The beach-looking new flooring co-ordinates with the new blue/grey/yellow living room furniture, complimented by new wall pictures and lamps. Both bathrooms have also been updated. | | This unit has king size bed in the large master bedroom and a queen sized bed in the guest room. Enjoy flat panel TV's in the living room as well as both bedrooms, with DVD players in the living room and master bedroom. The dinette seats 4, plus 3 seats at the kitchen bar. Although the view is slightly limited, you will feel right at home in this cozy unit.

Great Location!

Loved the location! Property a bit older, but clean and nice. Our condo was spacious and clean. It definitely could use an update on the furniture. Couches and Bed, Feels like it's very worn out. Not very comfortable.

Luxury price, moderate accommodations

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would suggest people shop around before choosing to stay at this property.Pros: This property is on the beach with very easy access and is less than a 5-minute walk to a bunch of shops, restaurants, and activities. The beach is massive and beautiful and there were plenty of chairs, space, etc. If you don't want to be in the middle of the foot and vehicle traffic and/or hear bar music sounds until 2am, then this probably isn't a Pro nor the unit for you, but it's appealing to some. Overall, the facility itself is a little dated and could use some tech and amenity upgrades, but there are worse places. Those are the best Pros I could come up with.Cons: The unit we were in was priced like a luxury resort, but it looked and felt like a standard spring break hotel. We didn't feel the need to complain, it was just a mix of cosmetic issues and stuff that's uncomfortable/inconvenient and should be better given the price.

This particular stay was up to the usual standard and we would be happy to recommend HOTS as a cool place to stay.

Great location

We had a wonderful time at the House of the Sun! The property management company was great and very friendly. Our unit was a little dated and the kitchen needed more stocked. There were only a few small skillets and very few bigger bowls to cook and serve with. The other thing to note is that you are limited to only two beach chairs and then you have to pay for more. Outside of these few items….our trip was awesome!! Beach, pool and facilities were great….thank you!

Hi Kim, Thank you for your review, we appreciate the feedback and are glad you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the kitchen deficiencies, please note we keep an inventory of those items for additional guest requests. If you encounter that problem in the future, please stop down at the office and let our reservation desk know, we can have the items brought up. Unfortunately, we only maintain an inventory of beach chairs the provides two free chairs per unit. Great Beach Average Condos

If you stay in a unit too close to the road the live music across the street from House of the Sun will be very loud until around 11:00 pm. Units on Siesta Key are getting beat up due to popularity of the location. Beach was packed…too crowded. Not worth the price you pay any longer. Management was very friendly.

Reviewer Comments: Property was in a good location, but this unit sits closest to the road with very loud music playing from about noon until midnight. We enjoyed those bars/eateries, but Was difficult to WFH on the patio in the afternoon or sleep before 12 am. Clean, but no extras like toiletries or condiments, dish soap or even a sponge.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything couldn’t have gone any smoother from checkin to checkout. We had one small issue with a shower head that was fixed the very same day.The only suggestion would be to add Wi-Fi capability to at least one TV for renters to access streaming. A simple Roku would do the trick.Location within Crescent Beach is perfect, and direct access to beach was a dream.

Location!

Nothing can beat the location of this place. Right by the beach and some little shops right across the road. We had a great time and we would travel here again.
