Remarkables Retreat 1 is a favorite of many families due to it's space and views, and being right on the lake's walking track it makes for a nice walk to the Marina for the cafes and wine bar or into the town center.

Unfortunately, parking is one of those pesky challenges that we all face in Queenstown, we do provide a description of the parking arrangements in the listing so that this can be taken into consideration before booking a hire vehicle to avoid any parking issues. Our weekly allowance of 150 litres of general waste is in line with the weekly council allowance for residential households using the council bin which is collected once per week. If you do happen to exceed this we are generally fairly flexible depending on a number of factors such as the condition the property when it is departed, if everything is well taken care of then we generally waive it, and if charged it is only a small fee per 75Litres for removal over and above. Dear Kellie Thanks' you for sharing, just for future it would be really helpful if feedback is given at the time so that we may address anything in real time this way we can ensure your stay more comfortable, especially things like Wifi, appliance issues, and rubbish disposal, especially if you are unsure on the directions given. We apologise for the condition of the kitchen crockery and cookware we will inspect and replace any damaged items to ensure they meet the property's capacity. Regarding the Wi-Fi connectivity, the property has recently installed fiber optic internet, which is unlimited and has no device restrictions. We will investigate any issues to ensure a seamless connection for future guests. Any maintenance issues indicated will be promptly addressed to maintain the property's standard. We regret any confusion with the rubbish disposal process, being part of a destination like Queenstown, as part of our efforts to reduce the impact of waste on the community by short term visitor accommodation, rather than using the council bins which are collected weekly as if filled after collection day run the risk of overflow which is not ideal. Goodstays provide an allowance of 2 x 75-litre garbage bags per 7 days for general waste plus recycling, this is more than the weekly council allowance that red lidded council bin holds. These bags are collected and disposed of by us at the Frankton Transfer Station. This information is provided to you in multiple media avenues, including but not limited to the pre arrival instructions ( Page 8 ), a laminated A4 sign in the kitchen and a QR code on the large black lidded bin provided next to the council bin. It is certainly not our expectation that our guests dispose of their own rubbish.
