The best of the coast all for you here at the Peaceful River Cabin. This newly redecorated cabin sits directly on Bon Secour River. This 2 bedroom 1 bath is ideal for your vacation get away. Open concept Kitchen, dining and living room. 2 bedrooms with room enough for 6 people with a King size bed in the master and two twins in the second bedroom, also a couch with a bed in the living room. Bright colors and comfortable furnishings. Outside living is where you will want to be with plenty of seating to fully enjoy the view. .
There is so much to do or do nothing at all but gaze out over the beautiful scenery. You can fish right off your pier directly in front of the house, the pool is steps away so the kids can come and go as they please while you relax and watch the tide roll in or roll out. You can grill your catch and eat on the patio. then go for a sunset cruise in your boat (if you choose to bring one) in Mobile Bay, only 15-20 minutes by boat. We often times have dolphin come up in the river to feed and teach their young right in front of the house! Kayak or just float in the river. We have friendly neighbors too. Many birds to watch - Brown Pelicans all year with White migrating Pelicans in the winter. Ducks and migrating ducks also, Cranes, Heron and occasionally seagulls too. You can reach the fisheries by boat also, what a treat to go pick up your dinner by boat and return to cook it and dine by the water. Just in case the fishing trip did not go well, just pick up your "catch" on the way home.
We are located 5 minutes for the fisheries where the shrimp boats come in so you will have access to the freshest shrimp and seafood everyday. Aquillia, Billy's and Bon Secour Fisheries.
There are many activities and attractions very close. Waterville water park, go-karts at The Track, numerous putt, putt locations, Orange Beach has a large public fishing pier, zip line, many charter fishing marinas including Zeke's, Outcast, San Roc Cay, Sportsman. Great restaurants everywhere and many Golf Courses to choose from. But most important is the BEACH, only 10 >< minutes drive. There is SO much to do if you choose with in 10-20 minutes drive.
Of course we feel like the best activities are right at your door step.

Book this for my wife and her sisters for a getaway. The place was incredible. Very nice, clean and comfortable with incredible views.Host was great to work with, would recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away, but still be close to anything you need

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was is a great location, quiet, and. clean. We enjoyed having the kayaks for the whole family to kayak around and fish and take in the scenery. We also enjoyed catch crabs. Would stay here again in the future.

Drive down from Minnesota went well. Weather was nice for the first four days a little rainy the last day. Place is very neat and tidy lots and lots of local stuff to look at will have to come down another trip to look at more of it. Very pleasant experience.

Nice getaway

We wanted somewhere we could relax but still be close enough to the beaches. Located out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist flooded areas. We enjoyed the pool, fishing and kayaks. We really loved all the wildlife including dolphins that swam right to our dock.

We had a great stay, super peaceful and even had dolphins come near our deck. We did not catch as many fish as we had hoped for, but enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Also conveniently located close to all the shops, restaurants, and beaches. It really is a perfect location to have a bit of it all.

Amazing!!

My family and I stayed for a week and we absolutely loved this place! It was so nice and quiet. We really enjoyed the peacefulness. The owner was very quick to respond and was really nice. We were right in the middle of everything but still secluded from the heavy traffic. We will definitely be back!

Serenity Along the River

The condo was quaint. The river serene. We enjoyed watching pelicans, heron, osprey, turtles, and even saw dolphins swimming up the river! Kayaking the river was a highlight. And only 15 minutes to the ocean without all the busyness. Wonderful place!

Nice location

Throughly enjoyed this location. We stayed 5 days and this location was great. Nice to be away from the beach crowd. Itā€™s a quick 15 mins drive to the beach and major attractions for all your daytime fun and than a nice quiet evening back at home. Had fun using the kayaks and fishing from the dock even got to see a few dolphins come in during the morning. Will be booking again on our next trip down. Jason gave me a call a few days before my trip and let me know all the key details and some good local info and was a great host.

Amazing

This place is amazing! Beautiful river view, a dolphin frequently comes in and swims close to the deck, super clean with all the amenities of home. The property owner is very easy to work with and reach if there is anything needed (doubt if you would need anything because you ha e it all there!) Outta the busy city but close enough to drive for the day and see the sights. Completely would stay here again if we were to return!

Serene Stay

Iā€™ll start with the fact that the owner called us prior to our check in date to review the information for checking in. He was kind and informative. We really appreciated him taking the time to do that.The property is perfect for some peace and quiet after days on the beach and site-seeing. Thereā€™s a little bar and grill at the front of the property as well. We felt like we were just far enough away from the beach to get away from all the bustle of the festival, but close enough to everything we needed. The house was very clean, beds comfortable, thereā€™s a pool to use, my husband appreciated the extra fan too! We plan on reserving this place many more times!

Perfect location and great host!

The listing really doesn't do this condo justice. The setting is absolutely beautiful and it was perfect for our family of four and small dog. The kids had tons of fun things to keep them occupied so even when we weren't off out and about they were at the pool or kayaking or fishing, rather than waiting around. Beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and Jason was super responsive. We hope to come back in the future if we are able!

Wonderful vacation rental

This rental on the Bon Secour River was excellent. Comfortable and clean, well kept, nicely furnished and stocked with necessities. Peaceful and relaxing. Saw dolphins, cranes and lots of other birds, some turtles and gators. Caught some blue claws and fed a lot of bait stealers. Well shaded so you can avoid the heat for a good part of the day. We give it a two thumbs up.
