Wonderful Condo

This property is well managed and had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. I was pleasantly surpirsed by the ammenities available including an air mattress, hot plate, and all essentials you would expect from a hotel.

Enjoyed our stay

Smaller, efficiency size but nice. Worn out tattered Sofa needs to be replaced, otherwise, we would stay there again. Easy communications, affordable, nice location.

We did our research and everything was so expensive , even the 2 star hotels. We then came across this, though not many ppl reviewed it , it had good reviews. So we decided to give it a try. It is at a good location. Will recommend for sure

Clean, nice accoutrements

No complaints, great property, clean and excellent decor, appreciated the extras like pool wristbands, air mattress, ice chest. AC was a little loud but it worked well and that’s what counts.

Absolutely Amazing!!

This was my first experience with using VRBO and I am so glad I chose this property! I went during Spring Break and yet the area remained clean and quiet. The owner provided every necessity possible, which made my suitcase load light. The view was gorgeous and the office was very helpful and friendly. I was taken away! What a wonderful experience I had in beautiful South Padre.I would definitely love to visit again.

Nightmare on my girlfriend’s birthday

It began badly and went down from there. I was not contacted by your company or the property owner for checking in. We arrived around 4:30 and the office was closed. By luck the maintenance man Roberto, was kind enough to try and help us out. My girlfriend and I drove all day and we were tired. We arrived at the location with no idea how to get in and tried to call the phone numbers provided but no one answered. I came across Roberto and he called a couple of places and finally reached the maid. Roberto got the code to the apartment and let us in. We found it to be filthy, unkept and someone’s stuff still in it. The maid finally showed up and she said she would clean it but couldn’t answer why someone’s stuff was still there. We decided that it was not going to be suitable and found another place to stay. This is the first time I’ve used your service and found it to be a mistake. I demand you refund all my money. I have pictures of the place I would love to send you, just provide the number or email address. I was really upset with you guys for the poor quality of the place and the fact that I spent over $800. to impress my girlfriend. She was kind enough to help me pay to stay in a decent hotel.

We're very sorry you had issues accessing the home. We're happy to hear you were able to successfully enter the property and we sincerely apologize for the miscommunication as well as the inconvenience this may have caused. - Unfortunately, some very unexpected circumstances prevented the original cleaning crew from properly preparing the condo before your arrival. We have begun working with a new cleaning crew to ensure that future guests do not share your experience. - We strive to provide all of our guests with a 5-star experience. We encourage guests to reach out with any concerns while in residence so we have the opportunity to make things right. The local contact would have been happy to assist with any of these issues. That being said, we plan on looking into every one of your concerns to ensure that future guests do not share your experience. Thanks for your valuable feedback!

Disappointing

Landfall Towers has a beautiful poolside area with a hot tub which we enjoyed using. Also, we were impressed that the elevator was cleaned and sanitized daily. As for our efficiency unit, the main room was spacious and the dresser had lots of space for our clothing, as did the closet. It also had a king sized bed.The shower was large and the water was hot. Although there was a large shower, the placement of the toilet and vanity made the bathroom extremely cramped. The kitchen area was also quite small, but we did not eat any major meals there,so it was sufficient for our needs. In one of the photos of the kitchen, a small stove is pictured,but it did not have that. A hot plate was provided, however. Another disappointment of the efficiency was that it was extremely dark due to the gold colored walls and the general lack of lighting. Two light bulbs were burned out on the switch lights. There was only one lamp; an additional lamp would have been most helpful. The most disappointing thing was the love seat. The vinyl was peeling off the love seat in many places, so it was not a piece of furniture that we wanted to sit on. The love seat definitely was not pictured this way in the photos on the website. Another problem we had was with the door. When the wind was strong from the north, it was difficult and at times impossible to lock. We observed the residents of the next door unit had difficulty locking their door also. The unit was economical but not pleasant. Next time, I will spend more money to get a nicer place.

Hi Timothy, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - Thank you for the feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the imperfections during your stay. - The loveseat has been replaced with a new one. - The light bulbs have been checked and replaced as needed. - The full-size oven range was purposely removed as it took up too much space. It was replaced with a conventional oven and a hot plate, plus a new microwave and a new stove. We will ensure the photos are updated. We take pride in the home and try to maintain it as current, clean, and pleasing as possible. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve for our guests.

Great and Nostalgic

Nice studio condo with a great and relaxing view from balcony. All expectations were met. Short walk to the beach and very quiet location. No complaints, will book this location again next time we visit.

The properties location and balcony was nice. The inside was in desperate need of attention. The fridge was small and barely worked. It was very loud and the temperature was cool not cold even on its highest setting. The AC was so loud and also not very effective and the temperatures were only in the 80’s. There was no internet despite contacting both people listed on contacts I never got the issue resolved. There was a large amount of mold in the coffee maker. The closet doors were broken and when I opened it, it was full of clutter making it unusable. To kick it off to check out they want you to clean the room for them or get charged.
