Welcome to DragonFly Lite a single family home in Marathon, FL the heart of the beautiful Florida Keys, the house has 2 bedrooms a Queen in the master and 2 twins in the guest room, one bathroom + an outdoor shower, all the towels you will need for the pool or beach (please leave the sand outside). Kitchen is stocked with basics , so there is everything you need to cook up a storm, enjoy! Living area has a large TV, comfortable seating. Your own heated saltwater pool & patio area is complete with a gas grill, outdoor dining and seating areas to enjoy. Off street parking for your car & boat. A 10 minute drive to Sombrero Beach, voted best beach in the Keys. Less than a mile walk to Seven Mile Bridge. Plenty of shopping on Marathon and you are just an hour from Key West.
Dragonfly Lite!! is a wonderful island getaway for a couple or family looking to come to the keys to kick back, relax and enjoy each other’s company. A special place to celebrate your honeymoon or anniversary a wonderful retreat for you and your family to enjoy. We look forward to hearing from you.

Outside was perfect, but the house itself was not as pictured online. Almost no water pressure super tiny bathroom, uneven floors. Not as expected.

Just what we needed after a chaotic and sometimes stressful last year or so. Comfortable place with a pool that was perfect to paddle around in, do a version of some water aerobics moves, and enjoy the jacuzzi action. It felt more like a family home than an impersonal rental. We did nothing but read and enjoy the pool. We walked to the restaurant at the marina and had some good food. Even though we just stayed around the pool, there's tons to do around there. We plan on going back.

The owner, Jerry, was quick to respond and very helpful when needed. The property was extremely private and the pool was excellent! The outdoor shower was key for me! I don't think I ever toook one inside. The house itself was a perfect size for my wife and I and the location was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Loved it. Would have stayed forever if it was possible. It really felt like home while we were there. Lots of supplies and equipment at the house. Pool is amazing and is such an oasis. Host provides a ton of information about restaurants and things to while there. Property manager shows you around personally. We will definitely recommend the place to anyone and will be saving up for our next visit.

I don't know where to start. Everything about Dragonfly was great! It was very clean, things all worked as they should. The beds were comfortable. Jerry was easy to connect with if we had questions prior to arrival and was still offering tips during our stay if we asked. All questions before, during, and after our stay were answered quickly and courteously. We have already booked again for next year!!

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the Keys

We had a fantastic stay at Dragonfly Lite in Marathon! This spot is perfectly located—right in the middle of the Florida Keys—making it the ideal home base for day trips to Key West, Islamorada, and beyond. We loved being able to explore during the day and return to such a peaceful, private retreat each evening.The saltwater pool was a highlight—refreshing and spotless, it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of snorkeling, kayaking, or just soaking up the sun. The unit itself was simple, clean, and just what we needed: quiet, comfortable, and with enough privacy to truly relax.There was some construction going on across the street that got started a bit early in the morning, but we’re early risers anyway, so it didn’t affect us much. Honestly, it was easy to tune out once we were enjoying our coffee by the pool or planning our next adventure.A huge shoutout to Jerry, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He had tons of great local suggestions—from food to hidden beaches—and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.If you’re looking for a centrally located, low-key escape with charm and convenience, Dragonfly Lite is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Relaxing vibes with the best location on the keys

We loved this property. Very close to everything but still felt like a tropical get away. The pool was amazing. Beds were comfortable and the space was everything described in the listing. The outdoor shower was also a perk. We loved having laundry on site as well. Super convenient and all the things you could need. Hosts were very attentive and answered al of our questions. The snorkel gear readily available was a cool addition and kept us from renting gear while staying in the area. Would consider staying here again.

Poolside Paradise

This was our first visit to the Keys and we were very pleased. The house is cozy and clean, and the outdoor pool area is phenomenal. Jerry and Lynn were wonderful hosts. The only bad part of the trip was returning to central Illinois weather.

Beautiful outdoor patio, amazing pool, and a very well air conditioned house. We had a great week here, only thing we wished was different was the jacuzzi connected to the pool was the same temperature as the pool, other than that, fantastic host and property.

Great Trip

We had an amazing time at your rental! The pool was warm & we enjoyed spending our days in the beautiful yard. The property was clean, cozy and absolutely perfect for us. They had even put a bottle of champagne in the fridge to surprise us for our anniversary! It was a very thoughtful gesture. Jerry checked in prior to arrival and during our stay to ensure everything was going well. We were able to walk to the Lazy Daze restaurant and other restaurants are a short drive away. We will definitely look into staying here again when coming back to the Keys. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Dragonfly Lite, week in paradise

Everything here was perfect. Property manager, Barbie met us at house to orient us to everything. She did a great job, and I felt comfortable contacting her for needs, but we had none. Very clean inside and out. Beach chairs and umbrella provided as well as beach towels. Kitchen had everything needed if you want to cook. Close to many excellent restaurants. And the pool...so beautiful and relaxing, very private. Great location to explore the Keys if you can tear yourslef away from the pool. Property owner also communicated frequently with suggestions for fishing tours, activities, etc. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and hope to return soon.

Marathon has so much to offer: Dolphin Research Center, Turtle Hospital, Pigeon Key, Seven Mile Bridge and Crain Point Museum & Nature Trail.
A good selection of restaurants and Sombrero Beach.
