Large 5 bedroom/5 bath home with amazing ocean views. Home sleeps 15 with inverted floor plan . Our house includes everything you need to have a memorable relaxing week at the beach.
The incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and beach from the kitchen, great room and master suite and bedrooms. The house has multiple covered decks that you can enjoy the ocean views. There is a fenced in private backyard pool that can with an outside shower with hot and cold water. There is an elevator if needed.
The reversed living house plan has views for everyone to enjoy. Go to the roof deck and enjoy all the water views. This large sun deck has completely unobstructed views of the entire island.
The gourmet kitchen has full ocean views and everything you need including two refrigerators/freezers with icemakers and convection oven. The open floor plan allows everyone in the kitchen to enjoy the entertainment of the great room, large screen TV and fireplace.
The first level of the house has three bedrooms and a laundry room with H/E oversized washer and dryer. The master suite includes a king bed, TV , master walk in closet and opens to the deck with ocean views.
The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin bunk beds with two additional trundles sleeps 4 people opens to the ocean view deck.
The third bedroom includes a full size bed with twin trundle sleeps 3 and opens to the rear deck overlooking the pool. Each of these bedrooms include private sink/vanities and a large shower garden tub.
The second level has two additional bedrooms. Bedroom 4 has a queen bed sleeps 2 private bath and shower unit and deck overlooking pool. The 5th bedroom has a queen bedroom sleeps 2 and connects with a tub/shower unit.
This house is a one of a kind for Ocean Isle Beach.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing island with clean sandy beaches and a quiet family oriented atmosphere. This island is the perfect place to enjoy biking , jogging , kayaking or the latest best seller .

We had a lovely stay at this home in OIB. The views from the front deck are incredible! Easy, short walk to the beach access across the street. The home was well equipped with what we needed in the kitchen, and linens are provided. The home itself has some exterior wear from salt water overtime, but this did not take away from our experience. The owners were responsive when we needed anything. We would stay here again.

Convenient walk to the beach and clean rooms. Excellent deck areas for sitting outside. The front of the house and roof could use a touch up but overall wonderful experience. Host was very communicative and helpful.

Great house near the beach

The house looks different than listing-run down inside and out. Shower and Tub - water backing up, pet urine stains found on walls, loud construction all week and was unable to enjoy the balcony's, elevator issues, bathroom door off track, the items in closets were disorganized and most of items were damaged and unable to use. Hard to work with owner. He was supposed to call me to go over issues and he has been ignoring me. Overall experience was unsatisfactory. Will never book there again.

Thank you for the feedback. Sharing a bit of perspective here, because making this stay great from start to finish was always the goal. A brand-new travel crib was ordered and shipped to the home ahead of arrival at no charge, simply to make sure one would be ready and waiting, so the family was fully accommodated from the moment they walked in. Anytime something came up during the week, it was handled quickly. One item was addressed within an hour of the call, before check-in had even happened. Communication stayed open and responsive throughout, with a follow-up afterward to make sure the trip had been everything they hoped for. A few of the concerns in this review came together only after checkout, alongside a request for a discount. Several would have gladly been handled in the moment if they’d been raised at the time. Others, like construction by a neighboring property elsewhere on the island, were something no one here was notified of or had any control over. As a policy, refunds and discounts are never traded in exchange for changes to a review. Every guest is treated the same way, and being fair and genuinely responsive matters more than anything. Hosting this group was a pleasure, and we wish them nothing but the best.

We loved the location and the house. The pool was a huge plus for the kids! The cleaning crew could've done a better job though before we arrived.

Relaxing Week with Beautiful Location

This property was great. Just one row off the beach but a real short walk to access. Beautiful views of the ocean with no homes in the way. Property manager was great and accommodating with the little changes we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The house had everything we needed, plenty of space (there were 7 of us) and was very clean! The owners were very helpful & responsive. We would definitely recommend this property & would absolutely stay again! Thank you for a wonderful family getaway!

Amazing Beach Home!!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beach home! The house is spacious, clean, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. The location is absolutely stunning with a truly unobstructed view of the ocean — we spent so much time just soaking it all in. Inside, the home had everything we needed to feel comfortable and cozy, just like being at home. From the fully stocked kitchen to the thoughtful touches throughout, every detail made our stay that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind by the sea!

Beautiful home at a beautiful location! The home was a perfect fit for our family. We enjoyed the beach in the morning came back and enjoyed the pool and then could enjoy the beach again from the big comfortable porches. We rocked our two year old to sleep almost every night on the porch listening and watching the surf!

Thank you so much for these kind words. We aim to please. We are making big improvements for 2024 to the decks, rails and pool. We also resurfaced and painted the dining room chairs and got a new sofa and chairs in the family room.

Wonderful Beach House!! Will rent again!!

We had a great vacation. The view was amazing. It was so nice to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings sitting on the deck looking at the ocean. Actually we spent a lot of time on the deck just relaxing. It was just a short walk to the beach access. The pool was also nice to play in when we weren’t on the beach. The elevator was so helpful. We took my 80 yo mom and aunt and it was easy access for them!! Will rent again!!

Great spot

This was a great home and clearly well maintained. There was some wear and tear to the patios as expected near the beach with high winds and salty air but the boards on the front porches look like they have just been replaced. The kitchen was well stocked, bed rooms were nice and we didn’t see any bugs inside during our stay. Pool was clean and heated outdoor shower was a plus. Easy and quick access to uncrowded beaches and a wonderful view!!!

Reese, i wanted to updated you that we are in the process of updating all five decks with new rails and new planks. We are also going to be updating the landscaping, removing rust stains and a few rotted pieces of wood. Also, We have also painted and resurfaced the dinning room chairs and table. I hope you will come visit our home again in 2024!

Owner is extremely nice and very responsive to any concerns. The house is worn. The out door furniture needs to be updated or replaced. The elevator needed to be reset several times and not for user error. Some of the call buttons did not work. The view is gorgeous. We just wished that the house was as in good as shape as the photos.

Great location, spacious house, nice pool!

Prompt and informative communication with owner. Very spacious and clean house, love having 2 full size fridges and microwaves! Very well stocked kitchen, good towels and bed linens. Nice balcony area and pool. Very close to beach access but nice to be further down the street where the beach isn't quite as crowded. Comfy couch in main room, very nice washer and dryer, all appliances worked great. Only complaint was kitchen chairs need new padding. We would highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

Quick update for you. We heard you and refinished and resurfaced the kitchen chairs and table. We have also updated rails and planks on all five decks. Pool is fixed as is elevator. Relaxing

Our stay overall was great. Couple areas in the bathrooms needed a little more cleaning but mostly very well maintained. The top sundeck was off limits due to needed repairs and the pool had a leak somewhere per the maintenance, so we had to keep adding water but not really a big deal. They came and checked the pool a couple of times too. We really enjoyed the quiet environment. A great place to enjoy the beach if you like it quiet but plenty of things to do within driving distance as well.

The Sweet Spot

So many things go into attempting to select the best property to maximize your overall experience when going on vacation, this property checks alll the boxes! As soon as you enter the home relaxation begins. The design, flow and cleanliness are exceptional. But most importantly the views of the ocean are stunning. The front decks offer unobstructed scenery that quickly dissolves any stress you may have inadvertently brought along. The owner is more than accommodating, easily reachable and is very much invested in your experience. We will choose this home as often as we can to escape and rejuvenate!!

The house was in a great location on Ocean Isle! The view of the beach from the upstairs kitchen/ living area and the front decks of the ocean was beautiful. I loved how much light and view you could see inside with all the windows. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch drinking our coffee in the morning. We were one street back from the beach but it felt like we were right on it with the views and not really any houses in front of us. We liked how close we were to beach entrances as well. The house was clean- but some things on property were just scattered around when we arrived, like old shoes, beach items, and the back area where the pool was -it just felt a little unkept, but I’m sure it was from the previous guests. It’s also a little older of a home and in areas feels somewhat worn. On the whole we enjoyed our time with family and appreciated the house and space.

OIB Rental

Our family had a great time at OIB. The house was very nice & clean with great views of the ocean from all the decks. We spent a lot of time at the pool (which we heated) since the ocean was pretty chilly. We had a difficult time with the elevator and there are a lot of stairs. A few things did not work such as the toaster and extra refrigerator but it was not a big deal. The owners responded quickly to all our questions.

Great and not so great

House was very clean and great view. Nice front decks but the back decks needed replacing. Wrought iron railing is not safe. Some rotten boards in decking and the “crows nest” needs to be taken down. It is an accident waiting to happen. The pool was nice, however there was a leak somewhere so had to add water each day. Dining room table, chairs and bar stools needed to be replaced also. But we enjoyed our stay with family but would not book again.

Maxine, we hear you and are taking action. As I type, we are finalizing replacement of all rails and planks on all five decks. The pool leak has been fixed and we upgraded the sofa and chairs in the family room with new items and also resurfaced the dining room chairs and table. I think you will be very happy with the updated and upgraded home! Please book again in 2024!
