Beautiful garden and swimming pool, beautiful view, spacious apartment. Kitchen needs update/upgrade. Excellent information for local restaurants, sightseeing etc.

Under the Tuscan Sun

Fabulous medieval farmhouse apartment that we chose due to a family wedding taking place in a neighbouring town. It was a treasure to find. Comfortable and homely. Amazing views and lovely swimming pool. We had fantastic communication from the owner,Fiona. There was nothing more we could've asked. Maurizio is also a godsend,he is on hand if any assistance is needed. We loved every minute, it was like home from home. Lots of lovely places to visit eg, Lari, Ponsacco, Volterra, San Gimigniano and a 45 min train ride into Florence. A car is a must and the driving through such lovely countryside is fab. We won't hesitate to return.

Es lag nicht an der Immobilie, sondern an der Ausstattung. Küche: Töpfe und Pfannen müßten ausgetauscht werden. Wohnen: ok Bäder: geht so Außenbereich: teilweise defekte Stühle, 2 von 4 Liegen defekt (wurden nach Rekl. von Maurizo ausgetauscht) 1 von 2 Sonnenschirmen defekt. Aber durch den Pool und 1 Flasche Rotwein haben wir uns die Laune nicht verderben lassen.

Zum Entspannen gut

Insgesamt sehr ruhig, abgesehen von permanentem Radio und Musikgedudel in der Wohnung über unserer . Es waren außer den Gästen darüber keine anderen Gäste in der Einrichtung, deshalb war es ansonsten sehr ruhig. Möbel und Einrichtung müssen teilweise mal erneuert bzw. repariert werden. Pool und Wohnung sehr sauber, Garten gepflegt. Schöner Aussensitz, Verwalter tauchte erst am Abreisetag auf, war aber sehr nett. Fotos in der Anzeige nicht aussagekräftig, man kann sich die Wohnung nicht vorstellen. Betten sind für italienische Verhältnisse gut, aber teilweise zu wacklig. Einkaufen und Lage o.k.

Tolle Erholung

Wir waren 9 Tage zu viert vor Ort. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist perfekt. Alle Highlights der Toskana sind wunderbar zu erreichen. Die Ferienwohnung ist aus unserer Sicht typisch Toskana mit einem wundervollen Blick. Für unsere Kinder war der Pool das Highlight der Ferienwohnung. Die Kommunikation mit Fiona ist vorbildlich. Immer erreichbar und mit vielen tollen Hinweisen und Anregungen. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und die Zeit sehr genossen. Vielen Dank dafür.

Schöner Ort

Der Ort ist nice jedoch morgens die Abkürzung für viele Arbeiter zur Schnellstrasse ! Das App ist hübsch müsste jedoch etwas modernisiert werden ! Die Nachbarn sind sehr britisch es wird alles kontrolliert sogar der Müll !Musik vom App über uns sehr Laut haben und uns gut erholt!!

Toller Pool mit fantastischer Aussicht.

Die Möblierung des Apartments könnte modernisiert werden. Alles was man braucht ist aber vorhanden. Gute Lage zum Erkunden der Toskana. Auf ein Auto ist man dann angewiesen.

Traumurlaub

Liebevoll, im toskanischen Stil eingerichtete Wohnung mit ausreichend Platz und allem Nötigen ausgestattet in traumhafter Aussichtslage in den toskanischen Hügeln. Zur Wohnung gehört eine Stück Wiese mit einer kleinen, überdachten Terrasse. Stühle und Liegen gab es ebenfalls genügend. Die Wohnanlage ist klein und es waren Mitte September höchstens mal 6 Leute am Pool. Dieser hat die absolute Traumaussicht, wird regelmäßig gereinigt, aber leider nicht beheizt, für Ende September aber ausreichend warm.😉 In der Wohnung gab es außerdem genügend Decken, falls die Nächte doch mal zu kalt sind, Handtücher und auch an Kochutensilien hat nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten unser E-Bike dabei und haben von dort einige schöne Touren und Wanderungen gemacht. Es ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen, z.B. Pisa, Lucca, Volterra. Der nächste Supermarkt ist einen guten Kilometer entfernt und bietet eine sehr große Auswahl. In gleicher Entfernung gibt es eine sehr gute und günstige Pizzeria. Etwa 3 km in die andere Richtung gibt es ein gehobenes Restaurant, in dem man auch sehr gut isst, allerdings preislich etwas teurer. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war ebenfalls sehr nett und unkompliziert per Mail. Danke Fiona für einen tollen Urlaub.

Tranquillity

Lovely well equipped tuscan apartment with beautiful views and lovely pool. A well situated place from which to do day visits to key sights or just relax and do nothing.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in guter Lage zu allen Attraktionen

Die Wohnung ist Teil eines größeren Hauses. Man teilt den Garten und den Pool mit 3 anderen Wohnungen,die je für 2 Personen sind und andere Besitzer haben. Wir hatten in der Hochsaison den Pool meist aber für uns. Die Kinder liebten ihn natürlich. Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll und typisch für die Region eingerichtet, man fühlt sich gleich mitten in der Toskana angekommen. Für alle Eventualitäten ist gesorgt - Erste Hilfe, Sonnencreme, Insektenspray, Anfangsvorräte, Seife etc. Es ist ein Rundum-Service. Die Besitzerin Fiona hat auch ein Welcome Book mit vielen tollen Tipps für Besichtigungen, Restaurants, Supermärkten etc. angelegt. Es gibt 2 Schlafzimmer mit je einem Bad, man kann an einem großen Esstisch sitzen, wir waren aber immer auf der Terrasse mit Blick über das toskanische Tal - wunderschön. Wer will kann zig englische DVD sehen, Bücher lesen, Spiele spielen und das sehr gute WLAN nutzen. Ripoli ist ein Minidorf, aber 5 min per Auto ist der nächste Supermarkt mit vielen frischen Spezialitäten, sehr leckerer Take away Pizza und Tankstelle. Der Strand ist ca. 40 Minuten entfernt, Pisa auch. San Gimignano, Volterra, Florenz sind 40 Minuten in die andere Richtung. Alles kein Problem auch mit Kindern (3 und 11). Es war rundum ein ganz toller Urlaub und wir können Fiona und ihre Fewo absolut empfehlen!!! Vielen Dank!!!

A fantastic location and the apartment has all that you need during your stay.

We enjoyed our first visit to this property so much that we returned after five years. The location is perfect - close to the airport and within easy reach of Florence and Pisa. The apartment is well equipped and the owner is particularly helpful in planning your visit.

Wonderful property

This property is characterful and has a lovely garden from which the view is stunning. It was my favourite place to sit, particularly in the early morning with the first cup of coffee of the day and then in the evening with a glass of wine. Everything you need is provided including lots of information on the apartment and the area. It is well situated for visiting the hill towns, Pisa and Florence. We visited Volterra, San Gimignano, Sienna, Monteriggioni, Lucca and Pisa. We also did a couple of local walks and spent time by the fabulous infinity pool. We shopped at the local supermarket and enjoyed the fresh vegetables, fruit, cheeses, bread and fish. We went the last 2 weeks in June which are a bit cooler and less crowded than July/August. The inside of the apartment stays cool including the bedroom. Although we were only there for 2 weeks we felt like it was home and are missing it now!

Wow! Loved it!

What a gem of a find. Lovely traditional Tuscan feel; great amenities; refreshing pool; stunning views. And Fiona had thought of everything - fresh coffee (very important); emergency supplies; spare suncream; insect repellents and the odd sunhat too! A must is dinner at the local B&B... And a must for our kids - decent WiFi! Thanks you Fiona x

Stunning and idyllic location

We were so lucky to find this lovely property which is set in a quiet spot but yet within easy reach of a number of towns and with a supermarket a short drive away. Spacious (comfortable for 4 adults), clean, well equipped and in such a good location. The view from the well kept garden was breathtaking and the pool, which again was well maintained, was enjoyed very much by our 20 and 15 year old boys. This is the perfect area to enjoy all that this part of Tuscany has to offer, from the cities of Pisa and Florence to the hill top towns of Volterra and San Gimignano. When all the sightseeing has been done how could you not relax watching the sun setting on that view. Fiona was an amazing hostess, she answered so many questions before our trip and was so helpful in advising us when we were booking our train to Rome. I can't praise this property enough, we spent an amazing 10 days there and could easily have spent longer. It really felt like we were staying in someones home not just a holiday let.

Summer bliss in Tuscany

After spending days searching for our 'perfect holiday home' we stumbled across this absolute gem in Lari. It offered us everything and more that we could have wished for. Spacious, well equipped, clean, comfortable beds (very important to us), power showers with plenty of hot water etc.... On top of that it offered us a superb location for touring the best of Tuscany. All within an hour we visited Lucca, Sienna, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimigano, Florance, on days that we weren't touring we simply relaxed by the beautiful pool and enjoyed a bar-b-q in the garden by night, perfect. Fiona Hazard was on hand before our holiday and once we were there, including helping me to sort a delicious surprise birthday meal for my husband. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are now struggling with where to go next year as we don't want to be disappointed! Highly recommend.

perfect spot to relax and enjoy Tuscany

The Hughes Family stayed in Italy in the apartment for 2 weeks and loved it. Even before I got there the communication and help received from the the family owners was excellent and continued whilst on holiday . The apartment is in a lovely traditional house that's not too far from the air port. It's location is peaceful and there's a divine infinity pool with beautiful views out onto the the country side. The apartment is kitted out with all the comforts of a loved and well used family apartment. I found the following things super helpful: visitors book, selection of dvds, guide books, veranda and the laundry room . The apartment was the perfect base to explore Tuscany . I 'd go back in a heart beat.

May...d in Heaven!

A late May half-term getaway to introduce our daughters to Italy and all things Tuscan was a complete success. The stunning view from sunrise to sunset, from both the terrace and the pool, was priceless... and made even better by the tranquility of the countryside, including a friendly pheasant in the olive grove! Perfect location for getting to all the major sights; off the beaten track but still in reach of Pisa, Florence, Siena and the beach. Sunsetting BBQs after days of discovery, whether local or further afield, made for a great holiday. Thank you for such civilized relaxation!

What a Gem!

We had a delightful holiday in Ripoli - the apartment is in an ideal location for exploring the nearby towns and cities, but is also wonderfully tranquil for relaxing times by the pool. The views over the valley are stunning and the garden is lovely for al fresco dining. We found the apartment itself well-equipped and full of character, with plenty of really useful information about places to visit and local restaurants provided. The owners are extremely helpful - we would definitely recommend a visit, and would love to come back again ourselves!

Il Borgetino

A lovely quiet spot in a small Tuscan village. It has all the amenities within a few kilometers and is a good base for exploring the Valdera area of the region and when you come back there's the infinity pool with a stunning view to relax in.
