A misrepresentation of this property.
I was traveling to Mayo Clinic to take my Mom for chemo and needed a clean and quiet place for her to stay. The description and pictures of this property depict an updated and comfortable space, and against my better judgement to stay somewhere that didn’t have reviews, we booked. Upon entering the back door into the kitchen, we noticed right away that the cabinet doors were off the hinges and didn’t close. We brought our own food, so when we opened the refrigerator door we were astounded when the door handle came off the door. The main bed is extremely low to the floor, and the couch/ trundle bed was disgusting. There was a sheet on the “couch”, but no bedding on the trundle bed mattress. The mattress was stained and had hair on it. I contacted the owner asking where the bedding was kept, and there was one additional blanket in the closet. No other bedding or pillows was provided. I’m not sure how they can say four people can stay here, when they don’t provide adequate bedding for two guests. The floors are extremely slanted, and the overall state of this property is misrepresented on every level of their listing. We left immediately and had to stay at a hotel which cost me additional money, inconvenience and stress. The only way for the owner to make this right is to refund my money.
