LOCATION

Paradise Ridge Retreat is located in a quiet neighborhood off Paradise Road in Bethel, Maine, voted the #1 Ski Town in North America.

The home has stunning views of Walkers Mountain in the distance.

Bethel Village is walking distance away, where you can take advantage of village amenities including Gould Academy, Bethel Inn Resort with adjoining golf course, and quaint local shops and restaurants.

Sunday River Ski Resort is a short ten-minute drive to the North, and Mt. Abram is an easy ten-minute drive to the East.

THE HOME

Our brand-new, spacious and comfortable home offers nearly 2600 square feet across 3 levels including:
* large and open great room/dining area with cathedral ceiling and expansive windows facing the mountain view
* fully-outfitted gourmet kitchen
* 2 master bedrooms both with king beds and en suite bathrooms
* upper sleeping loft with two twin beds (and the best views in the house!)
* guest bedroom with queen bed
* guest bedroom with 4 twin bunk beds
* laundry room
* daylight-basement rec room with wide screen TV, gaming system, and air hockey table

A gas fireplace in the great room keeps guests cozy in the winter.

Central air conditioning throughout the house keeps our guests cool and comfortable in the summer.

Solar backup generator keeps electricity on throughout the house, even during power outages.

The magnificent views from this home can be seen from either the upper or lower outdoor decks.
*The upper deck has a gas grill and outdoor seating for al fresco dining.
*The lower deck has a large, 7-person jetted hot tub with Bluetooth speakers, as well as additional, comfortable seating.

Enjoy gorgeous views from our firepit/patio with sitting wall in the backyard. Firewood is provided for your use.

Jack and Martha are exceptional host. We have been renting through VRBO for more than 10 days and their vacation home was the nicest place that we ever rented. It was very well stocked and everything that you can think of they had it ( even an extra toothbrush, toothpaste, and make up removal, shampoo, conditional,Q-tip)Their gorgeous Chalet was well kept and had up to date appliances. Their bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. It is located about 10-15 minutes from Sunday River. Jack sent a guy to plow the driveway and shoveled the steps for us because it snowed overnight. That was a 5 stars service! We really enjoyed our stay and we are looking forward to return in the near future!

This place needs to be experienced, not just viewed in the photos. It was high quality in every way-- furniture, linens, cooking paraphernalia, etc. It's set up perfectly for groups; the rooms are well placed along with the common areas. We spent most of our onsite time outside on the deck or at the firepit, taking in the magnificent mountain view.

This house is exactly as described. Well kept and very clean. Not far from downtown Bethel but felt remote. The is a house being built close by, but noise wasnā€™t much of a factor. We were gone all day.The host were easily to communicate with. Our stay couldnā€™t have been better.

Beautiful, organized and well stocked!

Jack and Martha were amazing hosts! They were attentive and extremely helpful. Jack would answer our texts within 5min! The home was clean, all drawers organized and our ocd was so unbelievable happy. Manuels on how everything works, so you were never confused how to turn something on or off. The laundry room was even stocked with tide laundry soap! The kitchen cabinets stocked with all kinds of seasonings, gorgeous pots and pans. My daughter is chef and she was thrilled to cook here. We made good food, great memories and canā€™t wait to rent this home for our big family vacation next July! The fire pit outside was magical and the views were breathtaking. We are planning on buying a home in the area for years- Jack even gave us his relatorā€™s number so we can start making connections to buy in bethel. Great host, amazing house, and magical area. If you are on the fence- jump and rent this home!

Perfect Place for multifamily vacation

This property is beyond compare. It has a beautiful view with wonderful rooms indoors and welcoming outdoor spaces. The kitchen is well equipped for anyone who likes to cook. We were three generations staying for a weekend to attend a wedding.The house gave us plenty of private space plus great common areas. The hosts are wonderful. They communicate well, have printed instructions for everything and keep the house well stocked for any possible need. Better than many luxury hotels. The comfortable beds and bed linens were top quality. We have no complaints and can't say enough about what a great place this is to stay.

Rent this house, you wont regret it!

The house is absolutely stunning and immaculately clean. It is well stocked and includes nearly any ammenity you could think of. We went up with 5 adults and 5 younger children as a weekend family getaway for a Grammyā€™s birthday/retirement gift. It was important to find a house that was family friendly, and this checks all the boxes. The sitting areas and dining room are plenty large for everyone. The beds/bedrooms rival anything you could possibly find at a luxury hotel. The kids loved the downstairs playroom/family room. And the hot tub is great! It was a cold rainy spring weekend and we all still had a great time. Jack and Martha were welcoming hosts; reaching out to us before to go over any questions we may have had and were easy to reach. The Paradise Ridge Resort is highly recommended from a family of 10.

What a great experience we all had while spending time with family for a wedding in Bethel. This is definitely one of the nicest rentals I have stayed in. It was exactly as described in the listing. Communication was great, check in and out was easy. The owner provided everything we could possibly need. The bathrooms were well stocked and the kitchen was better equipped than home. We all slept great. The beds were comfortable and the quality of the linens were high end. The location was spectacular. We were close to town but it felt so secluded and relaxing. We felt so Welcome!!

My husband, daughter and I stayed at this beautiful house in Bethel with two other families and their children. We all try to plan a ā€œfriends tripā€ every August and this beautiful home was exactly what we were hoping for. When I say that this house has everything that we all needed, Iā€™m not kidding. Itā€™s perfect. Jack and Martha are wonderful hosts and they go above and beyond to provide even the simplest amenities to their guests. They are also very thorough prior to the trip, with reaching out to contact the person who booked the trip, just to clarify things and ask if you have any questions or concerns. They are also readily available for anything. The last night we were there, we tripped a breaker in the downstairs bedroom. I messaged Jack right away but that happened to be after 9:00 at night. He responded so quickly and he even called to talk to my friend to correct the breaker issue and to make sure that we were able to get the bedroom back in working order quickly. They offered great customer service to our group and we had such a wonderful time during our stay. We definitely look forward to staying at this house again!

Outstanding property!

Our group of age 60+ high school buddies converge to hike the White Mountains every year. This is by far the most beautifully designed, perfectly appointed home we have booked to date. Jack called in advance to brief us on bear and moose sightings, and to review the check in process. The home is immaculate, and every amenity exactly as advertised. The spacious hot tub was a welcome balm to our worn out joints after climbing Mt Myriah! The fire pit is situated to offer views of the valley below. The kitchen is fully appointed with all of the tools any chef could wish for - plastic food storage bags even have a designated custom wood partitioned size-organized drawer! This property will be top of our list for next yearā€™s mountain adventure.

Amazing property!

This property was simply amazing! From the check-in to the check-out everything went very smoothly. All the personal items you would need (and totally forgot at home) were already there. Shampoo, conditioner, tooth brush and tooth paste, as well as contact case and solution were already stocked and waiting! Beds were amazingly comfy and hot tub was super relaxing! 3 families each with 2 kids slept and played from sun up to sun down!!

Wonderful stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay over MLK weekend. The house was beautiful, just as described and well stocked. Jack & Martha thought of everything--including books, puzzles, and a library of games to play! We were even able to sled on the hill outside. It was great!

For years, Jack and Martha Pesa had dreams of building a vacation home, where family and friends could gather to enjoy leisure-time activities, or peaceful scenic surroundings. They fell in love with the Bethel area after a family ski trip to Sunday River a few years ago - and instantly knew they had found the perfect location for their future vacation home.
