Perfect Paradise!!!

So letā€™s start with the amazing host that throughly communicated with me prior and duration of my stay! The property is wayyyyyy better than the pictures! Itā€™s enough houses and spaces in this one area for multiple families or friends! This space was not only huge it was clean and the pool and other amenities made a five star stay. The best part was the views of the entire island from the balacony! Definitely going back every year !!

It was wonderful and peaceful. Having the individualize accommodations definitely worked. Having 2 kitchens worked out for us. The pool area was clean and spent everyday at some point as a place to meditate. Would stay here again.

Fantastic Property

This house was perfect for a large family. Kid friendly. Great pool. Beautiful view. The only thing I wasnt ready for was no central AC, however there are a ton of fans and the time of year we went it was comfortable at night. I would absolutely stay here again.

A wonderful stay

This is a beautiful property with a distinctly and almost magical laid-back island vibe. Its landscaped grounds provide a patio area for grilling and dining outside. The view from the pool area is breathtaking. The property is complete with 4 tortoises and 2 wonderfully affectionate cats on site. Inside, every wall and every shelf provides an opportunity for the eye to wander: the houses are pleasantly accessorized with pieces evoking that island feel. Additionally, the owner provides almost everything a guest could need, from linens and appliances (both large and small) to spices and toiletries and everything in between. ...she even left us a list of recommended activities and a ho-ho-ho bottle of rum! These houses are the most well-appointed rental houses we have ever stayed in. The only thing about this property that I would take issue with was its declaration that it was a 15-minute walk to the beach. I suppose it would be possible to walk down to the beach in 15 minutes (if you had a skateboard, you could probably make it in under 3) but, because of its mountainous location, I think it would take even the most fit among us a good 60 minutes to make it back up the hill to the property. But the area is quiet, and we would highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a little piece of paradise.

The listing is not as stated. 1. HOME OWNERS LIVE ON PROPERTY and it is actively under remodel by the homeowner. 2. PERSONAL PETS ROAM THE PROPERTY. If you are allergic to cats specifically do not book. The cats will enter your space. 3. YOU CAN NOT FLUSH TOILET PAPER. This is the quote from sign left on the toilets, "Our water is collected from the rain so please conserve. THROW TOILET PAPER IN THE WASTE CAN. Flush toilet only when needed." 4. HOMEOWNER TRIED TO CHARGE MORE THAN LISTING. Listing states for occupancy of 8. We had a party of 5. I get up the first morning to a surprise invoice for $250 for having a 5th person. Homeowner stated the booking was for party of 4 which this number only came from direct email communication prior to our arrival. At last minute we had a 5th person which does not constitute a charge on a occupancy booking of 8. VRBO agrees and stated we are not responsible due to booking being for occupancy of 8. We ended up leaving the property, and booking another property while filing a claim through VRBO for false and inaccurate listing plus non disclosure of the items listed above. Unless you like wrapping your waste in toilet paper to put in waste can, cats coming into your bedroom, or a potential additional invoice added without notice I would not even consider this property.

The only thing that bothered me was the house was advertised as three queen bed rooms. The pool villa both rooms share a ceiling so itā€™s basically like being roommates. As everything said can be heard.

This place has an amazing view!

The view is amazing. The mosquitoes can be bad after if rains but if you keep the screens closed you are safe. The host was amazing and very communicative. This place is very boho chic. Only down side is no AC but itā€™s so close to the water that you wonā€™t need it. If you want a real VI feel this is the place!

Great view, buggy, HOT (no air conditioning despite the pictures)

The lows: There is no air conditioning, despite the pictures showing a wall mounted air conditioner in the bedroom. The doors, windows and elsewhere were very porous and allowed many varieties of bugs to enter the sleeping areas which made (along with the heat) very difficult to sleep. My advise: Don't stay there during July, August and Sept. The Highs: Great view, great pool and good location.

Lovely vacation

This property was great. We ate all of our meals at the garden table. The main house was big enough for all six of us to hang out. We also used the bunk house and the poolside house. We enjoyed the pool and deck overlooking the bay. The landscaping was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the small lizards, hummingbirds and turtles on the property.

Wonderful Property

The property was wonderful and perfect for the group we had. The pool area and view were awesome, really made the time spent at the property worth it. The only negative things I can think of, although small things were.. we never received the bottle of rum we read about and one of the pictures showed a window a/c unit, but none of the rooms had one. Overall a great place.

Island family fun

This was a great base for our family vacation. The property is in great shape and very well decorated. The map shows the property closer to Limetree when itā€™s actually up Hawk Hill (other side of the main road, further up away from the beach). The roads are very curvy and tight. The pool and pool deck are awesome - definitely a highlight, particularly at night. Kids loved how the pool lights changed colors. There is a box with tons of pool gear, snorkel gear, beach chairs, sunscreen, etc. it all made it incredibly easy to enjoy a day at the beach (or by the pool). That continues through the houses (mostly clear from the listing, but three distinct structures included) - lots of toiletry items (soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc.), full kitchen, coffee, bottle of coconut rum, and a game cabinet for the kids. Even the towels were amazingly laid out. Having the pool / pool house behind a lockable gate was perfect for us, as it allowed us to keep our youngest away from the water. A few of the reviews mention that itā€™s open air (aka no A/C). Our first night was rough, but after we got the window situation right to let the breeze through, we didnā€™t struggle with the heat. Part of it being open air is that we did have some uninvited ā€œvisitorsā€. I say this not to discourage you from staying, but just for full disclosure. Kitchen had some the tiniest ants Iā€™ve ever seen, and anything left on the counter would be swarmed. Also had a few small lizards and my first scorpion. As much as we loved the pets, the most social cat (Hank) decided to jump on our bed at 5 AM one morning. The other decided to try breaking through the window screens at 2 AM another night. Despite that, they are really sweet animals (literally welcome you back to the house every time), and they helped to make the kids feel ā€œat homeā€. If we make it back to St. Thomas with the kids, I wouldnā€™t hesitate to stay here again. We all really enjoyed our time here!

Perfect place for our family of 4 with 2 teens

This place was the perfect getaway and space needed for our family with two teens. They loved their own rooms by the pool away from our room. We had the main house to the right that included nice size bedroom with queen bed and another bunk room next to living room, kitchen and dining room. Each room had a TV and plenty of windows for us to get fresh air. You will want a car as most things we went to were an 8 minutes to 20ish minutes drive. Very central to everything, but it is a little steep bumpy road so it was nice having a rental Jeep. The hostess Vicki was super helpful and kind. Their two cats were so sweet and playful. We had everything we needed to include beach chairs and towels. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been snowbirds in St Thomas VI for over 10 years.Originally from Minnesota, we came on a cruise and decided we wanted to stay. We started out with a condo that we would rent when were off Island, but then decided we needed more room.
We purchased our first home in Frenchman's Bay. It is a three bedroom, two bath house with a two bedroom one bath detached house. The house is a West Indie style built by Eric Winter. Eric Winter designed many homes and was a renowned Artist whose murals you can see in the Mall in TuTu.
Over the years we have renovated and updated the home but have stayed true to the original theme as much as we can.
In 2014 we both sold our shares in our health care business in Minnesota and decided to make St Thomas our home. We moved to St Thomas on June 17th. We have since opened our new business Tovilla Properties. We rent villa's, manage properties, and buy and sell.
We are truly excited to share our love of the islands with you. We are as hands on as you want. We will pick you up and get you settled. We can arrange any and all of your excursions and get you this best deal.

Our Villa is private and in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. You need not go to the beach if you just want to relax with a cold drink in the pool and look out at the ocean.
We strive for excellence in all that we do. The property has beautiful and meticulously kept gardens and living space.
It is really the tropical look most vacationers are looking for.
There can be 6-7 ships in port but up at our villa you hear nothing but the soft winds blowing. We are centrally located so not far to go shopping, dining or playing on the beach.

We knew this was the place as soon as we walked in the door. The ocean views are just breathtaking. Everything is lush. We have about thirty variations of palms and banana trees.
Wake up in the morning to the sound of the Love birds and go to sleep listening to the crickets and frogs.

It is such a magical place!
