We had a fantastic stay at La Maison by Destination Big Bear. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and very well laid out for relaxing after a day on the mountain. Everything was exactly as advertised, and the home felt thoughtfully stocked and maintained.Destination Big Bear was easy to work with and responsive, and the entire experience felt smooth from check-in to check-out.We’d absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located Big Bear getaway.

This place was perfect. Very clean and spacious. Ally H with destination big bear made our trip even better with her hospitality. My only complaint is the driveway being very small and only allowing for 2 cars and even those 2 cars didn’t fit well. But that is an issue with the city. This was one of the best cabins we have stayed in.

Great House. Great Location!

We had 2 families. I love the set up of the house. Each room is spacious. Great kitchen and dining room. Spent a lot of time in the game room. Walked to and from the mountain each day...maybe a 10 minute walk. Would definitely go back.

Loved the living room, kitchen, and dining room, everything else quite lacking!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, great location, convenient to stores, sking and all activities! The living room area is very cozy with gas fireplace, no wood needed! Seating is limited to five comfortably. The room is pretty dark! Loved the play room with the pool table, thank you for the heater, as it was quite cold. The dining room has seating for six! The kitchen has a great stove, refrigerator was clean, counters were clean, the floor was filthy (Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months) and past quests left the broiler pan above the refrigerator, filled with grease and food. The kitchen could have more mixing and serving bowls and at least one cookie pan for broiling veggies. The bedroom walls are dirty, the bed coverlets in one of the rooms were filthy, turned it over, and it was worse on the other side! Definitely bring your own blankets, thank goodness we did! The bathrooms were nice however once again, the floors were pretty dirty! It wouldn't take much to upgrade this house, some paint to the bedroom walls, new bed spreads and a better cleaning service!

Fun stay, would like to return

The house is very spacious and areas spread out for privacy, or if you want to do group activities. Kitchen supplies for cooking were there. Be ready to climb stairs as going from room to room often requires it. Outside was quite dusty, but the area of town was in the middle of pollen season from local floral. Enough cleaning supplies for the 2 of us. Jacuzzi was nice, but there was not much we could adjust besides on/off & lights. The master bath did have some trouble with the toilet & the door of the shower had trouble closing. The views were great, very close to Pine Knot Ave with the shops & restaurants. Moths want to be your friend here, so be careful with doors and windows without screens. All in all, my husband & I enjoyed our first vacation as a couple.

Hopefully, you were able to see one or two sunsets on your trip, and The place is closed to every shop & restaurant. Having a home that feels roomy having the bonus of a Jacuzzi adds charter to the home. Unfortunately, during the time of your arrival, we were experiencing a high amount of moths throughout the entire town. This was not just your home but in the valley. This is not a normal occurrence, as we are in the mountains this is something completely out of our control. We are also unhappy to know that you encountered an uneasiness during your stay. If you have informed about the cleanliness, Jacuzzi, and Master bath issue during your stay we definitely send our maintenance team and provide instant help. We are really appreciating your patience and bring to our notice so that in the future we could able to improve the service. With Regards, Destination Big Bear

Get weekend getaway

The cabin was very spacious. It was equipped with everything we needed. Only downside was the flies. Definitely recommend.
