Hi CJ and Maigen, I just wanted to Follow up With your review of staying at one of my cottages this past week. I appreciate your kinds words and also a heads up On the wooden spoon and utensil that had to be dishwash… I typically go through the cottages and check all this in beginning and also throughout the season Because not everyone is as particular about things. I also had notice a mustiness and wondered if it was from the previous guest, I have gone through to Double Ch ek and will be replacing the area rug which might be the culprit. I do regularly launder the comforters and throws.. And you are right , being pet friendly has it’s challenges… but over all my guest have been grateful To have such a nice spot and to be able To bring their four legged family member. Also I have hired a contractor to rebuild the steps adding another step . So thanks For your thoughts and I do hope you return some day. Take care, Midge

If the weather was calmer it would have been great for you to tie up on the dock.. HI Pam, Happy to read your notes ,I don't know of the smell you mentioned, but all floors and bedding are sanitized and washed all the time , I would have investigated if you had contacted me. I use additional cleaning aids to keep the cottage free of any odors... But glad you had a good time .

Hi Laurie, thanks for taking the time to write your review about your stay at my cottage on Cayuga Lake. You were the last guest to stay at my place and the marina/Rv property is closing down also at this time. I will say even in the high summer months, the RV owners come in at different weekends, very quiet and are easy neighbors to have. My acre property offers plenty of space for cars, boat trailers and places for guest to play and explore along the beach, collecting shells washed up by the lake.The second bedroom has a large clothes rack to hang clothes . I am purchasing a mobile microwave type cart that can hold groceries on a lower shelf and a food prep upper counter for added storage. This lake property has incredible sunsets and a wonderful place for families to enjoy the easy access walk-in to the lake. We are less than a half mile to Wheel House restaurant in Hibiscus Harbor ,I give my contact to all guest, live less than a half mile away and love to help with any questions or needs. I'm happy you received your belongings that I mailed back. Have a great winter in Mass.
