Captain Jack Cottage - Private Heated Pool, Bikes, 5 Min Walk to the Beach

Captain Jack Cottage, formerly known as Soul del Sol, is located near the RB racquet club and fitness center. Captain Jack Cottage was recently updated and refreshed in the Winter of 2022 is an ideal option featuring a private pool, an open second story floor plan as well as intimate spaces nestled throughout.

Native scrub oaks frame the cottage private back courtyard and pool area that lead to the first floor accommodations. The master bedroom features a private bath, flat screen TV, Queen bed and direct access to a comfortable screened in porch. Other accommodations include a guest bedroom with Queen bed and a fun bunk room, both with their own flat screen TVs and access to a second full bathroom.

The open floor plan of the upstairs area is optimal for entertaining and includes a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining area accommodating six, and an entertainment area housing an oversized flat screen TV which can be enjoyed by all while cooking, dining, or just relaxing. Adjacent to the large main area is a quaint writing nook and spiral staircase that leads up to a cupola with two built in twin beds/seating perfect for some memorable late night story swapping and laughing.

While not enjoying your own private pool, meander along the oak shaded wooden boardwalk just outside the front door which leads to delectable restaurants, boutiques, beaches and nearby Triangle Park perfect for daydreaming on a bench or catching up on your favorite novel.

We were only a few blocks from the private beach access and a few blocks from all of the Rosemary shops.The pool was also great to have for the days we knew rain was in the forecast. I would 100% stay here again.

Great location in Rosemary

This is our 6th year coming down to Rosemary Beach for Thanksgiving. As always we love the town and all the fun things they do this time of year. We really loved the house. The layout worked really well for us and the kids. Of course everyoneā€™s favorite part was the heated pool. We would definitely stay there again.

Thank you very much for a great week in Rosemary! This home was incredibly clean with the best stocked kitchen!!! We loved the location and the uniqueness of the home! The pool was an added bonus everyday after long days at the beach! The communication with the rental company was outstanding! I would recommend this home!

Perfect Beach House Family Getaway

Property was recently renovated with new appliances, paint and tile flooring on the main level. Everything was clean and worked as it should. All the amenities you would expect with some nice extras. Heated pool was great. Short walk to beach, indoor pool, tennis courts, fitness center and restaurants/coffee shops. Great place to take your family, will definitely be back!

Great beach property

Cute house. We loved our stay. We rode the bikes and walked to the beach and to the stores and restaurants. The house was advertised as 4 bedrooms but the loft bedroom was too hot to use even in October. We had to put adults in the bunk room which wasnā€™t ideal, but we made it work.

Awesome stay

This was a great location - easy to walk to all the shops and dining. We loved the heated pool. The communication with the property manager was fantastic. We had everything we needed. We did not use the beds in the crows nest for sleeping - as some of the other reviews noted, it was a little warm (it would be nice in colder times of the year up there) - everywhere else in the house was nice and cool to stay. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay and I would pick it again.

We booked this property for the private swimming pool. Unfortunately the pool light wasnā€™t working and we emailed the mgmt company. They sent a technician and had it working that same evening for our night swimming enjoyment. Excellent service!

When we first arrived, there was a small issue with the pool cleanliness, but the 30A team was fantastic at resolving and our kids LOVED the pool. The house was stocked nicely, wish they would give 1 more garbage sack so dont forget to bring some. The house was clean and our kids really loved going to the 3rd story to look out. We highly recommend this house and would like to thank the staff of 30A for being responsive and kind with resolving our questions.

The beach here is very crowded and there was a lot of smells seaweed on the beach. Very surprised that they donā€™t groom the beach daily. The HOA has a monopoly on beach chair rentals which are pricy and thereā€™s very little room to bring your own stuff. We usually drove to Grayton state park. Much less crowded. Will probably not stay in Rosemary again.

Even the beach is only an easy 5 minute stroll away. The room set up in this rental is great with the bedrooms on the lowest level, kitchen and living room on the second, and a crows nest that kids are sure to enjoy. Had all the basic things you'd expect a host to provide and instructions were clear and up-to-date. Super easy check out process as well, which we really appreciated (take out the trash and start the dishwasher). Having a pool was really important to us, and this cottage didn't disappoint. We were swimming in it everyday--great place to cool off and hang out with the family. Definitely would stay here again.

The home itself was worn out in some places but not too bad. Kitchen cabinets, table and pots/pans have seen better days...and there was a hole inside the microwave. Scuffed up walls, and dirty floors when we arrived. Stained patio cushions.. The management company was quick to respond. Overall itā€™s in a safe nice neighborhood and fit the needs of our stay...just not in pristine shape anymore.

Wonderful stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Rosemary in the captain Jack cottage. The house was clean and had what we needed for our stay. However, I wasnā€™t a fan that the only way we could get into our house when left locked was through the back pool door. It would have made it so much more convenient having a key code on the front door as well, That was the door we primarily used. The pool alarm is a bit obnoxious, about gave my toddler a heart attack when we first got there and opened the back door without thinking of pushing the alarm button first when we arrived. I understand that itā€™s required but a different sound that wasnā€™t ear piercing would be nice. Finally , there should definitely be a ceiling fan in ALL rooms. It got pretty toasty at night in the bunk room where my daughter slept. Overall we enjoyed the house and the location was great and parking was easy with our truck.
