Truly a guest favorite, the beautifully decorated, romantic and centrally located ground-floor condo which promises quick and easy access to Kamaole II and many shops and restaurants . We have also added new AC in both living room and bedroom for total comfort year around.

Our private, peaceful lanai opens to a lush oasis of tropical plantings and lawn and is steps to one of two pools, as well as tennis / pickleball courts in the Kihei Akahi Resort. The tropically inspired decor of this inviting, family-friendly, well appointed unit ensures the perfect “Hawaiian Getaway” .

Great location

It was a short walk to the beach and the beach chairs provided in the unit were much appreciated. We enjoyed being on the ground floor. The whole complex was well maintained and the staff were helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

Great family vacation

This is the second year we have stayed at this condo. We love the property and community! Excellent spot with two fun pools, close to the beach, and a relaxing vibe. Our 2 year old loved seeing the chickens every morning from our lanai.

Awesome location and condo!

This property was such a great location! Couldn’t beat being able to walk a couple minutes to the beach, restaurants and shops! The condo itself was great as well, clean and updated. It was a little tight for a family of 4, but I would stay there again! The property owner was great and any questions we had were answered right away! Overall awesome stay!!

Awesome stay!!

The location is perfect in Kihei. Super close to the beach. The apartment/condo itself is clean and modern. We loved having the extra space along with a laundry/dryer to wash our clothes. The bed was super comfortable as well. They provide beach towels along with beach chairs that you can use which was super convenient.

Perfect location for a great family vacation

Beautiful,recently renovated condo in a great location.Very well equipped kitchen.Close to restaurants and supermarkets if you choose to cook as we did.Walking distance from the beach which is across the street.Very close to activities such as surfing,snorkeling and a bike shop.All in all it was one of the best vacations my family and I had and this condo was an essential part of it.We are definitely coming back.Aloha.

We will return

Very nice property. No ocean view, but the convenience of the location made it worth coming back. Besides, we wanted to be out at the ocean and beach, instead of just looking ant it. Also, the property is set back from Kihei Road, so there is no street noise. The king bed must be an expensive mattress, because it was one of the most comfortable kings we’ve slept on from a rental.

Kihei getaway

Maui is great, but this location in Kihei made it even better. Within easy walking distance to grocery stores and a good selection of restaurants . We didn't rent a car. When we did a major grocery run, we walked there and ubered home. 2 minutes to the beach. Very quiet, very relaxing. 18 days went by way too fast 😪

Kihei home away from home

We rented this property for 2 weeks in December. The condo is well equipped, beautifully decorated, and nicely updated. Kitchen has everything you would need to cook, refrigerator with the ice maker, new AC, beach towels, sand toys for the kiddo, beach umbrella, chairs, cooler and I can just go on and on. In one word it has it all. Convenient location with walking distance to Kamaole beach I, II, III and shopping.. We felt like we were home and enjoyed our stay. Thank you Terrie for sharing your place with us.

Great Kihei Location

This property was exactly as described. It has a central ac unit which is a super bonus as the whole condo stayed cool. There is a reserved parking space and it's a short walk across the street to the beach. Many amenities were provided, such as beach towels, chairs, beach umbrella, and a cooler. It even has an ice maker, making it super nice to fill up the cooler and take off to explore for the day. The owner was very prompt in answering any questions . The unit was spotless, beautiful and relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Can I stay forever?

The condo was perfect! It was a great fit for our family of 4 (dad, mom, 5yr boy and 2yr boy). Being on the ground floor was great for the kids to go out and sit on the grass while getting ready to go out. The condo was updated and so comfortable. There was a good stock of beach going stuff (4 chairs, 4 towels, and umbrella and a few kid toys, a cooler) as that occupied most of our days. Checking in was a breeze both with the complex and communication with Terrie. The master bed and pillows were so comfortable and the kids slept on the pull-out couch bed which was comfortable as well. Next time we go to Kihei we will definitely stay here if available.

Great Location, Wonderful Property

Some of the reviews about the pools being kid unfriendly were really overstated. The staff was courteous and didn't bother you so long as the kids were not running and jumping in and out of the pool. The one incident where the staff intervened, the staff member watched for 10m quietly assessing the situation before addressing the parents. As a parent of two kids (< 12) I agreed that the kids were disruptive to others and shouldn't be jumping in and out of the pool the way they were.

November 2019 Kihei location

Great place to stay. Several trips to Maui and Kihei. This owner was helpful with information and accommodating to our request. We had a great time in part because of the location. the unit was well stocked with some little items you hate to buy while on vacation like shrink wrap and tin foil. maybe it was just left over but nice to have. New Ac worked great and appears to be a new remodel (assumption) was nicely done. will be requesting future stays if possible dates available. Downsides, none. everything was as listed. not ocean front view. but the beach is three minutes walk.

Thanks Chris, we’ve tried to make our Kihei Getaway as comfortable as a home, and those nice items in the pantry are standards for the rental, as well as basic spices and oil. Great location very close to the beach

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo is nicely furnished and decorated. It has a modern kitchen and a large dining and living room area. We liked having breakfast on the patio which overlooks a big lawn area that is shared with the whole complex. Two small pool are close by. The bathroom is small and the bedroom is pretty dark since it’s on the ground level and has only small windows but that wasn’t a problem for us. Our only concern was encountering some cockroaches in the kitchen. The host was very responsive and tried to resolve the issue and assured us this is not normal for the place. We had an exterminator come by and also received a refund for one day for the inconvenience. The place is part of a large condo complex with a couple hundred units but is surrounded by a lot of green with many birds.

Lovely condo

Stayed here for 3 weeks. Lovely condo for 2 adults. Had our daughter & her husband join us for 1 of those weeks - definitely crowded with 4 adults, but we managed. Condo is as shown in the pictures. Well kept, comfortable furnishings, great quality towels & linens, very comfortable king bed, and our adult kids said the sofa bed was actually quite comfortable! (Which is amazing for sofa beds!). The kitchen is lovely with nice appliances and all the basic cookware and dinnerware that one would need. Extras that were supplied - like beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels were a real bonus and nice to have. Washer/dryer is adequate, but not unlike other units that we’ve had in other condos. Very basic and small, but useable. I thought the owner was most generous with the amount of start up supplies needed. (Ie. toilet paper, tissues, laundry soap, dishwasher soap etc). If I have any disappointment at all, it is in the size of the lanai. It is very small, and the neighbours are in very close proximity, so privacy outside is highly limited.

Great stay!

Great location with short walk to the beach. Everything we needed for a fun beach day was provided in the condo. Easy checkin/checkout process made our stay stress free. Can’t wait to come back!!

Okay stay at a great location

Overall the place worked for us, we just had a particularly poor experience with some maintenance issues and no response from the owner after expressing our disappointment. We landed and had a message that the previous tenants had broke the toilet and it was being replaced, not a big deal really. We arrived at check-in time and the maintenance guy had purchased the wrong size toilet. It ended up being almost 7 o'clock before we could use the restroom at the place. We also had to clean the bathroom because after the repair, it was not done and was not clean from the repair. Frustrating with a 2.5 and 8 year old... More frustrating that I messaged the owner letting her know what had happened, expressed some disappointment, but she never responded which was more disappointing. There was a towel rack with a sign that said "don't use scheduled for repair" and I wonder how long that had been there. The kitchen was not super clean and there were some roaches. Roaches are common in Hawaii and at the Kihei Akahi complex, but the cleaner places usually do not attract them. Just be aware that you will need to be careful about leaving food out during the day/night.

Great condo

The condo was beautiful, relatively clean, and well appointed. The check in process was confusing due to not receiving my instruction packet on time. Once we had all of the kinks worked out it was wonderful. Great location, condo complex was well maintained and beautiful. The staff at the condo complex was very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

This resort is perfectly situated to maximize your fun while on the island. The best beaches are a quick walk away, great restaurants abound in every direction and you never have to drive your car if you don’t want to. Located on the south side of the island we have dramatic sunsets, often with windsurfers soaring into the sky while the sun is setting. In the winter the humpback whales often make a spectacular show by literally jumping out of the ocean to heights of 15-20’ and you can enjoy the show from your beach chair!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We completely remodeled the condo when we purchased it, and hope it is a perfect setting for your island getaway. We have three adult children and 6 grandchildren who visit often and so we’ve tried to make it welcoming to families with beach toys, plastic kids dishes, a portacrib and toddler booster seat. Located on the ground floor, the lanai opens out to a lush green lawn the kids can play on and enjoy, and it’s only steps to the gated pool area when they have tired of the beach. The resort also offers tennis and pickle-ball for guests, in addition to the 2 pools.
