Spacious 3 bedroom 3.5 bathroom home in private/gated community with large game room including 8 foot pool table, piano and game table. Kitchen is well equipped - just like home. Over-sized pool with heater and hot tub. (Flexible scheduling but you must contact me directly - send me a note with your requests) Between the homes location near the ocean and the amenities of the home, you will feel like you are staying at an upscale resort, but with privacy. There are bikes in the garage for your pleasure. The Oceanside Village, art museum, Riverside Theatre, Riverside Park / Memorial Island and beach stores are an easy 1.5 - 2 mile ride from this homes location. At the park, you will find tennis, racquetball courts and walking paths. The mainland and old down town is just back across the bridge. 14th Avenue is a 5 minute drive - which is the heart of old down town : art and restaurant district with Friday night art strolls and festivals.

Mary is an absolute host, the house couldn't be better! Everything in the description meets and met our standards, this was a really good house, great family vacation. The short walk to the beach was great and the extra beach chairs, bike, and umbrella were a great plus to have. Looking forward to coming back to Vero Beach! Thank you Mary!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful home in Vero Beach! The pool is amazing we spent a lot time in the pool and hot tub. The house has lots of amenities that we enjoyed including the pool table. Mary is an accomdating host and answered all our questions quickly. We loved our stay!

Great stay. Mary was a great host. Even brought new grill and vacuum cleaner. Came over in under 30 minutes when we had locked ourselves out!

Great Vacation in Vero Beach!

We enjoyed our stay in Castaway Cove. The house and location are fantastic. A short walk to both the bay and beach. Love the pool, heated to 88F! Mary is great to work with, and very responsive to any questions that we had. Hope to be back soon.

Perfect in every way

Our stay here exceeded all of our expectations. There was always something to do, from swimming, playing pool, to bike rides. It's in a perfect location close to our favorite restaurants and the neighborhood is just lovely to walk. Mary and Paul did a wonderful job of making sure their guests feel like they are at home. We highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to come back.

Oustanding Oasis!

We had a wonderful stay. Mary was an awesome hostess, house was super clean and stocked. We loved the location, river bay at one end of street and couple blocks down the other end was a nice private beach. Mary has convienent wagon, beach chairs, beach towels, and everything you need. We did a vaca but also had to work, plenty of spaces to work from. Our favorite spot was the lanai area by the pool. We look fowarded to staying again.

Happiness abounds

Absolutely loved this property!! Spent July 4th week at Mary’s beautiful home. Three 16 year olds, my brother and husband and I had more than enough space to spread out and find comfort. The beds are amazing! I slept so well all week. Beach is a hop and a skip. No one there most days. Seriously, !!’ We WILL be back. Thanks to Mary for being a great host and for sharing her home.

If you want luxurious accommodations, then you must stay at this property. All the rooms are furnished with their own style plus every bedroom had its own bathroom. Also there was a built in swimming pool and hot tub. This property is located in a gated community which always adds a nice flair. There’s even a music room with a pool table and piano which was very classy. The bay side is at the end of the block and the beach side is across the road in the sister development. Mary, the property owner, was extremely accessible and supplied us with everything a family could need minus our own groceries. The house was very comfortable and we were all very pleased. Thanks Mary! Hope to see you again!

Last rental for us

Interior is dated, dark & always cold, no need for a/c. Furniture is older and guest bedrooms are musty. Best fixtures are pool, pool table and newly updated master bath.

Perfect house & location for F_U_N!

Absolutely stunning property suited to a large group, or just a few friends & family. Beds are THE most comfortable in all our experiences over the years! Fabulous heated pool, large jacuzzi and a large game room with a piano, pool table, & a multitude of board games. Well situated in a 24hr, secured, gated community between Wabasso & Fort Peirce on Hutchinson Island (property was unaffected by recent storms) The location is private, but close to everything. Mary was the perfect host - accommodating, responsive and interesting. She made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Thanks Mary - hoping to have the whole clan there next time!!

A pleasant and enjoyable stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend booking your stay here. Mary's place is a wonderful oasis to relax and just soak in the sunshine! The home is situated in a quiet, private gated neighborhood. Most of the days my wife and I relaxed in the lanai area or soaked in the beautiful pool. We also took afternoon walks on the private beach a couple of blocks away from the home. The property is very private as it is surrounded by lush trees and hedges. You feel like you're in a private resort! It also has all the amenities you need. Don't waste your time searching the multitudes of places to stay, just stay here! You won't regret it! We plan on returning later this year if it's available. Mary, thanks again for allowing us stay in your lovely home!

Comfortable home in a wonderful beach community

My family and I had a nice relaxing week at this property. Mary is a great host and provided clear directions/instructions for the house, recommendations for restaurants/activities, etc. The house itself was comfortable and we especially liked the fact that the home has a large pool, hot tub, beach access and lots of pool toys, bikes and games. It is stocked with virtually everything you would need. Additionally, the home is a short drive to restaurants/shops, and the local beach and neighborhood are both beautiful! Two very minor cons were that the house is a little dated and the pool never got warm enough for us to really enjoy it. That was mainly due to colder weather, but we did pay extra for the pool heat and it didn’t seem to do much. Overall, this is a great option for the Vero Beach area.

Absolutely terrific!!!

If we could give Mary ten stars we would! We can’t say enough about her lovely Vero Beach home! This home is a private oasis that is surrounded by lush trees and scrubs in a gated community a few blocks from a gorgeous beach. The house is very clean, well maintained and well equipped with everything we needed for our extended stay. We used the bicycles to explore the area. And, the cart with chairs and towels made it easy to enjoy the beach. We are swimmers and really appreciated the large pool and hot tub. The spacious covered outdoor patio is terrific and we enjoyed it every day! There was plenty of room for our company with the extra bedrooms & bathrooms. Our company really enjoyed the pool table and the piano. Mary and Paul were very attentive and helpful. We are already booked for our next two-month stay!

A fun house

Our group of 5, sometimes 6 people, stayed here one week. Two preteen boys spent their time both by being in the pool and playing pool. Two ladies in their 40s got much needed R and R, pool side relaxing in the quiet environment. And two seniors got to play games with the grandkids, in and out of the pool, while also entertaining friends and family by grilling pool side and dining in the covered patio area, with plenty of seating. All of us liked our comfy beds and that there each bdrm had its own bath. Mary was an attentive host, meeting us and checking in from time to time. The area is very lovely, quiet, lush and private. I highly recommend this property. It's the 3rd house we've rented in Vero, but the best of them all.

PERFECTION

My husband and I stayed for a month and had a wonderful time. The heated pool, hot tub and spacious outdoor seating was just what we needed after a tough winter! The bedrooms were comfortable for company, allowing privacy and the game room was a hit! I highly recommend this home!

Perfect house for family gathering!

This house was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation! We spent most of our time outside by the pool and hot tub and the area is so private and beautiful with all of the plants and flowers. The house was very clean and worked well for our family. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom which was very convenient. The house has a terrific location, just a short walk to the ocean and a quick drive to restaurants, shops, parks etc. The host was warm, welcoming and extremely responsive.

Great stay in Vero!

This house is perfect for the large family. It was our family of four plus in-laws. The room setup was perfect. The house had everything. We needed for our week-long stay. The beach is a short walk and there was plenty of beach gear we used. Mary was a great host accommodating our super late check in and she got back to us quickly to answer questions. Would definitely stay here again.
