Agave Sunday House combines the historic elements of the old Sunday house with modern charm. Interior rock walls, new and fresh furnishings, lovely spacious walk-in shower and cozy outdoor front patio. Come open the front door and step back in time!!

* Rates for this property are based on double occupancy, additional persons beyond 2 will be charged $35 per person per night

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

Our stay was magical! The cottage was perfectly nestled close to every thing and so so so charming!!! Sitting on the porch, taking in the beauty of this town as we sat and enjoyed life was refreshing. Relaxing in the room too was just tops!!!!

We loved our stay!

We stayed in the Agave Sunday House and it was absolutely lovely!! We were able to sit on the porch at our cottage and enjoy live music and good food from the restaurants across the street. We enjoyed being able to stay in our own space and yet enjoy so much of Fredericksburg.

Amazing location, but too warm

The location was fantastic—just a short walk to everything downtown! I was pleasantly surprised by the bed; despite what some reviews mentioned, I found it comfortable. My only issue was with the temperature. The thermostat read 68, but it definitely felt warmer, especially at night. During the day, it was great for relaxing, but at night I could only sleep with a sheet or I’d wake up sweating. I’d absolutely stay here again—just not during the summer months!

Charming but not worth the price

The place was charming, but not quiet. It is directly across the street from restaurants. There was trash pickup early in the morning before 7 twice during our stay (once on Sunday). There was yard maintenance around 6:30am Monday morning.

Don't Book Absolute Charm - Urgent Warning!

We stayed at Absolute Charm Property in Fredericksburg from April 5th to April 7th for a wedding. Unfortunately, the home did not match the listing photos:Condition on Arrival:We arrived late Saturday night, completely exhausted from traveling and preparing for the wedding Sunday. We immediately noticed patches of mold/fungal growth, and a strong musty odor that made the space uncomfortable.Listing vs. Reality:The Vrbo gallery shows a bright, freshly updated home—what we got was water stains, discoloration, and obvious maintenance issues.Communication Breakdown:We reached out to Absolute Charm on Monday morning (after staying with relatives Sunday) and they asked for photos. I sent them on Tuesday when we got home, they replied that a mold expert had visited and determined it wasn’t mold. When I requested a copy of that report, they said they’d run a second test on Friday April 11th. and promised results by Monday April 14th. It’s now been 2 weeks since the first report and we still haven’t received either the initial or follow‑up test results—nor have we heard another word from Absolute Charm. (On the bright side, Vrbo refunded our 45 cleaning fee, and they told us that if we’d called sooner they could’ve refunded the entire stay—don’t make that mistake!)No Photos Allowed in Reviews: Vrbo doesn’t let you upload photos in your review, so future guests may not see these serious issues until after they book.

Loved it!...But...

We absolutely loved this cottage and the location can't be beat. However, the mattress has seen better days and needs to be replaced badly. It's beyond just being "soft", but rather has no support and sags in the middle. Both myself and my husband had 2 sleepless nights because of the mattress.

Clean and conveniently located. Loved the old charm. We were awakened early each morning with road construction. This would have been a perfect stay if the loud construction hadn’t been going on. We will definitely need to come back once road is finished.

30th Anniversary

It was a very cute little cottage very clean close to the Main Street but the mattress was horrible for someone in their 70. Too soft and the bed squeaked with every turn!! For older people you should have a reference paper for the television But other than that it was nice

Great Place

My husband and I were very comfortable in the Sunday House. We loved how close it was to the main street and restaurants. The bed was so comfortable. There was parking in the back, so we didn’t have to park in the street. Super clean. Lots of bedding and most importantly extra pillows. We have already talked about coming back to stay.

Charming place to stay

A quaint little cottage with plenty of room for two. The location is incredible and Absolute Charm was very responsive to emails and calls as we prepared for our honeymoon! Will definitely stay here or in another cottage on our next trip!

Very Good

We loved our stay in the Agave Sunday House celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The location is awesome! We went during a cold snap and the unit was nice and cozy. I believe this rental best suits a couple.

I love this little cottage. Very comfortable and just one block off of Main Street. I have stayed at several cottages in and around town and this one is my favorite!! The rock and stone construction is just amazing!! The whole cottage is an amazing place to play!!! Highly Recommended!!
