house made muffins, danishes and even fruit-stuffed.

Beautiful property! I only wish the trash instructions were clearer. For those of you staying at the Habersham House, turn right coming out of the front door and the trash can alley is a few houses down. I made the mistake of turning left because the directions only gave an intersection and ended up dragging the trash bags around the whole block. I called the office but all they told me was the name of the streets it was between- they did not know where to go either which was frustrating.

The boys liked their second floor room. The primary was spacious and the bed was perfect. The kitchen is a bit small but we made lunches and dinners without issues. We walked almost the entire week. Dolphin experience and Ghost walk were both great. We ate out on several days and didnā€™t have any trouble getting a table even without a reservation.

We are 4 adult women who thoroughly enjoyed our stay, this location, and this house. It was very convenient for walking to grocery store, liquor store and all of the historic district. The restaurants close by were all very good. The only issue was a slight communication gap when we wanted to extend our check-out. I would recommend this beautiful home.

The townhouse is centrally located, making it easy to walk to River Street or to the Starland District. Itā€™s also just a very short walk (2 blocks) to Forsyth Park. We really like the large dedicated dining space. There is comfortable seating in the living area. The kitchen is a bit smaller than the pictures show, but itā€™s still quite workable. Our stay was so very pleasant. Weā€™ll definitely return to this property by Lucky Savannah!

The beds were firm with plenty of blankets, a mirror in the master bedroom would be good, as would a grab bar or non-slip strips in the tub/shower. The living room seating was more than adequate - newly redecorated (with lots of velvet and glitz). Kitchen is small but workable. The patio was disappointing - it needs a good sweeping/raking and the dead plants need replacing. Not very pleasant to sit in. The location is perfect, close to the free trolley, coffee shop , grocery and liquor shop. Neighborhood is pretty and felt very safe. All in all a very nice stay.

Travel often and usually stay in VRBO properties. This one is among the very best of the best. Location couldnā€™t be better - within few walkable blocks to Yellow Deli, Hop on Hop off trolley, Forsyth Park, many squares, and Kroger. And of course the home - well stocked, hip decor, very nicely furnished, comfortable bed. Finding street parking no problem. Definitely one to book.

It's more geared to a small bachelorette party instead of a family with kids, because of the explicit coasters and art (wish a few things had been hidden).I would have loved to have had: anything other than the floor to rest my phone/apple watch on beside the bed, an extra lock on the front door to make sure no one could come in (since people walk right by the door), a mirror in the master bedroom, and TVs in the bedrooms (TV was in the closet not set up).I would definitely stay in a Lucky Savannah property again!

Beds were comfy. Kitchen well stocked with equipment.

It was the perfect spot for exploring the historic squares and Forsyth Park. It's only a couple blocks from Krogers grocery store. Street parking out front was never a problem, and the neighborhood is quiet. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable. It was very clean and had everything we needed. A great home away from home. Downtown shopping and dining is an easy short drive away, so if you are looking for a quieter area to stay during your vacation, I would definitely recommend this home.

Great House with Character

The house was amazing but the surrounding neighborhood and those who walked the streets was not. As a group of girls, we did not feel safe entering and exiting the house/our car if it was dark out. We had quite a few concerns with the surroundings and would not recommend staying here without men.
