Guests will experience a sense of the country farmhouse feel with elegant touches and spacious surroundings. The full kitchen is a unique feature for guests who prefer to dine in of an evening, or to gather around the kitchen bar area for pre-dinner cocktails, before heading out to one of the many and diverse restaurants that Fredericksburg offers.

- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

Wonderful Stay!

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary this past weekend. We’ve been to Fredericksburg about 6 times in the past 8 years and this was by far the best experience we have had! We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Super clean!

Great getaway!

Really enjoyed the roominess of this property even though it was a one-bedroom! Nice high ceilings and wonderful decor. The host provided everything we needed. Location can’t be beaten!

The accommodations were great. Beautifully decorated and spacious. Very close to (walking distance) Main Street and restaurants. Only negative was the morning wake up from garbage trucks at businesses behind the place.

One of our favorites!

This rental is great if you want convenience of walking to Main St. and many restaurants! The bed is comfortable and it has an outdoor gazebo that we so much enjoy in the mornings while drinking coffee. We've stayed here many times but this last time there was hardly anything to drink coffee or water out of…only two coffee mugs and a couple of glasses. Also, there used to be a blanket or throw I could use on the couch but that is no longer there. Definitely y'all need an extra blanket for anyone who may get chili at night or want something to sit with on the couch! Overall we love this place and will come back but hopefully it will be stocked with more things to drink from and a lb extra blanket!

When we arrived to the property it seems the owner had also rented the property out. Our party of six who had traveled over 4 hours had to spend the rest of our day trying to figure out where were going to stay. Very disappointed that the owner did not honor our reservation. Very disappointed booking company did not verify our reservation with owner. We tried to turn this unfortunate event around but were reminded of it when our wine tour bus the next day showed up at the wrong address. I have never had this kind of experience before and have reserved multiple properties with VRBO. Very disappointing!

The location was just excellent since it's only 1 block from Main Street and in walking distance to so many restaurants/events. Very quiet place to stay. However, was very disappointed to see the outdoor area had not been cleaned at all (table in the gazebo covered with bird poop as was the light fixture above it and on the furniture pillows. Someone did come to pressure wash off the table but left the pressure washer right in the MIDDLE of the steps going out of our door and a person could easily have tripped over it. Hubby moved it and it was still in that location when we left one week later). Had to communicate with management regarding that matter and also several things in the cottage (i.e. many light bulbs burnt out - some replaced after informing but not all; no extra bathroom paper - had to request more; purchased glass dishes that could be used in the microwave because all of the dishes there could not be used in it; the light/fan control above the oven range came down when trying to turn on these features). A wonderful facility in so many ways but many areas that management needs to do a very thorough going over that ALL features in the cottage work and that the lovely outdoor area is clean to enjoy to use it.

Excellent Fredericksburg Experience

First time staying in Fredericksburg was an absolute wonderful experience. The Agave Nest was wonderful, huge rooms, clean, charming and very inviting surroundings. We were only one block from main street, with two live bands within 1/2 block away. Restaurants, shopping, plus historical museums were within very easy walking distance. We are looking forward to coming back soon and would love to get the Agave Nest again.

Great rental near downtown

This is our third rental through Absolute Charm and we highly recommended their proprieties. This particular rental was perfect for a group as there are individual cottages with a shared courtyard, and we will definitely book in the future.

Great cottage in great location

We stayed at this cottage in Fredericksburg to attend a wedding over the weekend. My husband and I were looking for a decent place close to downtown Main St. so that we could walk and not drive around. This place was the perfect fit. It is located about a 1 to 2 minute walk from Main street and close to restaurants and shops, there is no need to drive. The cottage is very lovely, very quaint and cozy. It is small but perfect for two people, there is an open space living room and kitchen area and decent size bathroom and bedroom. There is a cute shared courtyard outside with a fire pit and outside seating. The only complaint/nuisance we had as others have complained about is the water pressure in the cottage. It is extremely low and was difficult to get the soap out of our hair in the shower. It in no way ruined our experience and I would still highly recommend this cottage.

Very cool spot in great location

Accommodations were very stylish and chic. My wife loved the interior decor and furnishings. It is within walking distance of main street, restaurants, and shops. I would definitely recommend it. The one and only hiccup was the water pressure...but that was a minimal inconvenience, all things considered.

AMAZING LOCATION! Beautiful Property

My husband and I stayed in the agave nest and it is absolutely stunning. The decor is beyond anything we have seen. You are a block away from Main Street that has absolutely everything you can imagine and quick access to the road for several winery’s and grocery store. Only 2 things that we would suggest for the property manager. A full length mirror somewhere and the water pressure in the shower was sub par. But even with those things we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic location!

This property was fantastic and a great little getaway for the wife and me. I’ll go through the pros and cons below but it’s really all pros because the “cons” are just to be fair because they really weren’t a big deal (to me at least). Pros: Location, location, location!! This property is located one block off the center of Main Street! Less than a quarter mile from EVERYTHING: coffee shops, shopping, restaurants, wine tasting rooms. The location of this property deserves 10 stars. Beautfully decorated. Very well done, super trendy, upgraded appliances, great decor. This place was so nice to stay in! The bed! Beds in rental units can be hit or miss. This one was a hit! Awesome memory foam mattress and so very comfortable! Awesome shared courtyard! Although a burn ban was in effect so we couldn’t do a fire, the courtyard was so nice to just sit and enjoy coffee and talk. It is shared amongst multiple units but we never saw anyone else out there. The cons: again, not really cons since most (not all) could be easily fixed. So, I prefer to call it feedback. Low water pressure. Took the shower a little bit to get going but after a while it heated up perfectly. I’m a guy so water pressure isn’t a huge deal to me but the Mrs did mention it. Only 1 drinking glass. There were 2 wine glasses, a couple coffee mugs, and 1 drinking glass. I know you’re meant to spend your time out on the town but still need some more glasses in the unit. The trash truck comes at 6 am on Thursday’s. And they bang that bin over and over. Again, not a big deal and nothing the owners can really do about this one. Maybe talk to the city?? Overall, this place is easily 5 stars. The pros were huge and the cons were really just feedback. I would definitely stay at this place again!!

Great spot!

We really enjoyed this property, with the exception of the upstairs property. Not sure if it is always this way but we could hear every movement they made and they ended engaging in a loud argument for over an hour. It made the rest of the stay very uncomfortable as we had to call the property manager.

Beautiful home for a quiet weekend!

We rented this with two other couples for a weekend away! It was a great house with everything you need to cook in. We loved the grill out back and the fire pit. The hot tub wasn't heating properly our first night, but the property manager had it fixed within hours of us notifying them and we were able to enjoy it our second evening! Awesome property!
