Unit #211 Sand Cay Beach Resort Pool View

Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo on the 2nd floor featuring over 1200 sq. with a beach theme. This unit was recently remodeled with new paint, new floors, appliances and granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms. New furniture throughout. Master bedroom is spacious with a comfortable king size bed and en suite with a large tv. Guest bedroom features 2 queen beds with blackout drapes to ensure a wonderful nights rest.

After a day at the beach, you can unwind in the den or our living room, which overlooks the pool with a beautiful garden view of the property with palm trees. This unit has it's own private balcony with shared amenities of the complex which include heated pool, shuffleboard, tennis courts and white sandy beach. Beach chairs are available free of charge for our guests. You will want to make this your home away from home every year!

Charming Condo Steps from Beach

We visit this little hidden gem annually for the Fourth of July. This particular condo was very clean and cute! We enjoyed our stay and already booked for next year! Highly recommend this place!

Great girls weekend getaway!

My daughter and two teenage granddaughters really enjoyed the accommodations. Everything we needed was there, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. it was nice not to have to pack our own There is plenty to do in the area and many places to eat, drink and watch beautiful sunsets. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent complex

We were there for a wedding at Zota and were much happier at Sand Cay than Zota. My Mom and I had a lovely visit.

Great Girls Getaway

The unit had nice large rooms with convenient beach access with chairs and no hassle of public beach access and crowded beaches. Nearby shops and dining in both Long Boat Key and downtown Sarasota. Would highly recommend!

Getaway to Longboat Key

The condo was in a great location, right on the beach. It had all of the amenities that we needed. Chaise lounges are on the beach, which was convenient. The property is clean and well kept. Our condo could use some new umbrellas, but other than that we were completely satisfied and would stay in that room again.

Our Fourth Stay and There will be more

We love this condo! We have actually stayed in unit 211 twice now, and it is perfect for a multigenerational family. We had our son, his wife and our (almost) three year old grandson. We all hadd a great time - the beach, the pool, shuffleboard and the convenience of being close to Sarasota. We'll definitely be back!

Great condo for our holiday week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the Sand Cay condo with our two adult sons. The place was well maintained and comfortable. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and good amenities. The only drawback was the layout of the kitchen area which was cut up and small whereas another family member stayed at another condo on the same floor that had an open layout that felt more spacious and comfortable.

Nice getaway and location

Been to Longboat Key numerous times. First time staying at Sand Cay though I have seen it for years. Very clean. Good location. Unit is good sized and laid out well. Only negative is that check in starts at 3 and the office closes at 4. They do have a spot for late arrivals and you can get in, but I don’t recall before nag told the office was only open till 4 and we got there exactly at 4. Staff on property were all pleasant.

Blue Skies for days

Longboat and the adjacent islands have good dining options and the Mote Aquarium is a must see. Very family friendly overall. My only concern, and it's a slight one, is that the mattresses were too soft for us. Other than that the location, people, in fact everything, was terrific.

Reviewer Comments: 7 nights feb 20 - 27th - did not realize both bedrooms had a view of the parking lot and the unit was right by the street and furthest from ocean - people above us were running around at 5am but only stayed a few days (ugh). View from TV room was the pool equipment. Other then that it was fine.

Great Beach Resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Sand Cay. I’d say the best thing about this resort is how well they provide for your needs. I’ve never stayed in any rental that had better provisions. It’s really hard to think through all the little things you will need and without exception when we needed something it was already there....dish soap, kitchen towels, a wine cork, trash bags, plastic cutlery, shower gel...that’s just the things we needed and forgot to bring along. The room was very clean and the beach provisions were great also. There were even some toys for my grandkids to play with in the closet.

Terrific Condo and Location

Our accommodations on beautiful Longboat Key were most enjoyable. Our unit was spacious, updated, and very comfortable for our family of four adults. The small terrace was a lovely addition to the living space.The location of the condo complex right on the beach was probably the highlight of our stay as well as having access to a community laundry facility, tennis court and racquets, and the pool. The complex also provided luggage carts and elevators which was convenient for the units on the 2nd and 3rd floors. On our very last day we encountered some drainage problems and the air conditioning stopped working. We communicated the issues to the office staff and within one hour maintenance help arrived at the unit to fix the issues. It was tremendously helpful to have the office staff available every day to help the guests. We would like to come again!

It took us less then a minute to check in. The condo was very cozy and welcoming. I love the private beach access. The condo had beach towels, umbrellas, life vest, beach toys for the kids and more. This was one less thing I had to bring on the trip. I will certainly stay at this resort again.
