Mountain Luxury Retreat for families & friends, new hot tub, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath

This well appointed 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home offers everything needed for a relaxing mountain weekend filled with adventure or just to unwind and work remotely. Bright light fills the central living area which includes the kitchen, dining and living area. Besides enjoying the natural beauty there is a high definition surround sound television complete with cable, Netflix and Apple TV. For those who enjoying gaming there is a PlayStation4 and of course high speed WiFi.

Enjoy the new hot tub after a long day of activity or gazing at the stars.

Great effort was put into stocking the house with quality linens and amenities to ensure guests have an enjoyable experience. The kitchen offers all necessary tools for cooking & baking including a Kitchen Aid, Cuisinart and blender.

Dog are welcome, we ask that they stay off furniture & beds. An additional $50 pet fee will be charged.

Comfortable Home

Lovely, well equipped home in the forest. Had a lot of wildlife from birds to bears! Would not put an adult in the twin bed room, but perfect for kids. Communication with owner was great, and he responded quickly. Lots of stairs if guests have mobility issues. Would definitely book again.

We will be back!

Wonderful home, well maintained, stocked, and supplied. Perfect for four and would comfortably support six adults. When sitting in the living area and looking out the front and rear windows you have a feeling of seclusion. The Tahoe Donner club and facilities are a major plus. I highly recommend viewing their website. The community is very well maintained, peaceful, and centrally located. The jacuzzi and the rear deck space is excellent! I would have stayed for the remainder of week but needed to get back. I come up to this area several times a year to mountain bike and this will be my go to VRBO rental.

Cozy, Comfortable, Fully Stocked and Soooo Relaxing!

This is the second summer in a row spending a week at this cabin. We love everything about it, starting with the quiet, clean neighborhood. We walked or biked every day and felt very welcome and safe. The house has a huge garage - perfect for our car and all our bike gear. The kitchen has every tool you can think of, and we cooked breakfast and dinners almost every day, including burgers on the like-new grill. We also baked cookies twice using the Kitchen Aid stand mixer. The entertainment center is surprisingly easy to use given the multitude of options. And, we used the HUGE hot tub every single day - sometimes twice! What a wonderful place to come home to after a day of biking, hiking, sight-seeing and zip lining!

Great Tahoe Donner Property for fun!

We had perfect weather, fresh snowfall and some sunshine also. Great place close to the Sno Park; driveway and property on a hill which made for great sledding and other fun for the kids right outside. Loved the large hot tub which we used every evening and the beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything needed for eating in. Would definitely recommend for families!

Great place in the winter and/or summer!

Amazing home, perfect for two families

This home was wonderful! It's beautiful warm and welcoming. The layout was perfect for two families with kids. Very well stocked, clean and taken care of. The host was so great in making sure everything was going okay. The location is great close to Donner Lake. Wonderful wonderful time and beautiful home!!!!!!

Perfect Stay in Tahoe Donner

What a fantastic location and home for our week-long summer stay in the Truckee area. The home had more than enough room, has a great hot tub (which we used every single day!), and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked most meals, grilled out on the patio, and made cookies and had every kitchen gadget we needed. Brooke was great to work with and even checked in with us via text to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Thank you!

Wonderful house and owners

Our family had a great stay at this home. The house is well appointed, has a great layout, is clean and nicely decorated, and has nice views. The location was perfect too. We could walk to a little market which has a nice variety of groceries. Truckee is just minutes away by car as well. In addition, Brooke was great to deal with - great communication including checking in with us via text message at times through our stay. We hope to stay here again.

Great place for a family get-away

Perfect place for 2 families, close to Tahoe Donner Snowplay

This was our second time staying here - both times we were 2 families. The space has a fantastic layout as 1 family can stay upstairs and one can stay downstairs. In between the two bedroom levels, there's a wonderfully cozy living room and kitchen. It is spacious, clean, well-stocked, and well appointed. Its a 2 minute drive from Tahoe Donner Snowplay area. It's so easy to work with Brooke - we will definitely be back!

Great house for a visit to Truckee and ski areas

This a beautiful, well equipped home. While we were visiting, the Sierras experienced record snowfall! The wifi and TV entertainment group were excellent. The contract snow removal did an excellent job keeping the driveway open..

Great property, great owner, definitely staying again

First off, we struggled to find a place in the greater Truckee area that was truly dog friendly. We were thrilled when we found this property. Brooke, the owner, was very prompt with her communication and EXTREMELY helpful before, during, and after our stay. The place itself is great. We comfortable housed the whole family (dog included), had a great time playing in the snow behind the house and skiing at Northstar. The hot tub was a great feature and easily fit everyone after a long day in the snow. We absolutely loved this house and cant wait to come back! 5 stars!

Perfect family house in the snow!

Beautiful well maintained home

Four of us stayed in February 2016 and had a fantastic time. The house is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was very well equipped with almost every utensil/device you could ever want. We had initially planned on eating out most nights but after seeing the kitchen (and the entertainment system and the hot tub!) we decided to stay in and cook the entire length of our stay (the Keurig was very well received by all!!). The lounge area was very comfortable. We’ve discovered in the past that although a house may sleep eight, it doesn’t always seat eight, but there was plenty of seating for all, very well arranged around a lovely fireplace and an impressive entertainment system. The location was perfect as we had wanted to stay close-ish to Truckee but reasonably secluded. I realise that most don’t necessarily think of Tahoe Donner as being secluded, but the house is positioned so that the back of the house and the hot tub aren’t overlooked. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub for soaking after skiing/snowboarding. The entire house is extremely well maintained and we enjoyed every moment. It was a joy to know that once we had finished skiing/snowboarding, we had such a welcoming home to return to, thank you Brooke for such a fantastic stay, we hope to be back very soon.
