This architect-designed two floors spacious country house with an infinity pool is set in its own fenced and gated grounds with fabulous views over Stafilos Bay across the Aegean to Evia and beyond.There is an infinity private pool 8,5X4m.The nearest neighbor is the owner's house 150m away.The house is surrounded by almond and olive trees and you are free to walk over the private grounds. It is reached from the main road of Skopelos through a 500m long rural road through the forest.The nearest beach and tavern is 700m away.Skopelos town is 4klms away. My place is good for couples, families, nature lovers. The property is set within a Natura 2000 area, the EU-wide ecological network of conservation areas that aim to maintain and restore endangered habitats and species. There is WIFi internet access in and around the house.We recommend to hire a car.

Beautiful location

This lovely house in Stafylos is the perfect place for relaxing holidays. Quiet, private, clean, beautiful garden and pool, amazing sea view. Excellent communication with Katharina, our host, before and during our stay.

A beautiful house in an amazing location

Such a beautiful island and this house is perfect. The location feels rural but the house is walking distance to a beach, some restaurants and a bus stop. The house has everything you need and the pool overlooking the bay is idyllic. Katarina was on hand for any questions and communication before and on arrival was great.

Perfect Villa and host

We spent 6 very special days in Kristina's villa overlooking a picture perfect cove on Skopelos. The views are beautiful of the sea and neighboring islands and the location within her large garden is special. It was a quiet, tranquil retreat where it was easy to relax and spend time swimming in the infinity pool or relaxing on various terraces. Kristina is a very special host whose company we enjoyed immensely.

AMAZING VIEWS

absolutely loved this property! House is set in the hills, quiet, surrounded by beautiful trees with views of the sea 😍. Paradise Found!

Beautiful villa, surrounded by pine trees with a view of Stafylos Bay. We really found it hard to drag ourselves away to do anything other than relax! That's what a holiday should be! The house interior was stylish and simplistic and the pool was really top notch, we found Katarina the owner very helpful and friendly, her husband picked us up from our previous accommodation and she gave us a lift to the supermarket to pick up groceries, which was fantastic! Wonderful memories of a beautiful villa on the most perfect island in Greece!

Beautiful sea views and spacious home with great pool

Situated above Stafilos beach, this is a beautiful spacious villa for a family holiday. The villa and pool are well designed, simply furnished and very clean. It benefits from air conditioning and plenty of outdoor seating and loungers, across several terraces. The host was very accommodating and helpful, and offered great support to us with arrangements prior to our stay. Access is along a steep unadopted road and a hire car is recommended both for access and to make the most of the island. However it is possible to travel around by bus, and visit the local beach and taverns on foot.

Kaiti war super nett. Sie hat sich nicht aufgedrängt, war aber immer ansprechbar. Sie hat für uns die Wäsche gewaschen, als die Waschmaschine nicht funktioniert hat und unser Gepäck zum Motorradverleiher gebracht, damit wir es nicht auf dem Roller transportieren müssen. Das Haus war sauber, schön und geräumig. Die Küche mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Es liegt ziemlich weit oben auf dem Hügel und die Auffahrt ist sehr steil, eher was für kleinere Mietwagen. Zu Fuß ist es ca. 1 km zum Strand von Stafylos.

Splendida

Tutto è stato facile e Katarina gentilissima. La villa è splendida come da foto, pulitissima e in una posizione meravigliosa. La strada per arrivarci è breve ma ripida e in parte sterrata, una cosa non specificata (ma che in Grecia è la norma). L’unica cosa da sapere è che non c’è lavastoviglie (noi scioccamente lo avevamo dato per scontato, visto il livello della sistemazione) e nessun prodotto di base (ma proprio nessuno, dal sale alla carta da cucina) ma i supermercati sono comodi, a pochi minuti di auto. Ci eravamo figurati che si potesse andare in spiaggia a piedi (sono 800 mt) ma non c’è sentiero, bisogna fare la stessa strada che si percorre in auto.

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Umgebung

Das Haus ist genauso schön wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Die Schlafzimmer sind im Erdgeschoss, oben ist der Wohnbereich mit der offenen Küche. Insgesamt gibt es 4 Terrassen, davon sind zwei sehr groß, und man hat einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Die Betten sind für ein Ferienhaus qualitativ sehr gut. Besonders gut fand ich auch, dass es an allen Terrassentüren und Fenstern Fliegengitter gibt. Die Straße zum Meer ist ca. 750 Meter lang (Luftlinie ist sehr viel näher). Zu Fuß braucht man hin ca. 20 min und zurück (da bergauf) ca. 25 min. Mit dem Auto kann man natürlich auch fahren. Allerdings gibt es keinen Parkplatz, sondern man muss am Straßenrand parken. Den Strand fanden wir sehr schön, da er relativ ruhig war. Außerdem kann man über diesen Strand und eine kleine Klippe direkt zum nächsten Strand laufen, wo wirklich wenig los ist und es sogar im hinteren Abschnitt einen FKK-Bereich gibt. Die Straße, die zum Haus führt ist nicht asphaltiert, so dass die Anfahrt ziemlich rumpelig ist. Wir hatten einen Kleinwagen, der damit ein wenig zu kämpfen hatte. Letztlich ging es aber. Die Gastgeberin Katarina hat sich wunderbar um uns gekümmert. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Beautiful house in a wonderful setting

It was a privilege to be able to stay in this beautiful house, which makes the most of its amazing setting. Whilst at the house you can enjoy wonderful views from every terrace and room, and it's only twenty minutes walk (or a very short drive) to two gorgeous beaches. Skopelos town, with its shops and restaurants, is only ten minutes' drive. Katarina, the owner, seemed a lovely person, and responded immediately to any questions we had. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday home in a quiet and beautiful location, but close to the beach, shops and restaurants, I thoroughly recommend this property.

An exceptionally lovely house

Everything about Katarina’s house is lovely. It’s welcoming, well-maintained, and tastefully furnished, situated on the hill above Stafylos with extraordinary views of the Aegean to the south and the west. You can see the cliffs of Skopelos descend to the sea and in the far distance you can see the mountains of the mainland. There are two large, tiled, outdoor patios, one on each floor with terrific views. There are also two smaller patios, one on each floor. Even when you are inside, there are so many large windows it’s like being on an outdoor patio. The house is secluded, at the end of a long, one lane road. Katarina’s house is the closest one, and it’s quite a ways away. There are no houses above. Around the house are several olive trees, citrus trees, and rosemary bushes, with pine trees behind, as well as trees, bushes, and flowers whose names I don’t know. Katarina is incredibly friendly and helpful, but also discreet. It was a pleasure to get to know her. If you want to cook, the kitchen is very nice. If you don’t want to cook, there are wonderful tavernas within reach, one of which is just down the hill above Stafylos beach. We often drove to crescent shaped Stafylos beach, where the calm, clean, warm water and the view are everything they are supposed to be, but we also walked there. It’s a cliché, but we wished we could have stayed.

Magnifique maison avec une vue extraordinaire!

Séjour d’une semaine dans cette magnifique maison , au calme, au milieu des oliviers et des arbres fruitiers sur les hauteurs de Stafylos !La vue sur la baie est extraordinaire! La maison est très bien décorée et lumineuse. Katarina est une hôte adorable, discrète et toujours disponible ! En bref, un excellent séjour ! Envie de revenir et à conseiller très fortement !!!!

Vacanza a Skopelos

La casa è bellissima e fornita di tutto il necessario. Mi ricorderò le colazioni sulla terrazza con magnifica vista sul mare ed il cielo stellato! La posizione è comoda, vicina sia al porto che a Stafilos, una taverna piacevole con ottimo cibo. La strada per arrivare alla casa è in salita con 2 tornanti un pò impegnativi, ma vale decisamente la pena di affrontarli!!!!!

...is worth a thousand words

We have nothing but praise for this property, our host, the village and the Island. The house is bright, clean, and comfortable. The views are amazing, and the property is full of fruit and olive trees. When we wanted privacy, we stayed at the house -- alone with nature and the sea. We ventured out for meals at the seaside, and Skopelos Town was a 10 minute drive to fulfill all of our needs. We will definitely be back, and we look forward to seeing Kaiti and this property again.

Lovely relaxing holiday

Kaiti,thank you very much for our vacation! I with my husband and our friend were on the Skopelos island for the sixth time !! We really love this island! This year, we chose a beautiful house in the village Stafilos in Kait's housei ! We were very tired and relaxing in such a quiet and peaceful place - this is what we need! Kaiti has always been very friendly and delicate. Cleaning the house and replacing the laundry and towels every three days, so we have always been very clean! Despite the presence of wasps and mosquitoes on the island, they did not disturb us much, because everywhere there are protective mesh on the windows. I went on foot in the morning to the beach of Stafilos and Velanio. It was a good physical exercise and training. The beach of Stafilos is only about 800m away, the beach of Velanio is about 1000m. It is very convenient. I'm happy to return to this house again!

Wir haben einen unserer schönsten Urlaube in diesem Haus auf Skopelos verleben dürfen. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig gestaltet und mit den vier Terrassen mit Blick auf das Meer sowie durch die ruhige Lage ideal, um entspannen zu können. Katarina ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Sie hat an alles gedacht, um den Urlaubern einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen, von der zweckmäßigen Ausstattung über Mückenschutz vor allen Fenstern und Türen bis zum Handtuch- und Bettwäschewechsel. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Vue, calme et beauté du paysage.

Excellent séjour dans cette très belle villa, sobre et élégante. La vue donnant sur le plus bel endroit de l'ile est extraordinaire. Les nombreuses petites terrasses offrent des lieux de détente pour chaque moment de la journée. La maison est très propre et tous les équipements en très bon état. Katarina est très accueillante et tout à la fois très discrète. Elle est venue nous chercher sur le port pour nous assister pour le transport de nos bagages. La situation de la maison est idéale tant pour sortir dîner que pour la plage.

Superbe -- Amazing

Thank you very much to Katarina for our stay. The house is perfect and very clean, the view is amazing. Katarina, the owner, is very kind and helpful. The last day she let us the house until we leave so that we could have a shower before going, after the beach. The island and the place are beautiful. Un grand merci à Katarina pour notre séjour. La maison et la vue sont magnifiques, tout est très propre et nous avons pu rester dans la maison jusqu'à l'heure de notre départ ce qui nous a permis de prendre une douche après la plage. L'île est magnifique.

Excellent location.

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Fantastic views in a fantastic location. Private but accessible to Stafilos itself and Skopelos town just a 5 minute drive away. Thoroughly recommend this house to enjoy a great relaxing holiday in this beautiful island.

Wunderschönes Haus mit ebensolchem Meerblick

Schnörkellos und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Haus protzt geradezu mit Terrassen. Haustechnik und WLAN perfekt. Eine überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzerin, die in Sichtweite auf dem Grundstück wohnt. Top-Lage: kein Haus auf diesem Berg über dieser Bleibe. Schön abgelegen und ruhig. Ein Fahrzeug wäre zweckmäßig. Sehr empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus.

Beautiful villa with a view

We would highly recommend a stay in this wonderful villa in Skopelos. The villa is in the hills above Stafylos with the most spectacular views - in fact the property takes full advantage of this with terraces for both bedrooms plus a lovely outside dining area. The decor is lovely - modern yet still feeling very authentic. The bedrooms are light and airy and the upstairs living area and kitchen are spacious and well equipped. The surrounding garden is full of fruit trees and affords complete privacy. Although you could walk to the top of Stafylos, it would be quite a trek as the villa is up in the hills - for that reason we would say a car is a necessity. Also the.road leading to the villa is very rustic - there is a new section but a lot of it is unpaved. We loved our time in this villa - the peace and quiet, the views, the total relaxation. And the owner, Kaitie, was the perfect host. She was so kind and generous- she collected us from the ferry port and dropped us back (getting up extremely early to do so). She made us feel so welcome but was careful not to intrude on our space. We loved her - in fact I cried when I had to say goodbye to her and to the beautiful house that she is so kind to share. 100% recommended.

Although I was born in Athens I have lived and worked as a teacher on Skopelos for more than 30 years.I have now retired but I still I live whole year round on Skopelos taking care of the land ,the house and the pool.
