The Space:
Make your way into this grand historic home be greeted with the perfect blend of ornate traditional features and modern, updated luxury.

FIRST FLOOR
Relax in the sun-filled living area with a plush sofa and chic accent chairs that surround the fireplace and smart tv giving you access to all your favorite streaming apps to keep everyone entertained.

The beautiful custom kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, sleek granite benchtops and everything you could need to cook up breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a French door fridge/freezer with a filtered water an ice dispenser, a freestanding oven and cooktop, a built in microwave, a dishwasher to take care of all the cleaning up and a coffee maker to help kick start your day.

Serve up your meals in the eclectic dining room with beautiful chandelier lighting over the large table set for eight and even a highchair for the little one. There is also a handy half bath on the first floor where you can wash up before dinner.

SECOND LEVEL
Take the soft carpeted stairs up to the second level of the home which is made up of 3 spacious bedrooms and a lavish central bath with a stunning antique vanity stocked with all the essentials.

Bedroom one offers a luxuriously large king bed topped with rich, hotel quality linen and bedding along with a Pack n’ Play cot by the decorative fireplace.

Bedroom two is also filled with a large king bed while the bright bedroom three across the hall has a queen bed and soft bench seating.

LEVEL THREE
Take the next flight of stairs up to the third level and onto the landing. Off this space is bedroom four with a comfortable queen bed and the generous bedroom five across the hall that is ideal for young families with a large king bed and a lovely nursery area with a crib and a chair by the window.

There is an elegant full bathroom with a relaxing clawfoot bath perfect for a bubble bath of an evening and a large, tiled walk in shower equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Also on the third level is the laundry nook with a washing machine and dryer along with complimentary washing powder so you can pack light and wash on the go.

BASEMENT LEVEL
The basement level of the home is a sanctuary all of its own with an open plan concept where you can come and relax on the modern chaise lounge, mix up a drink at the full wet bar, watch the game or settle in for a movie night on the Smart TV.

There is an additional two bedrooms off the living space with bedroom six offering a chesterfield style queen bed and bedroom seven with its chic exposed stone walls that also features a comfortable queen bed.

To complete the space, there is a third full bathroom with a walk in corner shower and a small vanity stocked with a hair dryer, amenities and soft fluffy towels for each guest.

The Neighborhood:
The home is located within the historic Soulard District and is walking distance of dozens of local restaurants, bars, and a microbrewery. There is also a grocery store and other amenities such as barbers, pharmacies, etc all close by.

Visitors can enjoy an endless section of entertainment in the Soulard district year-round, including craft beer at International Tap House, oysters and crawfish on the beautifully-landscaped patio at Molly’s in Soulard, homemade cupcakes at Sweet Divine, Irish stew at McGurk’s, and blueberry-flavored margaritas at Chavas Mexican Restaurant.

Take part in a Pub Crawls that are held throughout the neighborhood and on the music front, Soulard offers some of the city’s best jazz, blues, folk and rock music options.

With over 30 bars, restaurants and quirky shops that are scattered throughout the narrow tree-lined streets, every one offers an elaborate outdoor courtyard, patio or sidewalk area from which to enjoy the beautiful historic scenery.

For history buffs, Soulard is host to the city’s oldest church and the oldest building and for the brave there are several haunted houses, including The Darkness, located near the former Welsh Baby Carriage factory.

Some must visit award winning restaurants and cafes within Soulard is Bogart’s Smokehouse for Americas Best Ribs, the Capitalist Pig BBQ, John D. McGurk’s Irish Pub and Sidney Street Café.

When visiting in January the area hosts the third largest Mardi Gras Festival in the world and includes loads of entertainment including the Family Carnival, Snow Ball Softball Tournament, Wine & Whiskey Tasting, Cajun Cook-off, Taste of Soulard, pub crawls and of course, the main event, Grand Parade Day!

Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by car with most highways conveniently nearby. You can also use the Metrolink light rail system to get to many major attractions. Metro's efficient light rail system offers stops throughout the city.

St. Louis also has both UBER and Lyft available. You'll also see lots of Lime and Bird electric scooters throughout the city, so you can zoom wherever you'd like!

ABODEbucks loves hosting guests of all creeds, races, and nationalities. This said, to protect neighborhoods and properties from parties, reservation inquiries from local guests with few or no reviews will likely be denied.

PRIVACY-SAFE NOISE MONITORING
This home is equipped with NoiseAware monitoring devices that alert us if noise levels increase over reasonable levels. This allows us to reach out and request that levels are reduced to reasonable levels. To protect your privacy, the monitors do not record audio.

GUEST VERIFICATION
SafelyStay, Inc., verifies the identity of guests, and checks criminal databases in order to confirm reservations.

TRUST & SAFETY
The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury.

The Trust & Safety Fee allows the security deposit to be waived, while protecting you, your group, and the property should an accident happen. The $88 fee is collected at the time of payment and may be labeled as “Trust & Safety Fee” or “Management Fee”.

NIGHTLY PRICING
Our goal is to provide each guest with a wonderful stay at a great value. The nightly price has been pre-discounted based on the market value of your requested dates.

EXTRA GUEST FEE
For groups of more than 7 guests, please note the extra guest fee of $15/person/night starting with the 8th guest. This fee is automatically applied based on your guest count.

COVID-19 CLEANING CERTIFIED
The entire ABODEbucks team has completed "Health, Cleaning, Disinfecting and Personal Protective Equipment for Workers who Clean Vacation Rental Homes" certification and have been trained on today's best practices to keep guests safe and healthy by following strict and elevated cleaning guidelines. You can rest a bit easier when staying with ABODEbucks.

HOUSE RULES
This home has been carefully designed and outfitted for the comfort of vacationers and business travelers. Please do not inquire if the following items don't work with your plans.
- Primary renter must be 25+ years old
- Pets are not permitted on the property
- No smoking inside the home
- No additional guests - If more guests are expected, please add them to the reservation
- No Parties - If the guests exceed the number stated in your reservation, it will be considered a party
- Quiet time is 10pm - 9am (including weekends).  The neighbors are proud of their quiet, peaceful neighborhood and we ask our guests to be respectful. Please keep voices and music down during quiet hours.
- Outdoor areas off-limits after 10pm
- Nothing can be taped, pinned, or attached to walls, ceilings or hung from the lighting fixtures. Absolutely no glitter or confetti.

Great stay
Was perfect for our group, adults without kids had the second floor and family with kids had the third and the lower level so there was space for everyone. Plenty of bathrooms, owners were immediately responsive to questions. Great neighborhood and close to sites and attractions we wanted to see. Wonderful family vacation

Not quite for the money . . .
We had a very easy check in & plenty of rooms, beds for sleeping and bathrooms. Close proximity to attractions. The refrigerator/freezer was broken, showed an error, management notified & no one came to check it. The floors were dirty, the rugs not vacuumed & mice present. While not the owner’s fault, the street was quite noisy at night.

Family Christmas
We were looking for somewhere local as our past 3 years of celebrating our family Christmas was in the Ozarks. We were not disappointed at all, this place was 15 minutes away from home and we felt like we were in an entirely different state. We have 2 todlers and they enjoyed the steps.This was truly a family vacation. Christmas was a blast for us 2023 Thank you
