Penthouse views from the top floor, commanding views of all that Maui has to offer. Pool, palms, lawns, and beach. The interior is almost as nice as the view, tastefully and professionally renovated with high end appliances.

Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. Two bedroom with private attached bathroom. 2nd bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. PLUS large private view deck looking out towards ocean. Beach chairs, pool towels, full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer. Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week! General Info: The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18 hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60 foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan. Pretty Cool

The beds were super creative- it was a nice way to maximize space with the fold out bed and sofas. We are a group of coworkers, and def couldn’t share beds, so this was a pretty nice solution at a really good price! Had a great time. Check in and out was easy.

Perfect views and location

This was perfect for our family of 8 (one toddler) the view of the ocean is amazing and the property was beautiful for kids to run around and play football, soccer and swim! Lots of room and enough beds for everyone. It would be nice if there was a couple more chairs and more than one boogie board but it ended up ok! I didn’t realize you can rent chairs and umbrellas, boogie birds from the pool area until the last day. Overall, we can’t wait to come back!

Reviewer Comments: Great relaxing condo, clean, great location, parking was a bit tight, loved having BBQs in the court yard, double check your towels and supplies at the start of week, also they accept perishable and non food items at the end of the week to donate. quiet time was a bit early, a place to have drinks in the later eve would have been nice (beach area away from balcony of shhhhhushers.

Nice view, but small/old place

Overall, the location and the view is very nice. The check in process and communication is good. We found the space is tight even though it lists as 950 sq ft due to the layout of the apartment. The bathroom is tiny, old and a bit dirty. The shower head and the curtain were moldy. We have two small kids, so it felt very tight having to give your kids shower in the small bathroom. I wouldn't stay again.

Aloha, Good to hear overall you enjoyed the location. The condos are feature two full bathrooms, but yes they are not super big. We will be sure to touch base with housekeeping about the cleanliness, usually we get good comments. We do hope you will stay with us again.

Aloha, Our occupancy at the resort was super busy, a great sign for tourism on the island. They did have a propane supply issue right after new years for the BBQ's and heating the pool, good news is our new backup electric pool heater is being installed soon. Hope you come back again soon.

Perfect spot for our family of 6!

Dreamy views! This condo had everything we needed for our family of 6 with 4 teenagers. Plenty of places to sleep and the master bed was so comfortable- which was such a happy surprise. Kitchen had everything we needed for our many meals at the home. Condo came with four beach chairs that we used most everyday. It was easy to rent boogie boards in town for the week. The poolside cabinet had tennis rackets and shuffle board supplies and the teens entertained themselves all week. We also brought pickleball rackets for the pickleball courts that were just down he way. We loved watching the sunset while playing tennis and pickleball. Perfect spot for our family vacation.

Rules posted at pool, what not to do, but nobody to enforce them. Kids throwing balls in pool. One person came down every morning and set aside lounge chairs for 8-10. They also saved 3 tables under the shade sails. Very intimidating to the rest of us. The furniture in unit needs to be updated. Washer and dryer are very old and loud. Microwave old, needs new appliances throughout. Bamboo furniture needs to go. Lights in front room not very good. We were in another unit that was updated and beautiful. This unit should of been updated at least 10 years ago.

The condos were roomy and comfortable though some were in need of upgrading. The grounds were immaculate and we loved barbecuing and eating outside on some nights.It was great to have a lovely swimming pool for our use and seeing turtles on the beach most days was a real treat.We needed cars to go to the shops and restaurants and to the good swimming beaches but everything was nearby and quite accessible.We are all looking forward to returning next year!

Wonderful Maui Sunset

Most rooms have an amazing view of the ocean with beautiful sunsets every evening. The property is beautiful with one of the largest pools on the island...and it not crowded!!! It has great BBQs, tennis courts, shuffleboard and lots of other amenities.

A bit dated and minimal ammenities in condo if you are going to stay many days. No laundry soap, nothing for cooking except minimal dishes. Good view. Condos have a nice adult pool that is deep. Beach is shallow so not a swimming beach per say but nice view.Next to a public park which can be noisy on weekends But not too bad.In the 200$ range is fair. But 300$ plus is a bit pricey. Old building. Management was communicative about AC issues as it was broken at first, but still could use updating/replacing.Also no manual on using house. Could not get Wifi whole time and took two days to figure out TV as you had to press two buttons on remote at once to get off of the open screen. Ants attacked kitchen after food was out for about 1 hour. Did not expect that on 5th floor. If lower in price would stay again. Definitely for budget travelers. Would stay

This time however there were a few issues. 1 the hot tub didn't work for a few days. 2. There was 1 elevator working and we were on the 5th floor with a baby, so this was a hassle. 3. Finally the dishwasher was broke. This should have been communicated with prior as they did know. When you pay 9k for 2 weeks all the above start to matter. A refund for the issues would have been nice to see for a bit.

I would stay here again

Great view. Great location. 5 people stayed. I didn’t feel crowded. The hose communicated well. The king size bed needs to be replaced. I was tilting over on one end. Maintenance never came with toilet paper so we had to buy our own. Otherwise. This place is amazing. My family loved it
