Imagine walking through your new oasis, and having one of the most outstanding views of the ocean. The ocean is so hypnotic, that nothing else seems to exist but you and the moment you are in. You could sit for hours listening, and hearing the ocean playing like a symphony to your ears. The view off of the deck is first the blue glimmering pool, followed by the ocean and island landscape. This is something that everyone must experience in a lifetime, if not as often as possible.


Inside our place, you will find beautiful, new furnishings throughout. Brand new bedroom features such as new bed, lamps,night stand. The living room is now for couples. Honeymooners to long time marriage anniversary celebrations. New amenities include more than simply comfortable couches and chairs. Big screen blu-ray player. And of course, the view of a lifetime. We know you will be more than satisfied!


When you are not in the condo there are many activities, which include many surrounding World Class golf courses, to 5 star dining. Some say that whale watching is some of the best in the World. We have giant Sea Turtles, Birds, Dolphins, and many other forms of Mother Nature. We are only minutes from the historical town of Lahaina, and lovely Kaanapali.


There is lots of shopping, Food, Fun, Art, and Recreation. But if you would like to relax you can go back home to be hypnotized by Mother Nature, at our lovely condo. Finish off the evening BBQing under the stars, and standing just a few feet from the ocean. Life doesn't get any better than this. So please come relax and enjoy a life that is calling you.

Hale Kai is our favorite

We like the close proximity to the Ocean, a short walk or drive to shopping and eating.

The bathroom fan is inefficient and rattles. It’s ridiculously hot in the bathroom. The shower constantly dripped. There were two burners missing on the stove. This place has the most spectacular views though. The place was adequate

Reviewer Comments: This place is awesome! This was our 3rd time at Hale Kai in the past 4 years and we have already booked for next year. We like that it is a small complex (40 units) located right on the beach. The common areas are well maintained - pool and BBQ's always clean. Our unit, #217, was great. The lanai is a perfect place to watch sunsets & the turtles in the surf, and we even saw whales fairly close in.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd visit to Hale Kai, first stay in #217, and it was a perfect fit for our family. My wife and I were comfortable in the master, and our two boys (10 and 8 years old) were more than cozy on the two sofa's that are actually impressively comfortable beds. I even slept on the large couch one night and I almost preferred it to the king bed, I'm 6'1. Cannot recommend Hale Kai highly enough...we will be returning ASAP.

The condo is in the beach, our view was breathtaking looking over the poolAnd then ocean. It was located between Lahaina and Kaanapali. It had all we needed in it, it is a little dated and could use a spring cleaning , it was clean but the corners and behind the dressers and in the drawers could be cleaned but really not a big deal. There are the nicest people there, front desk lady was so accommodating and if something needed fixing it was so done! Highly highly recommend this place. We will be back!

Reviewer Comments: 6th year #217. feedback- departure day, asked for late check out. it was a busy day for cleaners, but there were other units unoccupied that she could have cleaned first. Other renters said same thing- long-time renters are working around the cleaners being inflexible rather than the cleaners doing unoccupied units first. Some of these people have been coming 30+ years. Seems like the cleaning people's schedule trumps renter's preferences. I understand sometimes not possible, but the chat is that the cleaning crew is getting more inflexible and doesnt understand customer service. As an aside our unit was cleaner than it has ever been, so kudos to quality cleaning. Any chance management could talk to Maria about the schedule issues. Happy to pay for late check out

Would not recommended unit 217

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We noticed small drops of blood on the sheets and thought it was strange but didn’t think more of it until more spots kept showing up each day. My husband then realized it was likely bed bugs. He pulled the sheets away to discover more blood marks on the bed shirt and other bedding. We were offered a different condo to stay in for our last night; however, we were so disgusted we booked a different accommodation. Our last 24 hours of our Hawaiian vacation were spent frantically packing up all of our belongings, dealing with maintenance and the rental manager, throwing away all of our food we had purchased for dinner and breakfast (our new accommodations didn’t have a kitchen), finding new accommodations, moving to a different hotel and getting situated there. NOT how we’d intended to spend our last day. Additionally, when we returned home we had to throw away all of our luggage and spend the time carefully laundering all of our clothes and cleaning all our other items. The rental manager said that they checked the place the next day and there were no bed bugs; however, I don’t think anyone should be staying in that unit until things are fully cleaned and replaced. We received no compensation or refund for any of the issues or costs that were incurred. The overall condition of the unit was poor compared to the other units we saw. It needed a really deep cleaning. Rather than taking the feedback, the rental manager stated that “it was the end of busy season and they all needed to be deep cleaned.” Which, again, I don’t think was the case as other unit looked to be in better condition. The overall location of the complex was great and staying on the second floor facing the ocean was a great view. I wish we had a better experience with this particular unit because we really did like the complex. I’d recommend just selecting a different unit. I wil

Reviewer Comments: Great view of ocean on 2nd floor balcony, but Condo was old with outdated appliances and living essentials. Bathroom is old and dirty. Toilet needs replacing. Walk in shower needs replacing. Old electric kitchen stove needs replacing. Very dull kitchen knives. Only 2 raggedy kitchen towels and wash cloths. Balcony sun shade stuck with birds building a nest in it. Bedroom in back noisy with traffic. Perhaps the owners would be interested in this review to do some upgrades? This condo was fantastic to stay in, a cute apartment fully furnished accompanied by a breath-taking view of the ocean and direct access to the beach. If that doesn't sell you on staying here...I don't know what will. In addition, this complex is close to town which makes it extremely easy to get around without driving to Timbuktu. Melody will take great care of you and your family during your stay, offer great recommendations and helpful trip advice for you first timers. Thank you for providing a smooth check-in process and the literal best vacation I've ever been on!

The only thing I wish they had was portable or wall unit AC as I was there in September and it got too hot to stay during the day. However, it gets cool enough to sleep comfortably at night. The place was super clean and had no mosquitos! I highly recommend this place!
