Beachfront Sebago Cottage w/ Deck + Grill!

We're so glad you enjoyed the cottage and loved being able to step right off the deck onto the beach. Thank you for sharing this!

Hi Robert, we want our guests to feel completely comfortable during their stay, and we’re sorry to hear that some aspects didn’t meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We sincerely apologize that some items were overlooked during our cleaning process and would have addressed them immediately if we had known during your stay.- We always do our best to check-in with guests while at the home to ensure a positive experience.- The window A/C and box fan have since been cleaned to ensure they’re ready for use by future guests.- A Keurig coffee maker will be considered as a possible future upgrade in the kitchen.- The cleaning team has been notified to conduct a deeper clean, to prevent any dust buildup. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the outdoor space and beautiful lake view! Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we hope to provide a more seamless experience for future guests.

Kathy, thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. We've shared your feedback with the homeowner who has let us know that they unfortunately were affected by hurricane Ian around the time of your visit and were not able to properly set up the outside furniture ahead of time. They also wanted to share that they have looked into the heat issue, and are working on a permanent fix. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!

We have a comment about your stay from the owner to pass along: “Hi David, thank you for your review and for liking our beach and swimming, which is second-to-none. - While the open condo deck is visible by other people, it is your own separate deck with an outdoor fireplace. I’m sorry that you weren’t aware a condo is the same as an apartment living situation. - Yes, there is building material in our driveway, but it is all to one side and kept orderly. I apologize for the temporary eyesore you experienced, but the temporary noise is kept to a minimum during daylight hours. - Sorry that you felt like there were detours to get to your vehicle. I mention that parking on my listing is for one vehicle and that additional parking is one street down. Again, sorry for the construction if the cars were in my driveway."
