Lucia's place is great. The balcony/view and beach-front are better than pictured and we enjoyed very much. Would definitely stay there again. One note is finding the unit. We arrived late - dark, and Uber wasn't very familiar. Would suggest using "La Jolla Beach Condos", Paseo de La Jolla. The unit is in bldg "E", which is noted on small plaques. Bldg E has several staircases, not all of which lead to the unit, and none of which indentify unit numbers they access. Find the stairs nearest the parking on the north side of the bldg. Then enjoy.

Beautiful condo, perfect location

The condo is beautiful and perfectly located. It had everything we needed for a quiet vacation - the condo is well sorted and the internet access was reliable; beach and pool access are right on hand; walking distance to a convenience store, pharmacy, and a few restaurants; walk or very short car ride to the supermarket.We practically had the whole beach to ourselves. You can watch the whales migrate from the condo balcony.Had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

This is an ideal location. Long beach walks, whale watching from shore, walking distant restaurants. The condo was very clean. The only downside was the Wi-Fi is inaccessible. I had my iPad so we watched Netflix once or twice and had to purchase extra gig’s to keep phone and IPad connections usable. With a good book and beautiful surroundings, we did not miss tv.

3rd Floor Ocean View Retreat

Host was very helpful, informative and honest. The space is very authentic & homey with the basics. Since spent most time outside at the amazing close by beach and sight seeing, we didn't miss the fact there was no wifi or internet that worked during our stay. There are 2 nice TVs but without internet they didn't work. But again we didn't miss it because we were outside taking in the surrounding area & recommendations and we were not disappointed. If you sit by the pool you can get some wifi. The big pool is heated, the smaller one isn't and both were very enjoyable with lots of lounge chairs available. The gardens and grounds are well maintained and very beautiful with all kinds of flowering plants. Recommend bringing your own binoculars to see more from the balcony - we saw whales multiple mornings. And the view from the space is sunrise - we would walk to beach to actually see the sun pop up from the ocean horizon. Stunning! Also recommend bringing your own beach things to do, beach bag, blanket, speaker, cooler. Large towels are provided. The bathroom sink area is kinda tight because door opens to the counter but rest is fine and shower was good pressure & always had hot water briefly. If did dishes 1st would run low so give some time between. Bdrm is spacious & lots of hanging & drawers. The bed is a Qn & a little hard, I like but spouse likes little softer, has 3 pillows & footboard so if tall sleep sidewise abit. Laundry facility on 1st floor. Nice experience.

La Jolla Paradise

Wonderful location with a great view of the Sea of Cortez. We stayed for two weeks and did not want to go home. Thank you again Lucia for sharing your little piece of paradise with us . We will be back next year for sure

Mexican comfort

Well kept older property with Mexican style. Lovely grounds, lots of friendly long time owners ready to chat in the pool. Great for a laid back relaxing visit.

Perfect place to stay to explore San Jose Del Cabo and surrounding areas.

It was our first time visiting San Jose and our first time in Mexico not staying in an all inclusive. la Jolla was the perfect place to experience the area. Lucia was very accommodating and very helpful anytime we had any questions. You feel like your at a resort, the condo was clean, the grounds are meticulously maintained, the pools are great and the ocean view from the patio was fantastic! So many great restaurants and amenities within a 20min walk. We also found uber very reliable when traveling. We enjoyed all the activities the area had to offer kayaking, snorkeling, surfing and endless walks on the beach. San Jose, Cabo San lucas, Cerritos and Todos Santos are all in close proximity and all have so much to offer! Excellent food and amazing people wherever we went. Highly reccomend La Jolla!

San Jose Baja Paradise

Very clean and well appointed condo, morning coffee on the deck with the sunrise was amazing. The beach is nice and just steps away, beach chairs and umbrellas are limit so it’s first come first serve. The place is very relaxed and quiet do the clientele being mostly 60+ which was fine by us. If you enjoy a livelier scene then this may not be your place. We enjoyed our stay and feel refreshed and relaxed. Lucia was more than helpful and attentive, thank you for having us at your place:)

We were very happy with our stay. Accomodations and the local were super !!

The only thing that would have made it better would have been a lower rental rate. We found this to be quite high. However, as I said, we are very happy with our experience.

Lovely Place

We had a wonderful time in this lovely condo. Balcony breakfasts with a fabulous view and limitless sunshine. Easy access to several restaurants and small grocery stores. Uber and taxis available. The town is interesting and comes alive on Thursday nights during the Art Walk in some intriguing galleries. Great variety of restaurants.

Beautiful Gardens and Poolside Relaxation

The complex is the best part. So quiet and relaxing by the pool was my favourite thing. Condo is clean but wifi doesn't work unless you go to the pool area. Pretty close location to the main strip, can use uber to get to and from for 50 pesos.

Can't wait to go back, amazing!

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The location is perfect, we walked on the beach every day. Zippers is a short walk away and a great spot for a late lunch. Shopping is close by for groceries and downtown was a 5 minute taxi ride away. We never wanted to leave the condo though!! It was well equipped, roomy, quiet and beyond perfect for two of us. The other residents/guests were awesome. Everyone was friendly and all seemed to know one another. They gave great advice on the best Happy Hour, shopping, local markets and restaurants. The fireworks on New Years Eve were some of the best I had ever seen. The beach was completely lit up from one end to the other. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Lucia for offering us your home and staying in touch to make sure our stay was comfortable! It was truly amazing!

Beautiful Property

The property is well maintained. Wifi s best outside on deck, after all you are in Mexico. Shopping just a 2$ bus ride away, there is always another one coming by, we walked down took bus back, no problems. I would get a car next time, no great shopping close by limited restaurants though cabs are reasonable,and are right to the left of building. 30.00$ American to airport. Also a Beautiful beach not for swimming tho.

Beautiful

The property was great, felt very safe. Was a little wired having the owner call me to scout me at first, then it made me feel like they really care, which was reassuring. The view from living room is fantastic. The waves crashing and proximity of beach is worth renting. The only issue was there is very poor internet, they said the HOA is working on it, but if u need internet, would not stay until they fix it. Everything else was great. Air conditioner is strong, and location is ideal if ur here for San Jose. They are on the third floor, so if u are a female, this adds a bit of protection. Nice owners too, would recommend.

A great, relaxing getaway

This unit in La Jolla is a lovely property. The beach view from the balcony leaves you wanting to never look away. The condo is well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen including a filtered water dispenser. There were plenty of linens and towels and oversized towels for the pool. We used the A/C some, but found the ceiling fans were very cooling and relied on them for sleeping at night. The unit was very clean. It was a very quiet place to be, we felt safe and very free to be a part of the community there. The grounds are quiet beautiful and very well maintained. We did wear sandals inside as the tiled floor could feel a bit hard. We did not rent a car but relied on taxis and the bus system. A short bus ride to La Comer for groceries is just 12 pesos. We walked on the beach to Zippers restaurant. We had many walks on the beach which is very clean and accessible. Lucia was very kind to give us some great tips on transportation and local info. We're ready to go back!

Property is well situated overlooking ocean, interior garden and two pools.

The property is well looked after and is functional with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Easy access to a lovely beach can enjoy long walks on this beach. Relatively quiet. Location is very accessible to all major road ways. Within a short distance by car to shopping for all your needs and approx. 20 min. walk to shopping. For longer stay access to laundry facilities would be beneficial. It is a three story walks up which wasn't a problem for us but could be for others. Signage on the buildings hard to see if arriving after sunset and finding security guard at that time of day not so easy. Wifi available but not always accessible.
